Switzerland to Scotland -- day 1 Thun-le Landeron

I didn’t sleep much last night, between captivating fanfics, fighting cats and stress… It’s the first time I leave my house for over 3 weeks and that’s stressing me a bit. I feel like I��m leaving into the blue, with no idea what to expect. But I’m confident that everything will be just fine, or at least that’s what I keep telling everyone, myself included. I’m not leaving for another world, after all. If anything wad to happen, I could be home in less than a day.

The road to le Landeron was fine, with only a few hickups, but nothing serious. I had some trouble finding a shop to buy something to eat and by the time I found one, I was trembling all over from the lack of sugar (or at least, that’s how I interpreted the trembling… ), so I followed my best friend’s advice and bought some hrape sugar, to be prepared, should I lack sugar again. The other small problem I had, was that I had underestimated the weight of my luggage, which I noticed clearly while going up the first time. At one point near Bern (the one in my profile picture) I barely managed to oush it uphill. When I arrived, my grandparents welcomed me with a lot of joy and pride and even more (not necessarily always needed nor desired) advice.
