Honestly, there's a significant overlap in themes between Himiko from MHA & Venus and Jupiter from We Know The Devil, and I didn't realize until I saw this art. Because this absolutely looks like a mashup of their devil forms, and then all the themes and concepts slotted into place so perfectly.
Damn, now I'm just thinking about a fanfic of IzuTogaOcha as Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune, respectively. It'd have to shift around the ideas who fits what, and I'm 50/50 on whether Himiko and Izuku would fit Jupiter or Venus better, probably some of both but it depends on how you look at it. But I feel like it'd be *super* good.
Just think about it:
Jupiter's "I want to hurt. I want to be hurt. And if you feel the same way, then you're just as bad as me" is very Himiko, that her quirk is wrong and bad. She wants to hurt them, to drink their blood, and she knows it's bad but she wants it anyways, wants them to hurt her the same way, and if they're alright with that then they're just as much of a monster as she is. The snapping the hairband to remind her to keep her urges to herself that's been ingrained by her parents. But Jupiter also fits Izuku somewhat, his ('his' probably for this concept) sort of accepting being distanced from everyone and not having any genuine connection.
Venus's "I don't want to be strong. I don't want to be that sort of person at all." would fit a quirkless transfem Izuku extremely well, that he's just being a pushover because he doesn't want to fight the others, he doesn't want to try and be strong and masculine and fit that image. He wants to help people, but he can't really stand up for himself. But Himiko going "Why are you protecting me. Why won't you let me... Why can't you let it have me. Why won't you go on without me." to the other two also fits super well, that she thinks in some ways she is the villain society sees her as, and struggles to accept that the other two refuse to leave her to that fate.
This interaction feels a lot like Ochako and Izuku "Venus, your problem is that you are very nice. But you want something. And you think being nice is going to give it to you. But it never will. And until you figure out what it is you want. Every kindness of yours will be full of that want. Like mine is."
Ochako is Neptune 100%, there's no way "Doesn't it feel unfair? You're already good, so why do you have to try so hard to be good? It makes me mad. They want you to prove you're good. But you're already so good. What is that? Why do they do that?" isn't Ochako lashing out at hero society and the other two, for declaring Himiko a villain when she's good, for Izuku being seen as lesser for being quirkless, for all of it! Ochako is the one who would get angry on others behalf, just like Neptune, who sees that they are good and don't have to change to fit in, that they aren't bad just because they're different.
God, I desperately want to read this, it'd be so good.
