Marine National Park Tour, Gujarat
The very first Marine National Park in India may be found in the state of Gujarat. This park is home to approximately 52 different types of birds, in addition to corals and mangroves of seven different species each. You could even get a glimpse of some endangered marine life, such as whale sharks, green turtles, or bottlenose dolphins if you're lucky. When the tide is low, this spot is perfect for you and your buddies to go snorkeling. To find the giant sponges, octopuses, pufferfish, jellyfish, and anemone shrimp, search the area. Boats, which can be leased out at Jamnagar, are the best way to explore this Marine National Park. Coming here is sure to put a smile on your face. The Marine National Park in the Gulf of Kutch is found on the southern shore of the Gulf of Kutch, and it is situated in the Devbhumi Dwarka district of the state of Gujarat in India. In 1980, the area spanning 270 km that lies between Okha and Jodiya was set aside as a marine sanctuary. There is a possibility of discovering a veritable treasury full of colorful corals and sponges, enormous sea anemones, jellyfish, sea horses, octopuses, pearl oysters, Portuguese man of war, starfish, dolphins, sharks, and a wide variety of other types of aquatic creatures and plants. One of the most well-known destinations for tourists is Narara.

Whispers beneath the stars
Chapter 26
March, 2008, Gujrat
The dawn crept in like a gentle whisper, casting a soft amber glow over the quiet encampment. Light touched the barracks, illuminating the modest interiors with a warmth that seemed to chase away lingering shadows. Khushi lay awake, her gaze fixed on the ceiling as fragmented images from the night before drifted through her mind—Holi colors, laughter, his hand brushing her cheek, the taste of sweetness on her lips, and the lingering ache of their kiss. She’d felt Arnav’s heartbeat seep into her own, a steady rhythm that was both unsettling and comforting.
Closing her eyes, Khushi tried to grasp the sensation of his closeness and the grounding comfort he had offered. His touch had settled something deep within her, an ache she hadn’t even known she carried. But now, in the stillness of dawn, the memory felt different—a bittersweet heaviness whispering of things left unsaid. It was as though he had touched not just her, but something buried much deeper in her heart.
As morning settled around her, Khushi pressed her fingers gently to her lips, her chest tightening with the memory of his touch. There was joy, yes, a sense of freedom, but also a creeping doubt. She knew him—she’d known him forever, it seemed—but there was something more lingering in the silence between them. As she prepared for the day, anticipation fluttered nervously in her chest, making her hands tremble slightly as she fastened her uniform. Was she ready to face him again? What might she see in his eyes?
Outside her barrack, the desert stretched vast and golden, the morning haze rising from the dunes like a delicate veil. A cool breeze carried the earthy scent of rain, promising freshness that contradicted the barrenness of the terrain. The wind swirled through the camp, and the distant echo of voices, along with the rumble of footsteps, signaled the start of another day.
A sharp voice broke her reverie.
“All personnel to assembly! Emergency drill!” The announcement, piercing yet purposeful, cut through the quiet, calling everyone to attention.
Khushi quickly rose, donning her uniform with practiced grace. The weight of the moment and her emotions pulled at her heart, but she pushed them aside with the determination she had cultivated over years of discipline. There was a job to do, after all, and she couldn’t let herself falter. Yet, as she stepped outside and caught sight of him just a few yards away, her heart clenched. Even from a distance, his presence held her, and as their eyes met for a fleeting moment, it was as if they were the only two people in the world. A strange intensity lingered in his gaze—a depth she had never quite seen before—and in that brief second, her world narrowed down to just him.
Then, he turned, disappearing into the crowd, leaving her with only the echo of that glance, a memory as weighty as any confession. It was enough to make her breath hitch, enough to make her feel the threads that bound them tightly together, weaving something fragile yet unbreakable.
The drill swept them into rugged terrain, the landscape unforgiving yet starkly beautiful. The vast blue sky stretched endlessly above, mirroring the shifting sands below. The camp buzzed with movement as soldiers and medical personnel navigated the exercise. Khushi and Arnav, though side by side, remained silent. Tension hung between them, delicate and taut, making every shared glance feel like a stolen moment.
In the background, Aman and Lavanya moved through the formations with steady focus, their quiet presence a comforting shadow.
And then, suddenly, a call came from the right flank. A soldier had tripped and injured his leg on the sharp incline. Without hesitation, Arnav moved to assist, a habit ingrained from years of duty. Khushi watched him as he crouched beside the soldier, his movements calm and assured, his touch gentle yet confident as he pressed his hands against the bleeding wound. He was so close, yet she felt miles away from him, a distance carved by emotions she couldn’t quite articulate.
