it is goddamn astounding how much more pleasant and invigorating dreamwidth is than every other socialish media site I ever check
#and yet here I am remarking on this on tumblr instead lol#truly though mine is basically just an RSS feedreader and a couple of relatively impersonal (in a good way) blogs#and it still feels so much more conversational / still conveys so much more interesting/engagable-with/useful information#anyway I also still always forget it exists for months at a time#because critical mass problems#and also let me be honest the adjective it doesn't win is 'entertaining'#but lord. I remember when everything felt mostly that way#(RIP google reader)
