I am always on a quest to find true blue flowering plants for the garden. They are the hardest to come by. But these totally gorgeous deep blue delphiniums fit the bill. If the rose is the queen in the flower kingdom, I think of the delphinium as the king. They are out of the world beautiful but seem to be a pain in the neck to grow. Snails and slugs love them and each flower stalk needs to be staked by hand. But I believe their outstanding beauty makes it worth to plant them in the garden. How about you?
