TMWT AU

Teenage Mutant Wizard Turtles

I had a thought and it became many thoughts, then I brainstormed with @lucatea and made a Wizarding World TMNT 2003 construct. here's some of the stuff we've figured out.

Houses: Raph-Griffindor, Leo-Slytherin, Mikey-Hufflepuff, and Donnie-Ravenclaw.

they are not happy about being in separate houses.

they are all 5th years (15 years old)

Raph is the shortest, then Mikey, then Leo, and Don is the tallest.

Raph and Don are twins.

Yokai were accepted as sentient magical beasts by the wizarding world and allowed to assimilate into their society. The bros are mutants posing as yokai so they can go to school.

Splinter was a wizard pre-mutation and is close friends with Hogwarts headmaster.

Raph is in Quittich.

Leo is in the dueling club. He used to be in Quittich as well, but the animosity that was created between him and Raph since they were on different teams caused him to quit.

Mikey is in a Muggle Study Club that studies muggle objects.

Don is in the book club and Potions Honor Society.

LH teaches potions. He is Don's fav teacher and Potions is his fav class.

Don ties his mask in bows, and Mikey cut his short. Don is made fun of by some Slytherins for tying his bows. He switches to knotted buns until Raph notices and bugs him for a week until Donnie tells him.

Raph directly deals with the problem with his fists, and gets a week's worth of Detention.

Leo indirectly deals with the problem, stealing the bullies' left shoes, scarves, and ties, and casting small curses on them from afar like "eat slugs" when they're in broom flying class.

Mikey is the most Magically gifted and helps Donnie with spells while Donnie will help Mikey with his other classes.

they all have sleepovers in the room of requirement when they miss each other.

they all love Hagrids classes.

they wear their masks in all but Snape's class cause he makes them take them off, then he can't tell which one is which.

leo is colorblind and can only see yellows and blues.

they all do their laundry together and have banned Leo from separating out the clothes cause he'll accidentally steal Donnie's ties or give Mikey's scarf to Raph.

by the yokai dress code, they are not required to wear pants (I also made their legs weirdly styled and it would be awkward for them to try wearing pants.)

Leo follows the dress code exactly, Donnie does mostly, but he doesn't wear a tie (it's uncomfy), Mikey wears his tie, but will usually wear a vest instead of robes, and Raph doesn't wear his robes or tie (and gets in trouble for it a lot.)

Shredder is an Utrom that harnessed the power of a dark wizard.

once the Yokai are more assimilated, the Triceraton invasion happens, looking for the Fugitoid (who Donnie was harboring.)

the Triceratons capture Donnie and use the Crucio curse to try to get him to give up Honeycutt. (idk why the dinos have magic, they just do.)

Don accidentally created a combustion potion in LHs class one time... he now makes it regularly and carries them around with him.
