Day 12: Niche Interest. Hello Amulet fans 😌 might draw him or other Amulet characters again one day. I love how expressive this lil freak is. Freak is a affectionate term ✨

I've been having some serious Amulet brainrot lately, so I wanted to draw a little to get the energy out. I was honestly never the biggest fan of the character designs later in the series, particularly in regard to their outfits. So I decided to do a re-design of Trellis from book six onward.

It looks vaguely similar to his design in the later books, but I decided to change up the colors and make the vest more fitted. I felt like it fit the princely vibe, seeing as he's the prince of the elves. I wanted the colors on his outfit to mesh well with his unusual hair color and skin tone, as well as the color of his amulet. I also threw on a cape to try and achieve that princely look, and also, I just think capes look cool. But most importantly, I wanted to bring the sword back! I thought his sword was an awesome weapon to use alongside his amulet, and I lament the fact that we haven't seen the sword in literal years.

Might do Emily next. Or not. We'll see.
