I consider all things a phase - especially in my own life - I had a psychiatrist describe my depression once as “waxing and waning” - that I could never get rid of it entirely - very life affirming I’d say - so if a dog has a negative thing going on I try to not freak out too bad because it’s probably going to change over time - either get better, get worse, disappear - or stay the same - like I tend to become obsessed with something - that’s all I’m interested in - especially with food - I can’t imagine not living that thing in a major way - and then one day I wake up and it actually makes me nauseous- I can’t imagine ever eating that food - but the. Six months later - son Of a gun - I that food tastes good again - catching treats for Murphy is proving to be pretty helpful - sometimes he has a problem@with proximity - so building a relationship without proximity can be difficult - tonight I was having pancakes and Murphy would not take a piece of pancake from my hand, he wouldn’t take a piece if I put it on the exge@of the table - but he would take a piece if I threw it - so that’s what I did - I’d rather do what a dog feels comfortable with than force them to do what is In Some dog trainers paradigm - especially since a dog trainer has already failed Murphy so spectacularly by putting a shock and prong collar on him for his first 8 months of life #murphythepoodle #catchingtreats #treatcatcher #gooddog #poodlesofinstagram #bubbythebichon #bichonfrise #halifax #novascotia #dogkisserinternationalheadquarters (at Dogkisser International Headquarters) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBMukoSnvh2/?igshid=vsdffgrw21wh
