Drowning. It was quite the description. Remy hadn’t any idea it was possible – not only to drown in silence, but that the type of silence between them even existed. It was painful. There was a pressure in her chest that rarely seemed to lift anymore. Every ounce of her ached for him, for them, for life before Talon’s death. There was no love lost between the tiny blonde and the older male, but she’d never wanted to see him hurt or dead. When it all blew up, Remy believed they could do this… they could do this. She was foolish enough to think she’d be by his side, foolish enough to think he’d still confide in her, foolish enough to believe that raw honesty wouldn’t fade into nothingness… silence. They promised to always talk. What happened to that? What happened to her husband? A large part of her yearned to reach soft fingers forward and touch him – his hand, his cheek, his hair… something, anything, just to have that closeness and intimacy. It wasn’t about sex. Sex was easy, something simple they still fell into at times. But intimacy, vulnerability, that felt like it was just out of her grasp. The further it fell away, the more desperate she felt internally to get it back.
Quiet words formed from his lips. Eyes snapped up, unable to hide her surprise and pain at his words. It had her draw further back as if she were stung… and she was, in a sense. He wanted her to drown? He wanted them to drown?
Now she did what was typical of her when she wanted to think and process and understand… Remy paced. It was somewhat slow and without a distinct rhythm – as if her mind would interrupt the drop of a step and then she’d restart. I don’t know what you want from me, Rem. Internally, she was screaming, screaming at him to ask how he could possibly not know. But she didn’t raise her voice. Instead, she deflated a little. Smoking. It was a terrible habit she caught from the club – not just him but many others. Fingers grasped the pack, drawing one free, but merely holding it. Shoulders slumped, “I’m trying my hardest, too,” she barely breathed the words. “I don’t always do the right thing,” she paused, knowing well her little karaoke scene a couple weeks ago was overboard, “but I do try.” Eyes couldn’t much lift past the unlit cigarette, like her subconscious debated taking it to her lips while her more conscious mind wasn’t much aware of it. “We made promises – and I don’t just mean our vows. I told you… I told you…” she started to lift her gaze as if to hesitantly peek at him, almost afraid of what his features would say, “I’m all in, but I need to know everything. A relationship can’t survive with secrets… I don’t think I can survive with secrets. Love me enough to grab my hand and pull me out of the water. I’m out of ways to show you I’m all in, that you can fully trust me. You have all of me, nothing hidden. But I don’t have all of you.”

As it was getting closer to the morning of Christmas, he was fully aware of the last and final gift he wanted to purchase for Vanessa. The challenge of it all would be finding the time in order to get it, especially since he was trying to spend this holiday break with her. Their time together was often limited because of the job he was in. Yawning as he stood in the kitchen, watching as his coffee began to brew and turning around when he heard the faint sounds of Vanessa coming to join him. “Good morning. Is there anything you wanted to do today?”

iona was freaking out, she’d just found out that she was pregnant and she had no idea what to do about it. this wasn’t meant to happen, she wasn’t ready to be a parent, she could barely look after herself, let alone another human being.
she decided to turn up to the others place, they’d been the only one she’d been sleeping with, regularly. running a hand through her blonde hair, she looks at them, “we need to talk”.

" i'm really not in the mood today," melody warns the other, warm brown hues rolling to the back of her head at the mere sight of the other. to say today had been a bad day would probably be an understatement. of all living creatures, cristiano was the last person she wanted to see.

He smirked, “ It must be hard with your sense of direction, never being able to find your way to a decent pickup line. ”

inspired by fuck up the friendship by leah kate | @trcshy !
–––––––––HE’S EXHAUSTED WITH the back and forth. there’s a tension between the two, a tension that doesn’t seem to subside, only made more intense whenever there’s even a hint at something more. charlie doesn’t play around, doesn’t like to play around, and this has gone on a bit too long for his comfort. he’s quick to pull the other to the side, smirk in hand. ‘ let's fuck up the friendship. baby, cut the tension. ’

the girl was silent as she listened to them, her mind obviously not interested in their conversation but she continued to smiled. she needed to tell them, she had to say something but she couldn’t. nodding her head along to their story about what happened throughout their holiday break with their family. her silence is eventually broken when the conversation is flipped. “yeah, no i had so much fun.” she gave her best fake laugh. “honestly, time flew by so fast.”

