More aquatic up:Beginning of the Wrabs for @the6planet8ofbats
Tumblr media
The early thallasocene - 101 Million Years After Post Establishment
This not hamsters paradise,for @the6planet8ofbats
Like rattiles (a clade of ectothermic hamsters descended from surface molrocks) by @tribbetherium A group of bats become https:/en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcination meaning crab-like body plan called Warbs are descended from some bats called Molarchs are into Pikabats like Molemice from by @tribbetherium become various different groups
Tumblr media
Warbs is actually just an example of Carcinazation, which is known tobbe mammals, perhaps no arthropods. Like most mammals (Except Monotromes and Allotheres like Gondwanatheres or Multituberculates) reproduced by giving birth. Warbs become losing patagium, one of the few bat lineages of this Planet not have patagium.
Tumblr media
But Warbs have hunters, examples like invertebrate Goliath Warbeater (Spiroteutholimax goliath) like Goliath screwhorn (Spiroteuthocochleus giganteus) by @tribbetherium and Two red-striped magicirill (Magocanaus dirhodostripus) is a krill
A vertebrate is omnivore, but only eating animals are Warbs a cetacean named Poultry porpoise (Galloenus omnivorus) much like earth's chickens or other Poultry like a Guineafowl
Whetever or not??? This decision is entirely up to you!!!! ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️👏👏👏👏👏👏

Top 10 Internet spec evo projects go
1 Serina: a natural history of the world of birds https://sites.google.com/site/worldofserina/home
2 hamster’s paradise (here on tumblr!) https://www.tumblr.com/tribbetherium
3 the Speculative Dinosaur project (alas, only locatable on the speculative evolution fandom wiki) Projecthttps://speculativeevolution.fandom.com/wiki/Speculative_Dinosaur_Project
4 the birgworld project (also on tumblr!) https://iguanodont.tumblr.com
5 exobiotica (again! Can be found on tumblr!) https://exobiotica.tumblr.com
6 the sea of polinices (warning: you may die from bafflement) https://www.deviantart.com/doublejota
7 Snaiad: life on another world http://www.cmkosemen.com/snaiad_web/snduterus.html
8 the Birrin Project by Alex Ries https://abiogenesis.artstation.com/albums/738860
9 the realistic pokemon of RJ Palmer https://www.rj-palmer.com/realistic-pokemon
10 The project that you have yet to create! 😄😄😄
Please note that these are most DEFINITELY not ranked; I personally love them all, but you may rank them if you wish. (But only if you are a cold-hearted person with no soul).
…BUT if you twist my arm, I would say Serina, Hamster’s paradise and the birgworld project are the best for OCs and cool storylines on the level of individuals, whereas Snaiad and Birrin are more into generation-spanning, historical sagas. However, all have plenty of detail in regard to biology and evolutionary history.

Just stumbled upon your Athyrmagaia project and it's really interesting to say the least!
A few questions tho:
1.) How long can the individual segments survive separated from each other? If say, a predator catches one of the zooids but the rest escapes, will they eventually die?
2.) How conscious are the non-head segments? Do they have minds of their own even if the head does all the thinking?
3.) I noticed your art of the Gore Child (which @tribbetherium did a great fanart of btw!) has the second segment also developing eyes. This seems to be an abnormal case but are there any species that *normally* grow eyes on their non-head segments?
4.) Do all the species always combine in groups of four? Are there any clades that have modular adults with say, three or five members normally? Could the opposite of a Gore Child happen where instead of being forced to adapt with too few segments it accidentally ends up with too many segments?
Thanks so much for your interest! I'll happily answer some questions.
It really depends on which zooid. If the cranial zooid is destroyed or otherwise unretrievable, the rest of the body is basically lobotomized until it either starves to death or is picked off by another predator. If one of the body zooids is lost rathe than the head, however, the organism will have issues with digesting food, since each zooid houses a specialized region of the composite digestive system.
The body zooids have a very rudimentary automaton-like consciousness that only activates when they are separated from the rest of the composite. Just enough to be capable of standing and walking to reflexively attempt to re-retrieve the head. As soon as the head is reattached, however, the rest of the zooids lose all independence.
Not so far! With a normally developed Athyrmatherian the eyes form exclusively on the cranial zooid. The "skulls" of the other zooids are basically just flattened into crescent-shaped support structures, so there would hardly be room for eyes at all (as you can see with how the gore child's supernumerary eyes bulge out of their sockets)
Four segments are the gold standard for the specific Athyrmatherian clade that contains Tagmatasauria and Eauthyrmatheria, though I imagine that there would have been a whole lot of experimentation with different numbers of segments earlier on in Athyrmatherian evolution. The most basal forms from the Neocarbonic resembled anaconda-sized centipedes, and even within the modern four-segmented clade there are a few secondarily three-segmented forms. I'm also considering having extant members of an older branch that evolved a two-segmented bauplan. I can maybe imagine accidental 5-segmented individuals developing, but that would be exceedingly rare. In most cases, a fifth larvae/fetus will remain separate to become either a paedomorph (as is the case for polycarnivorans) or an amorphous globosus that serves as food for the other composite offspring.

