I finished season 1 of Outer Banks today because I've seen you post about it and I did not expect to be this emotionally invested in JJ Maybank's happiness so thank you for that :)

I feel like I should say both 'you're welcome' and 'I'm sorry', haha.

I'll be honest with you though, starting the show I didn't expect to become so emotionally invested in JJ — specifically his happiness — either which is hilarious to me because he's so very clearly my kind of character. Now he's probably my number one character in the show :)

Anyway, I hope if you continue to watch the show, you enjoy your time watching and that the JJ content satisfies <3

Is there a time limit for how recent/long ago a fic had to be published? I wrote a couple fics last March and April and I don't know if that was too long ago to be nominated. It's cool that you are doing this though :)

There is. A fanfic/art can only be nominated if it was published after SEPTEMBER 20, 2016. Anything published before that can only be nominated in the 3rd and last round of the CCAs in the second semester.

It’s important to pay attention to the publishing date of the fic/art, because that is what will be considered. NOT the update date.

There is an exception. The nomination for the Best Series category can be a series started before Sept. 20, as long as at least one of the fics was published AFTER that date.

For any other doubt, make sure to check our comprehensive rules page or the specific selection rules page. If you feel like you still have questions, feel free to ask!

There are two different skin tone settings btw! For the B&W, you've got a light or dark base, and then no filter, dark filter, and light filter.

dark-none -> dark-dark -> dark-light

light-none -> light-dark -> light-light
