Sometimes you have to take a step back in order to move forward. With less than 5 weeks left of training, hitting a physical wall isn’t ideal but it happens. #TEAMNODAYSOFF can take the day off 👋😼 YOU DON’T HAVE TO TRAIN HARD EVERYDAY TO BE IN SHAPE. ▫▫▫▫▫ Yes, training hard is required to get results but it doesn’t mean you can’t take periods of time off and still maintain your progress ☝😌! ▫▫▫▫▫ Today I was all motivated to workout and wanting to kill it…but I also felt like a big workout would exhaust me. ▫▫▫▫▫ So, I gave myself the benefit of the doubt and just made myself only complete one set of barbell squats at home. I went into my workout knowing I might not be up to par since I haven’t been consistently training this past month. ▫▫▫▫▫ I ended up doing 3 sets of a killer tri-set. Better than I set out to do… And even though it was a miniscule workout…I still showed up and did what I could…walking out with a win. 🏆 Had I expected a super intense leg day from myself I would have walked out disappointed. ▫▫▫▫▫ Sometimes letting yourself get small wins is better than failing or quitting. ▫▫▫▫▫ 💪#LiveForTodayWorkForTomorrow #TrainSmartNotHard 💥

Wrapping up LA Marathon training by testing my legs for one last long 20 mile run! Now, it’s time to taper with 10 days left to race day! This training cycle has definitely pushed me both mentally and physically. Beyond thankful for all the support during this incredible journey. The tough part is over and all we have left is the big day! #fitness #trainsmartnothard #howtodietduringtheholiday intermittent fasting is no joke and far from crash dieting. It's a full lifestyle change. Today I'm not eating until 8/9pm. My typical split Monday -Friday is 20hours fasting, 4hours eating. Saturday-Sunday is traditional 16hours fasting, 8 hours eating.
