"Free and Naked in Nature – Lido di Dante - Classe, July 2024"

"The closeness to nature is always liberating, and the experience becomes even more intense when I can fully embrace the freedom of being naked. These photos were taken in July this year, between Lido di Dante and Classe, in the Po Delta National Park, where the untouched beauty of nature meets the harmony of nudity. (Luckily, I wasn’t completely alone – a few other hikers 'accidentally' saw me, and I 'didn’t notice' that they took a few photos as well...)

I’d love for more people to share in this experience. If you like my photos, please feel free to share them wherever you can! I fully support it, and it would bring me great joy to see them spread far and wide! 🌿🌞

Sculpture of Padre Antonio José Martínez in Taos Plaza. Martínez was born in Abiquiu in 1793. He became a parish priest in Taos in the 1820s. He witnessed the tumultuous transition from Spanish colony to Mexican territory to American territory. In terrms of work drama, Martínez went head to head with Archbishop Lamy. Evidently, Lamy didn't appreciate Martínez' criticism, because he excommunicated him in 1858.

I am not sure who put a pumpkin (or gourd) on his head. Wasn't me.

Elizabethtown’s heyday was short-lived and intense. The post office opened early in the summer of 1868. There were 3,000 men working gold claims within one year. Prospectors built cabins on top of, or adjacent to, their mines. There were a couple of hotels, five stores, seven saloons, a brewery, three dance halls, two churches, a school, a flour depot, and a drugstore by 1869. The saloons boasted dance floors, gaming tables, and bars that were 100-200 feet long.

Last year, I stumbled upon a charming breakfast nook in Boston. From its window, I could admire the street adorned with the vibrant colors of autumn leaves. 🍂🍁 Such a perfect start to the day, surrounded by the beauty of fall.
