Guitarist different Dale, with one of the best steel drummers on Earth, singer Trinidadian Professor Einstein Brown and his band Sapadilla. www.einsteinbrown.com _____ One of the first roots reggae calypso, and soca bands in Southern California. Sapadilla, first backing band for British roots reggae artists Pato Banton @patobanton1 and Tippa Irie @tippairie performed at many municipal city concert series, private events, Costa Rica, movie premieres; and many top celebrities parties. _______________________ Einstein is amongst the top Steel Pannist in the world, still remains one of my best friends, best bandleaders. Surrounded by some of the great West Indian musicians while he was growing up, Einstein was destined. Credits include with his own band Sapadilla - "Don't Worry Be Happy", "Humanize the Earth", and "Hop on de Good Foot"; New Caribbean - "Calypso Reggae" and "Fire in de Area"; The Art of Sax -"So Easily"; Phase II Pan Groove -"79 is Mine"; Black Eyed Peas -"Karma"; Baby Rasta -"Cahuita Town"; and Len Boogsie Sharpe - "Fresh Air". Soundtracks include: Imax - "The Living Sea" and "Meet the Fockers" In 1979, Einstein Brown desired to play the steel pan at a higher level motivated him to join the Invaders Steel Orchestra and he was soon in demand to play with a number of steel bands including the Woodbrook Modernaires, who then went on to win the battle of the bands at Queen's Hall, Trinidad's equivalent of Carnegie Hall. Toward the end of 1979, he accepted an offer to play aboard a cruise ship,and immigrated to the U.S. in 1982.
