well i’m glad gyuri was brought into the picture bc i really love everything about this story and how it’s going!! i’m not going to lie, i really enjoy reading angst (something about being sad for a little bit i just like it ajajsj) but reading this has been so nice? like the second chapter was slightly angsty with mingyu + oc pretending they didn’t know each other and mingyu not talking to her etc. but it’s really just been nice overall to see (read) them just be civil and normal with each other. i can’t wait until we get some more fluff and small family moments between them, and i also can’t wait until they finally are just open about the first time they met!

also yes i saw the previews!! any mingyu in a suit i’ve seen lately i catalog it in my brain as “my daisy mingyu” ahsh

now i don’t know if this will be cleared up later or if you want to leave it open to interpretation but i think mingyu knew who she was the minute he saw her right? i know it’s written that he kept looking at her even when she wasn’t noticing, which is why i assume this, but it also seems like oc thinks he remembered when they were at the restaurant and jennie mentioned the club. in my head he knew it was her all along (i was thinking of this the other day. it gave me an excuse to go back and re-read that chapter to analyze ajsh).

lastly, if your finger slips and you accidentally press “post now” i don’t think anyone will be mad 😌

yes, tbh, i am very glad too i decided to bring Gyuri to the picture <3 i was going to write two separate AUs tbh, CEO!au and singleparent!au bc i liked the concept so much but at some point i was like... huh i could've just put them together? so I did :D

and tbh i'm... kind of more used to writing angst too at some point, and almost ALL of my long works like Hi Wonwoo, Flower, or Falling Flowers were all angsty to begin with. So to write this... 36k-ish story when the main genre isn't angst... I was worried people would find it boring bc it's just mostly fluff. A lot of things changed during the process of writing My Daisy, and I'm glad that you guys seem to enjoy it more than i thought you would💓

to answer your question about Mingyu!! I'll just put it under the keep reading mark just in case people consider it a [spoiler] 🙈🙈

Mingyu recognized her from the beginning, just like OC recognized him the moment she saw him in the office. They were both drunk, yes, and there were a lot of details that skip their mind, but their meeting at the office was that moment of clarity for the both of them. When they woke up after that night, the face was blurry, but it's not forgotten, you know?

They had ideas about one another, and to actually see each other //sober// is like the missing puzzle in their mind and it just... clicks. It clicks to them that this is the person that I slept with the other day. But, again, they dont see any reason to bring it up so they dont heheh. and yess, as far as OC's concerned, she thought he's only found out by then.

and noooo pls i need to teach myself how to be patient 😭😭
