Spent the past few days up in Boston for my cousin Maggie's wedding. Got to re-unite with all the cousins for the first time in years and was able to make time to visit Salem and Boston. Through all this I can't help but reflect on the comparison between the ways in which women's rights and autonomy was under attack in 1692 and the ways in which millions of women and members of the LGBTQ community are still at risk of losing their rights.
