This is the picture that inspired my latest fic. Chaosverse, you're single-handedly responsible for making me love Yoichi/Third, and love Villain Yoichi even more.

WOW THIS ONE WAS HARD TO DO. that being said though i LOVE how this came out and holy crap i can actually shade metal you guys since when was that a thing

Super Vent! he doesnt have a fancy name yet. or at least not one that doesnt sound very silly. Unlimited Vent? [sonic colours voice] UNLIMITED COLOUR yeah no.

as an android, Vent already runs off of chaos energy-- either an artificial emerald or the real deal, depending. he does have a built-in limiter that caps how much power he can draw out of it, though, which was installed after he was recovered by GUN; with his limiter on, Vent is restricted in how much he can transform (something something uses chaos energy to create extra mass i dunno), but also it prevents him from overloading himself and shorting out his systems or worse.

with all seven chaos emeralds, Vent would literally become unstoppable... while also at extreme risk of destroying himself and everything in a five mile radius. it would very much be a last-resort sort of thing, like if somehow Vent with his limiter disabled still wasn’t enough to face whatever threat.

out of the three super forms ive drawn so far, this one can actually happen in Chaosverse canon! i dont know if it WOULD, because Vent is pretty OP as-is, but it’s a possibility!

some fun trivia: his colour scheme and quill shape is based off some art of him from 2014! he also has some copied bits from various other characters: Aile’s arms, Tails’s hand cannon, Brooke’s legs, and also wings! wing jets. something. Vent is able to fly even in his normal form, but i’ve just never drawn his wings until now. unidentified flying bastard

@chaosverse-mainblog @misterah13 AND DONE! Ladies and Gentlemen (and non-binaries), I present to you, the Official Render of Xena’s true form, drawn and updated for the first time since May 2023!

Here are some headcanons about this form and the things I added to it:

Xena doesn’t like to show people this form because it might scare them away and this leads to her being in her normal form a lot of the time. The only people/characters that see her in this form are Keith, Maya and the Sonic gang because she trusts them enough to feel comfortable in her true form.

Inspired by both the canon EXE by Raven and my Fem EXE Retake, Xena’s quill tips now leak and are stained with anti-matter.

Xena is taller in this form, half of the height of the normal form. She’s definitely smug about being taller than Sonic, Call/Chaosverse actually did a mini comic about it.

As you can see, Xena has crystallized eyebrows and ears. Originally, it was only the eyebrows that were crystallized, but I figured it would be more cool if she had more. And the tip of her tail is also crystallized (putting it here because you can’t see it)

The crystallization could also be a reference to the original concepts I drew for who would become Xenatia, which were FNF Concepts for a Xenophanes type character.

Probably has reality altering powers but doesn’t really use them much except for pranks on Sonic and especially Eggman.

Xena also transforms into her true form if she gets upset, and she usually cries blood.

ive been chipping away at this for a few days now and uh. okay so there was a genre of fic i used to be really into that was basically “the author and their friends gets kidnapped by eggman and brought to sonic’s world and turned into mobians and have to escape and find a way home” and i always wanted to write my own version of it. and sometimes you need to chase that dream right into the sun

so here’s the basic lineup! i guess for this im going with the idea of the “two worlds” thing in Sonic X that apparently is games canon now, so its not like they know Everything Ever From Having Played The Sonic Games but just. already exist in that universe? but lived on earth until getting dragged over to mobius and transformed. i dunno! this also isnt canon to Chaosverse at all (mainly because CV doesn’t run off the two worlds theory at all), its just a fun thing im doin

some quick bios:

Ike / Vertigo the Cat: 17, they/them, daydreamer, is the “jumped at the call” sort of person and doesn’t so much take the situation in stride as they grab it and run with it. has wings for some reason? they can fly! and are also pretty adept with chaos powers for having once been human. doesnt really want to go home because theyre having a lot more fun on mobius

Leo / Sol the Anomaly: 18, he/him, actually a maned wolf but thought “the Anomaly” sounded cool. (technically all three of them get called “the anomaly” but Sol’s the only one that claims it as “yeah im this now”) team leader, tries very hard to keep his shit together, bit overwhelmed by everything. gets re-kidnapped along with the other three at some point and gets partially roboticized before getting rescued, but gets cool technopathy-ish powers out of the deal. colourscheme may change because i had a lot of trouble with it (originally it was just Leo’s fursona’s palette, hence the name “Sol”, but i wanted it to look more like his human form for consistency with the other two)

Pat / Ricky the Android: 16, they/them, theyre a moth! because of course Pat’s character is an android. they’re the same type of android as Vent from Chaosverse, so they’ve got liquid metal shapeshifting going on. Made Of Anxiety.

it was really fun designing all three, although figuring out colours (especially for Sol) was pretty difficult and i really didnt want to get too complicated with markings. but i think im pretty happy with this?