Tridentia: A History of the Planet of Sharkbirds Part 1: Colonization
0 YPE (Years Post Establishment)
On a soon to be colonize planet named Tridentia, a microorganism by the name of Tempubacter had made portals to this world, when the Trident-tooth Sandslinker was around, and this microorganism has transported, the Lichenic Novarthropleuras, Vortexicochlea minor, Yellowfin Sapperels, Coastal Kudzu Beetles, Sand Barrelbuds, Tanglethorn Spikehedges, Butterfly Apples, and the only vertebrate itself, the Trident-tooth Sandslinkers, and for the next 100 or so million years life would evolve and adapt on Tridentia.
Credit to @tribbetherium, @Sharoviman-Seed-world-Specevo, Sheather888, and The Pikamence for their creatures and plants.

The Unusual Tropical Mountains of Western Gavet:The Mounsummerer
İn the Early Terocene,Some Descendants of Epaulette Sharks become adapted Freshwater Enviroments, this Sharks are called Freshwater Carpet Sharks (Suborder:Potamoscylioformia) a suborder of Carpet sharks. A one Family of this suborder become extremophiles, the Extremesharks (Family:Extremophiliocarcharidae) really interesting Family have 1 Genera and 9 Known Species, one of the 9 Species lived in Cloud Forests of Western Gavet, the Mounsummerer also known as Western Gavetian extremeshark (Extremophiliocarcharus hesperogavetiensia)
Tumblr media
Mounsummerers are one of the Unusual sharks in the Planet of bats ever, because have a organ named "Pseudosyrinx" much like Syrinx of Birds,Pseudosyrinx are only found in Many Freshwater Carpet Sharks,But Basal members of Potamoscylioformians are not have this organ.
This species of Potamoscylioformian eat mainly Sea-peppers (Family:Capsicomimaceae) a family of flowering Plants convergent with Chili peppers,Sea Lily-like Teratopotamaceae,Sea Snugs and Flesh or carcasses of Predatory Fingillas (Smilocaninovesper fingillis) is a species of Dog-like Tera bat endemic in this Forests and are apex predators of cloud Forests of Western Gavet Mountain Range. Mounsummerers are one of preys of many predators like Red-mouthed Heronauk (Laripinguinotherium rhodognathus) a small species of Aviopteran related Larger relatives to Cloud Forest Terribaroo (Terribilomacropodus silvagenitus) is a species of Mesopredatory Two-legged Tera bat hunted by Fingillas. But Cloud Forests of Western Gavet Mountain Range only not have Plants,Fligthless bats and Sharks,a species of Small bat are macaw-like species... This is a Yellow Eared Treebat (Xylovesper aurantiorhinus)....
Tumblr media
This is a member of Gavetian Leaf-tongued bats (Family:Phyllolinguovesperidae) are one of diverse Famillies of Mammals of Planet Of Bats ever to exist,Yellow Eared Treebats are in the Macawbat Subfamily (Aravesperinae) and Treebat Tribe (Xylovesperini) and a species of Genus Xylovesper meaning "Wood Bat" and finally, every animal is very Unusual!!!
Kingdom:Animalia
Phylum:Chordata
Subphyla:Vertebrata
Class:Mammalia
Superorder:Glirovesperia (Rodbats)
Order:Ptoridentia (Ptorident Bats)
Suborder:Xylovesperomorpha
Superfamily:Phyllolinguovesperidea
Family: Phyllolinguovesperidae
Subfamily: Aravesperinae
Tribe: Xylovesperini

Fan art of @tribbetherium ‘s Hamster’s Paradise, all credit to him!
A sighted descendant of Vulpemouser’s which evolved to exist near the higher levels of the Sub-Arcuterran Cavern System., the “Grassvulpe” has evolved several simple eyes from light sensitive spots to detect when it was too close to the surface. It has become a major predator of the grasslands after the major mass extinction that ended the Temperocene. They have re-evolved some degree of thermoregulation and a sparse coat of plumage evolved from their whiskers. This individual is about the size of a wolf. (Based off a dream I had that Tribbetherium released a sudden sneakpeek of the new Mouseozoic, and it included a terrestrial daggoth, I was inspired enough to put it to art!)

What's the bit about Amber keeping spec-evo animals as pets? That sounds interesting given it's Spectember!
Uh, I'm assuming you're talking about my fic series?
Well, I'll admit, Amber isn't the one doing that, it's Skylie summoning spec evo animals from various projects and keeping them as pets.
Here's a small list of animals she keeps, mostly long-time pets:
A Pterowrist from @tribbetherium's Hamster's Paradise, specifically a female
A buncha various smaller Tribbetheres from Serina
Some fish from Polinices (A world with weird fish-lookalikes and radio-using sponges) in a tank she built
Some smaller species from Snaiad
And nivoraptors, a species Madly Mesozoic on YouTube made for a video about Deinonychus surviving the Ice Age
She'd probably have gifted Amber a spec evo pet though!
