Any thoughts on the Ddupleks 2-3/4" broadhead shells? Aside from them being like $4 / shell.

Yeah, they're stupid overpriced and kinda meh, I vaguely remember another identical steel expanding slug that was sold under a different brand that no longer exists.

It won't make your target any deader than a standard Winchester super X, Remington slugger, or federal truball- it might make them less dead though.

And it costs 4 times more than a conventional. I'll pass.

Hey shotgun dude, you know anything about 7/8 oz 12 gauge rifled slugs? I’m thinking of trying out some remington ones with an advertised velocity of 1800 fps. The main use will be for hogs and deer within 50 yds but I’m concerned about how well they’ll penetrate. I normally use federal 1 1/4 oz slugs at 1520 fps and have been perfectly happy with them but I’m very curious about how well a lighter weight and higher velocity slug would do.

I'm more about terminal effect for defense. I'd run a hard cast like truball deep penetrator for pig