After having been on the run for the past year and a half, Harry had missed so much, having decided to help the cops so he could escape the life he’d been in. His business was taken down, his partners arrested and the people closest to him either disappeared or were also on the run. But the decision that he couldn’t get over was leaving his pregnant girlfriend behind; the only thing that had kept him going had been the videos she’d send with updates one a month and those videos had honestly kept him going through the entire investigation.
Still it was the moment of relief walking back into his home which he’d signed over to her along with all of his other assets before all hell broke loose. It was dark and he could tell where some objects had been taken but overall it looked the same. A soft cry could be heard in one of the rooms and that feelin of longing finally came to the surface, he had a child in the world and it would be the first time he’d ever get to see her with his own two eyes.
As he entered the room, there was the small five month old girl that had her mother sending videos of her crying as she didn’t know what to do. He could understand how hard it must have been to do this alone, but he was here now and promised to do right by his family. As he picked up the child she immediately stopped crying but Harry stiffened as the light to the room turned on.

Emma breathed out slowly, a soft waver underneath that was nearly imperceptible. She could feel it, though, that unsteady hint of a sensation deep in her chest, unaware if it even made a sound. Eyes flickered around the room, as they did with her from time to time when those cascading thoughts and emotions wanted to bubble to the surface. They landed back to Noah, memories trickled into her mind of those moments they shared as children. He was the only soul in the world that could ever possibly comprehend, enduring it alongside her until their fathers separated them. A hand lifted, tucked dark hair behind her ear as she sat on the floor. It was something she was working on with a therapist, but there were still times she felt better there, perhaps safer, in some strange and twisted sense. Eyes watched as Noah signed, mulling over the, likely, rhetorical question. Was that the case? Was it true? Fingers reached tentatively for a moment, as if to let a touch land on his arm or calf in an offer of comfort, but she hesitated and drew back again. Years of therapy, and still, yet, there was much to work through, adjust, and learn - years of trained reaction and behaviors to be erased, if that was possible.
Signing, she glanced down then up towards him, “Are we?” she asked with the familiar bit of tentativeness in her features that was less palpable than it used to be but clearly visible, nonetheless. “If it still haunts us... invades our sleep...” Brows furrowed, eyes narrowing slightly as her face scrunched a bit with the sting of the past pains, and as quickly as it filled her soft face, she shook it off. Her eyes relaxed, expression drawing more neutral, “Sorry... I get too...” pausing, she tapped her fingers to her head to signal she got too lost in there sometimes. Apologizing. That was habit, essentially. After all, it was a slight defense, at times, against her step-father. “I get ... waves of memories ... puzzle pieces,” she tried to explain. Though, there were plenty of times all she had to do was focus on that glimpse of memory and more would flood back. It was hard to say which was worse - the memories that would partly or mostly piece togethers or the ones where she was stuck with just that small section.

It was very surreal to Avery that she was spending jessie and her were sharing their first christmas together. To say that she went overboard on the gifts was an understatement, not that he needed to be made aware of that. He could see everything for himself on the morning of. For now, she was finishing up with the final touches of her make up as they planned to go out and check out the Christmas market downtown. It was supposed to have ice skating, hot chocolate, food vendors, and plenty of decorations for sale. Leaning against the sink as she applied her mascara, hearing the other question how much longer she would be as she laughed. “Five more minutes, I swear!”

“I’ve changed my mind.” Eloise spoke as she heard Noah’s footsteps. “I don’t want to go, I have nothing to wear.” Her silk robe was barely tied around her and she signed loudly. “And as lovely as being naked is, it’s apparently frowned upon to go out in public like that.”

@trcshy - liked for a starter! inspired by this plot!
--
Things were complicated and confusing more than ever before in her life. Everly had wanted to be a singer, to share her music with the world and simply express herself. How she ended up as a waitress at a music club, flirting with a singer, sleeping with the singer for the few nights they’d been in town...and then getting pregnant on complete and total accident?! Well things were messy! But they weren’t official and sure maybe she enjoyed him more than she should have... Which is why she told him the truth because even if he was famous and everything she didn’t want their kid to grow up not knowing. Not to mention she wasn’t that type of girl but... she also wasn’t expecting anything of him. At all. So when she was finished with her shift for the night she had come out of the bathroom, dressed up nicely since she was going out for a late dinner with a guy she’d met a few weeks back. She wasn’t showing just yet but in certain lights and at certain angles she sort-of did. Regardless she wasn’t going to let this dampen her social life for now so she was surprised when she walked out and saw him there. The question of her looking nice had the girl answering honestly without thought. “I have a date.” She cringed with her smile and she awkwardly tugged her jacket around her to cover her up. “I...thought you weren’t going to be around tonight.” She adds softly.

@trcshy 2/? long fingers are tracing absent patterns on the brunette's skin, committing every curve to memory as aiden breathes in the closeness of her. "you know, i have been thinking," the male whispers, daring to break the comfortable silence that settles between them. "maybe we should finally pick a date for the wedding."