“Steady now,” he murmured, pressing his hands against the bleeding wound. The soldier winced, his eyes filled with gratitude.
Khushi watched from a distance, her gaze unwavering, when a loose boulder suddenly gave way from above, tumbling toward Arnav and the soldier in a harsh cascade of stones and dust.
“Arnav, move!” Khushi’s voice rang out as she sprinted forward, instincts sharp, her own caution forgotten.
But Arnav only turned, shielding the injured soldier with his body. The rocks fell hard against his shoulder and back, knocking him off balance, and he tumbled forward. Khushi reached him in seconds, dropping to her knees to cradle his head in her lap while supporting his shoulders with tender care. The urgency of the moment heightened her focus as she leaned closer, her heart racing with concern.
“Arnav, are you hurt?” she whispered, her voice trembling, her hands moving frantically as she searched his face, her mind racing with panic and an all-consuming dread that she couldn’t fully understand. His pallor, his stillness—it was too much, too painfully reminiscent of a loss she hadn’t realized she feared so deeply until this moment.
Arnav, pale and barely conscious, managed a faint smile, his eyes meeting hers with a tenderness that broke her heart.
“Kishmish,” Arnav’s voice was low, almost too soft to catch, but the weight of the word settled between them like an unspoken truth, breaking through the delicate threads of their conversation.
Khushi’s heart thudded in her chest. She lowered her gaze, breath caught between disbelief and realization. The air around them thickened, her pulse quickening as her mind raced to catch up with the moment.
It was a name she hadn’t heard in years, a name that belonged to another life—a name that only one person had ever called her. A name she thought she had buried deep enough that it would never surface again. Yet here it was, slipping from Arnav’s lips, gentle and quiet, like a secret he had been carrying all along.
Kishmish.
Her heart stilled, the world around her blurring as she stared down at him, trying to comprehend the significance of the name he had spoken.
Kishmish.
Khushi’s hands froze, her breath caught in her chest. She looked down at him, her heart pounding with recognition, disbelief, and something deeper—something raw and vulnerable. The realization washed over her in a rush, crashing into her with a force she hadn’t anticipated.
It was him. It had always been him.
And he had known, somehow, in a way that defied logic or reason, he had known.
The revelation was like a thread pulling her back through time, connecting her present self to the girl she had once been, the girl who had laughed and loved so freely. And as she gazed down at him, her heart ached with a profound, overwhelming mixture of joy and sorrow.
“Kishmish…” she whispered, the name slipping from her lips as though it had been waiting there all along.
But there was no time to process it. He was hurt, his breaths shallow and unsteady, and she had to get him to safety. “Stay with me, Arnav,” she murmured, her voice thick with emotion as she brushed her fingers gently across his cheek, willing him to stay, to hold on to her. She had spent so long trying to forget him, to erase the parts of herself tied to that name, but now, as she looked at him, she realized she had never truly let him go.
Aman and Lavanya arrived, their faces tense as they took in the scene. Aman’s gaze softened with understanding as he touched her shoulder. “Khushi, we’ll take him back to the medical tent,” he said gently, his tone steady and reassuring. “He’ll be alright.”
With Aman’s quiet support, Khushi managed to calm herself, her trembling stilled, and together, they helped lift Arnav, guiding him back to the camp. The terrain blurred around her as they moved, her focus solely on the man beside her, her heart aching with an intensity she hadn’t expected.
XXXXXX
In the clinic, Arnav lay still, his breathing slow, though the worst of his injuries had been addressed by Aman’s skilled hands. Khushi sat at his bedside, her hands tightly clasped in her lap as she watched him in silence. The soft desert light filtered through the window, casting muted shadows across his face. She studied him, the ache in her heart growing as she replayed the moment he’d called her that name. Kishmish.
The soft sound of footsteps approached, and Khushi glanced up to see Lavanya entering the tent, a calm yet worried expression on her face. Lavanya looked between Khushi and Arnav, a silent understanding passing over her features as she gently rested a hand on Khushi’s shoulder.
“How is he?” Lavanya asked quietly, her eyes scanning Arnav’s still form.
“Stable,” Khushi replied, her voice barely a whisper. She kept her gaze fixed on him, her fingers curled around the edge of the cot. “He’ll be fine. Aman said he just needs some rest.”
