#transferred the flour into sealed plastic and glass containers in case of rice weevils

last night I dumpstered some bruised apples and a big tub of mixed nuts.

today I waved my kitchen wand over them and now I have full jars of applesauce and mixed nut butter. magic. magic snacks.

mmmmm. for some reason I don’t always really like eating nuts, but I do love me some cashew+almond+hazelnut+pistachio+walnut butter.

it was bonkers cold last night but I’m glad I went. I also acquired a bunch of other fruits and veggies, tomato basil bread, assorted bagels, and all-purpose flour. once again contemplated a package of bacon but I just can’t bring myself to take meat. yet. maybe someday? maybe not. also encountered cans and cans of cannellini beans but they were all bulging, and that’s a dumpster no-no.
