i miss atreboda so much i'm gonna look at the fireflies in jotunheim scene again... also remember how atreus agreed to help angrboda in stopping gryla from torturing animals & stealing their souls? making angrboda confront gryla, who is deep down in her grief and bitterness?

and when the battle was over, atreus listened to gryla shouting and belittling angrboda... he gave her some time to process her feelings and let her talk, until suggesting something to take her mind off of it (taking a walk ;-;). he saw the chance to comfort her after such a difficult ordeal and he did it.

when gryla said something with the lines "no one will remember you - not even loki", i bet you 100% that atreus took that to heart and thought to himself that he will never forget a girl like angrboda. he will do anything/everything to see her thriving and happy... que the racing back to the treehouse scene and when they sit together... oh atreus you are genuinely such a good guy. this kid has a heart of gold. a heart of gold angrboda deserves :')

all of ironwood is my fave but when they was watching the stars and atreus was like "the stars here are different" and angrboda said " no, you just are" my heart jumped 😭 that line of dialogue is SEVERELY underrated imo lol atreus would probably punish himself mentally for even thinking about forgetting her and since he has a way to go back to her ironwood, i doubt he'd try and refrain himself from not going