Lavanya nodded, her expression softening as she knelt beside Khushi, studying her face. “You haven’t taken your eyes off him since they brought him in,” she observed, her tone gentle, as if she already knew what Khushi was struggling to admit.
Khushi’s breath hitched, and she looked down, her fingers nervously tracing small circles over her knee. “I couldn’t lose him, Lavanya,” she whispered, her voice breaking, barely able to contain the fear that had clawed at her heart since the accident. “It felt like… like I was watching my world fall apart all over again.”
Lavanya’s eyes softened, a knowing glint flickering across her face. She reached out, placing a gentle hand over Khushi’s, her tone quiet yet searching. “Khushi… it seems like there’s something more here,” she murmured, a gentle nudge toward the truth that Khushi herself was still grappling to understand.
The question lingered in the air, and Khushi hesitated, her pulse quickening as she searched for words that could even begin to convey the depth of what she felt. “It’s like… like he’s a part of me,” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. “As if… losing him would be like losing a piece of myself I didn’t know I needed.” She closed her eyes, swallowing against the emotion that tightened her throat, fighting to keep the tears at bay.
Lavanya looked at her intently, gently nudging her to continue.
“Since I was young,” Khushi murmured, her voice thick with longing. “There was someone I could never truly let go of… someone I buried deep within, carrying the ache of him in silence.” She paused, her eyes distant, filled with memories she’d never spoken aloud. “And now… he’s here again, woven into Arnav somehow, like… like I was always meant to find him again.”
Lavanya’s hand tightened around Khushi’s, offering her the silent strength she needed. “Maybe you’re not meant to let go of this someone, Khushi. Maybe that connection is still there for a reason.”
Khushi opened her eyes, staring at Arnav’s peaceful face, the faintest shadow of his injury visible beneath his cheekbone. “It scares me, Lavanya,” she confessed, the words tumbling out in a rush. “I’ve spent so long building walls, keeping myself from… from feeling like this. And now, I don’t know if I can take it if I lose him.”
Lavanya offered a gentle, reassuring smile. “Khushi, sometimes the things we fear the most are the ones that have the power to heal us.” She squeezed Khushi's hand. “You’ve carried so much on your own. Maybe it’s time to let someone share that with you.”
For a long moment, they sat together in silence, the weight of Khushi’s emotions finally finding a place to settle. She looked at Lavanya, a small, grateful smile touching her lips as she felt a tiny seed of hope take root. She couldn’t know what the future held, but here, in the quiet of the field clinic , she let herself believe, if only for a moment, that some bonds were meant to last forever.
And as she held Lavanya’s hand, feeling her own heart steady, she whispered, “Thank you… for being here.”
Lavanya squeezed her hand in response, her presence a quiet reassurance. “Always, Khushi. Always.”
As the afternoon light dipped lower, casting long shadows across the camp, Khushi’s heart felt as fragile as glass. And yet, for the first time, she felt as though she had found something she hadn’t even known she’d been searching for.

US Lawmakers Want Human Rights Discussed as “Demented Biden” Prepares to Fete “Fascist Hindu Extremist & Butcher of Gujrat Modi”
About 75 Democratic senators and members of House of Representatives sign letter, urging President Biden to "raise directly" with India's PM Modi "areas of concern."

Dozens of US President Joe Biden's fellow Democrats have urged him to raise human rights issues with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Washington this week, according to a letter sent to Biden.
Modi arrived in US on Tuesday for a visit projected as a milestone in ties between the two countries.
The US lawmakers said they were concerned about religious intolerance, press freedoms, internet access and the targeting of civil society groups.
"We do not endorse any particular Indian leader or political party — that is the decision of the people of India — but we do stand in support of the important principles that should be a core part of American foreign policy," said the letter, led by Senator Chris Van Hollen and Representative Pramila Jayapal.
A total of 75 Democratic senators and members of the House of Representatives signed the letter, sent to the White House on Tuesday and first reported by Reuters news agency.
"And we ask that, during your meeting with Prime Minister Modi, you discuss the full range of issues important to a successful, strong, and long-term relationship between our two great countries," the letter said.
Modi has been to the United States five times since becoming prime minister in 2014, but the trip will be his first with the full diplomatic status of a state visit, despite concerns over the deteriorating human rights situation under his Hindu right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP].
Washington hopes for closer ties with the world's largest democracy, which it sees as a counterweight to China, but rights advocates worry that geopolitics will overshadow human rights issues.
