Danny: Okay, Sora. Did you see how it’s done? Tell me the plot of your game real simple. Just like that.

Sora: You got it! Cue the music!

Danny: NO, DON’T CUE THE MUSIC!

Sora: Kairi washes up on the shore Completely unaware of what the heck is in store Then Destiny Islands blows up from the war Of the heartless little evil guys that run on all fours

Danny: I’m already lost. Who are these people and places?

Sora: I’ll tell you later, buddy. I’m already off to the races! I’m now in Traverse Town with Goofy and Donald Duck

Danny: From the Disney movies?

Sora: Yes!

Danny: What exactly the fuck?

Sora: I’m a keyblade wielder and they need my ability Sealing keyholes of worlds, restoring all the tranquility

Danny: This is not making sense.

Sora:  Well, actually he’s evil It was just a facade Now he’s my arch enemy

Sora: Now we are traveling To Hollow Bastion we go Run into Riku, oh no! Possessed by Ansem and so He’s after Princess Kairi  And then I really try to be A hero so I died to free Her heart that’s deep inside of me

Danny: Tell me why Ansem even wants Kairi Why is the princess human if a mouse is king? Are you some kind of fuckin’ Nier? If you died how are you here? Please kill me with the nearest spear

Sora: Oh, I’ll clear it up.

So I turn into a Heartless Then brought back by Kairi’s power We escape to The End of the World This place is really dour 

Ansem followed us there  ‘Cause his plan finally starts to flower As Kingdom Hearts appears Making every person quake and cower *gasp*

Danny: What is Kingdom Hearts?

Sora: It’s a door and also a moon There’s another one and it’s a moon But not like the first moon Anyway, Ansem thinks Kingdom Hearts has tons of bad stuff But it opens and he melts from all the goodness

Danny: That’s tough.

Sora:  Then we find out it’s a doorway venting evil fast

Danny: But it was filled with light and stuff.

Sora: It’s better not to ask.

Me and Mickey Mouse seal up the door from both sides with our keys And that’s the basic premise of my game No questions please! 

Danny: My god, this plot is all That I can take I want to cry and jerk off Into some pancakes

But I must swallow the hate I give up, this is my fate As host of Talking Video Games

Arin: The ratings are in. The show’s canceled.

.....I was literally like halfway through the album and about to make a dumb post saying “You know the one thing that irks me about Starbomb songs is that they’re painfully formulaic but ‘A Wild Guitar Solo Appears’ has a concept that is so abstract and not about shock humor that I’m kind of okay with that!! But I still wish the formula wasn’t so predictable :////” and then fuckin...... This Song Sucks

My first listen-through of the third Starbomb album via Spotify! Except for the two music videos they’ve released already of course. Also I have listened to the previews on itunes, but that didn’t take away much from this experience personally. Enjoy if you decide to read!

so it’s now tomorrow and I feel like making a post now about the song previews I heard on itunes because I need to scream, so if you don’t want spoilers for the new starbomb album don’t click the readmore and/or just keep scrolling

- SO ONE OF THE THINGS I'M EXCITED ABOUT IS DANNY RAPPING IN ONE SONG AND ARIN SINGING IN ANOTHER - AND I'M SO GLAD BECAUSE ARIN HAS A SUPER NICE SINGING VOICE, IT SOUNDS WONDERFUL

- the zelda song reminds me loosely of...michael jackson I think?? idk but it’s very groovy, I really enjoy that sound

- arin's voice sounds incredibly buttery in the mario party song, and combined with sung's backing vocals it's soundin 👌 👌 - I'm Very into it

- twrp adds so much to their music like omg - Not To Mention - guitar solo song is a pokemon song again - pikachu playing a guitar, I love it and all the “pika pika!”s

- the kh plot song sounds like it's just the first game, which fjlksdjf I'm not surprised about but it sounds silly like the previous two and I'm hype - lowkey wanted them to either try the plot of the entirety of kh up to 3, or another game - because compared to literally any other game in the series, kh1 is piss simple to understand

- and the last track sounds incredible and stupid - but the good kind of stupid

- oh yeah also hello??flute solo??? - well not a solo but - that's a fuckin flute in there, lads

And so overall, just based on the samples at least, my favorites so far are a boy and his boat, welcome to the mario party, and this song sucks
