Reported to be haunted by the angry, Depression-era poltergeists of two executed vagrants who were falsely promised leniency if they confessed to a murder that they committed when inebriated. Moving objects, sounds, voices, EVPs, moving shadows and other paranormal phenomena have been reported here by ghost hunters. The specter of Harry S. Truman, who once campaigned here, is also said to appear at times.