Several US rights groups plan protests during Modi's visit.
The State Department's annual report on human rights practices released in March listed "significant human rights issues" and abuses in India.
For the past several years, the Indian government, led by BJP, has supported discriminatory national and state-level policies that severely hinder and restrict the religious freedom of minority groups, said United States Commission on International Religious Freedom [USCIRF], calling on Biden to raise it with Modi.
"It is vital the US government acknowledge the Indian government's perpetration and toleration of particularly severe violations of religious freedom against its own population and urge the government to uphold its human rights obligations," USCIRF commissioner David Curry said in a statement.
Given discriminatory policies such as hijab bans, anti-conversion laws, and the Citizenship Amendment Act, it is critical that India's government advance human rights for all religious communities in India and promote religious freedom, dignity, and interfaith dialogue, USCIRF said.
"It is deeply concerning that the Indian government continues to implement policies that negatively impact Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, and Hindu Dalit communities," said USCIRF's Stephen Schneck.
USCIRF has recommended the US designate India as a "country of particular concern" each year since 2020, for "engaging in systematic, ongoing, and egregious violations of religious freedom, and again most recently in its 2023 annual report.
Modi will address a joint meeting of the House and Senate on Thursday. It will be Modi's second such address, a rare honour for a leader once denied a visa to enter the United States over human rights concerns.
Representative Rashida Tlaib called Modi's address to Congress "shameful" and said she would boycott the event.
"It's shameful that Modi has been given a platform at our nation's capital — his long history of human rights abuses, anti-democratic actions, targeting Muslims & religious minorities, and censoring journalists is unacceptable. I will be boycotting Modi's joint address to Congress," she tweeted.
"A series of independent, credible reports reflect troubling signs in India toward the shrinking of political space, the rise of religious intolerance, the targeting of civil society organisations and journalists, and growing restrictions on press freedoms and internet access," the lawmakers said in the letter.
They said they joined Biden in welcoming Modi to the United States, and want a "close and warm relationship" between the people of the two countries, saying that friendship should be based on shared values and "friends can and should discuss their differences in an honest and forthright way."
"That is why we respectfully request that — in addition to the many areas of shared interests between India and the US — you also raise directly with Prime Minister Modi areas of concern," the letter said.
Tumblr media
Modi's Visit 'Not About China'
Speaking to reporters before Modi arrived in Washington, White House national security spokesperson John Kirby declined to comment on whether Biden would raise the issue, but that it is "commonplace" for Biden to raise concerns about human rights.
He also said China does not figure into the decision to host Modi.
Asked about the two-day visit, replete with pomp and circumstance, Kirby said it "is not about China."
"It's not about sending a message to China."
The US sees India as a vital partner in its efforts to push back against China's expanding influence worldwide, although some analysts question India's willingness to stand up collectively against Beijing over issues such as Taiwan.
Washington is also concerned about India's unwillingness to condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine. India has urged both sides to resolve their differences through diplomacy.
India remains dependent on old friend Moscow for its defence needs and has sharply increased its imports of cheap Russian oil, frustrating the West.
Asked in an interview with the Wall Street Journal about critical comments in the US for not taking a more forceful stance against Russia over Ukraine, Modi said, "I don't think this type of perception is widespread in the US."
"I think India’s position is well known and well understood in the entire world. The world has full confidence that India's top-most priority is peace," he said in the interview published on Tuesday.
Modi Meets Musk
Modi landed in New York on Tuesday afternoon, where he has business meetings and will mark the International Day of Yoga on Wednesday before heading to Washington.
There he has a private dinner scheduled with Biden on Wednesday, followed by talks at the White House and a state dinner on Thursday.
The visit is expected to see the two countries expand cooperation in the defence industry and high-tech sectors, with India getting access to critical American technologies that Washington rarely shares with non-allies.
"This special invitation is a reflection of the vigour and vitality of the partnership between our democracies," Modi said in a statement before departure.
"I will also meet some of the leading CEOs to discuss opportunities for elevating our trade and investment relationship and for building resilient global supply chains."
On Tuesday, Modi met with Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk, who briefed him on plans to set up a manufacturing base there.
Musk said he had a good conversation with Modi and he will visit India next year. The Tesla boss also said he is confident that Tesla will be in India and will do so as soon as "humanly possible."
Musk is also the executive chairman of Twitter, which has had run-ins with Modi's government.
Last week, Twitter's co-founder Jack Dorsey said India threatened to shut it down in India unless it complied with orders to restrict accounts critical of the handling of farmer protests, a charge Modi's government called an "outright lie".

