The monastery is located 10 kilometres to the north of Paro and hangs on a precarious cliff at 3,120 metres (10,240 ft), about 900 metres (3,000 ft) above Paro valley on the right side of the Paro Chu. On this path, a large water fall, which drops by 60 metres (200 ft) into a sacred pool, is forded over by a bridge. Out of the eight caves, four are comparatively easy to access. When I'm in Kenya, you will find me sitting in a tailor or seamstress shop chatting it up and low key asking when my stuff will be ready 👀. This was two years ago and I was sitting in one of my tailor's shops and I am not sure what was being said but clearly Omondi found me very amusing 😄. (Sidenote: I'm a riot). I imagine it was me talking about how I loved the fabric and how I should keep it for myself. The struggle with this business is loving all the items and trying not to keep everything for yourself. (Other side note: this a daily battle with my husband.) I spoke to my other tailor Ben a couple of weeks ago about our new collection ("Black") and asked about Omondi and the rest of the crew. Business to me is first and foremost about relationships and that why is customer service is at the top of my list always. Have all of our bags been perfect? Absolutely not! Has our customer service been perfect? I would say yes. I strive for perfect service in every encounter because relationships are important to me.
