You can't be ignorant online because you will get torn apart -- and probably for good reason, because everyone should be educating themselves about what's going on in the world. Being a member of the Tumblr community and LGBT community online opened my eyes to what's going on right now and how I can make sure, when I speak about issues I'm passionate about, I'm educated and don't come off as an asshole -- and if I do, it's about educating myself more and apologizing properly.