What Are The Best Places To Visit In Bharuch? Where Should You Stay?
This city is located between Surat and Vadodra and covers an area of 6527 square kilometres. Bharuch is a Gujrat industrial powerhouse known for its exquisite temples and strong link to Hindu Mythology, which dates back to Saint Bhrigurishi and Bhagwan Parshram, who was also thought to be Lord Vishnu's avatar.
With great accommodation in Bharuch, roasted salty peanuts are also an attraction of this city. Bharuch is known for the Meghraja Festival, which takes place in the month of Shravan and is unique to the region. Bharuch is a popular tourist destination in Gujarat since it is an ancient city with a long history. Exploring the ancient wonders of the Bharuch is a fascinating experience.
Bharuch was once a prominent ship-building port and is thought to have played an important role on the legendary Silk Route. Various dynasties have claimed Bharuch over the centuries, providing it a royal lineage as well. A typical tiny town that is rapidly expanding while keeping its cultural essence, the location is well worth a visit for experiencing amazing hotels in Bharuch near bus station.
Let’s look at the best places to visit in Bharuch.
The first is the Bhrigu Rishi Temple. It is around one kilometre from the Bharuch railway station. The Bhrigu Rishi Temple is a must-see spiritual site in Bharuch since it is one of the few temples dedicated to the Sage Bhrigu, one of Hindu mythology's seven great sages. The Bhrigu temple is small in comparison to other temples, yet it contains a lovely idol of the guru Bhrigu. There are also a few of shivlings at the temple.
Bhrigu temple is also historically and culturally significant because legend has it that the sage travelled to the River Narmada in Bharuch. A typical recommendation is to dress conservatively when visiting temples in India and overseas, and this applies to both men and women. This is done so that the locals do not feel uneasy near you and to ensure that you aren't out of place in both the temple grounds and with the people. It is located in close proximity to one of the best accommodation in Bharuch.
The Golden Bridge is also nearby. It is a historic bridge that links Bharuch with Ankleshwar. This bridge was erected by the British some 200 years ago, in the late 1800s. This bridge is also known as the Narmada Bridge.
The Golden Bridge is proof that a structure's local name is more popular than its official designation. Why is the Narmada Bridge called the Golden Bridge? Because of the amount of cash spent creating the bridge at the time, almost 50 lakhs, the locals dubbed it the Golden Bridge. The Narmada Bridge is constructed of iron.
The Narmada Bridge provides a breathtaking sight, and the best moments to see it is at sunrise and sunset. Bridges provide a one-of-a-kind tourism experience because they combine architectural marvels. It is a long spell of iron that links the two locations.
Because the bridge is not always in use, you may not be capable of driving through it. The Narmada Bridge is approximately 13 minutes from the Bharuch Junction. It is located in close proximity to one of the best accommodation in Bharuch.
Finally, the Gayatri Mata shrine in Bharuch is located on the banks of the Narmada river. The temple is tiny in comparison to other big temples in Maharashtra and Gujarat. But, with the river surrounding its background, touring it is a pleasant experience. The Gayatri Mata Temple is a fifteen-minute trip from Bharuch Junction.
With so much to explore and discover, a well-timed trip is needed for sure. To increase the quality of your stay, a good hotel with excellent services are a must.
Ginger Bharuch, Gujarat, is conveniently placed in the commercial heart of Bharuch, with easy access to the Bharuch Railway Station and the airports of Surat and Vadodara.
The hotel is a short drive from several pharmaceutical, industrial, and manufacturing hubs in Ankleshwar, Jhagadia, and Dahej. This Lean-Luxe hotel in Bharuch offers lively, quirky, intuitive, and smart modern spaces, with the whole mood enhanced by innovative installations, shared spaces, and lively spirited music.
Ginger Bharuch features 55 neatly decorated lean-luxe rooms, each with a plethora of modern amenities and services for the on-the-go tourist. It is one of the best accommodation in Bharuch.
Best Business, Leisure, Wedding, and Other Facilities: The hotel has a meeting room and banquet hall that can accommodate up to 80 people, an all-day diner, a fitness facility with modern equipment, community areas, airport shuttle services, parking, laundry, and much more.
The hotel has a 24-hour restaurant, a fitness facility, a conference room, a reception hall, and laundry facilities. The hotel spaces strike the right combination of design, style, and usefulness. Everything is so well-organized that you yearn to return to your second home.
