#tragic love between Queenie and Kinger

Theory: Kinger was once focused on finding the exit or figuring out how the game/circus worked. He was likely obsessed because he wanted to free himself and Queenie from the digital realm.

In his obsession to get them out, he neglected Queenie which caused her abstraction.

Here’s why I think this:

Kinger and Pomni listening to dialogue of the husband in the haunted house. When the recording says his paranoia and obsession resulted in him unaliving his wife, We see Kinger looking sad. Pomni even notices the change here suddenly when she looks at Kinger.

Kinger also reveals he has experience in computer science which could lend itself to the theory that he had some part in creating the circus but not enough to know how to leave.

Kinger says he can’t remember what lead up to Queenie abstracting and ending up in the fort, but he then tells Pomni to hold onto the good memories and cherish them and that the worst thing you could do is “make someone feel unwanted or not loved”

But why would he say this if this wasn’t somehow connected to Queenie’s abstraction?

Additionally, before the reveal he tells Pomni he knows how scary and lost one can feel in this world. He understands Pomni’s feelings.

I believe Kinger gave up on an exit and solution the moment Queenie abstracted because it’s what led to her abstraction in the first place. Episode 3 gives subtle hints to support the theory but nothing explicit.

Last thing to note that has nothing to do with this theory specifically: Do we think Pomni was referring to Caine or to someone else when she said “He just wants me to suffer” because I don’t think it’s Caine.

Extreme Ep 3 Spoilers below cut!

♟️ Kinger lore analysis♟️

So uhhhh, last episode was a doozy- huh? I had always figured that Kinger had SOME kind of tragic past, but this is a lot more deep than I was expecting. The way he shows… grief was actually really unexpected for a YouTube show like this. So I’ve put together some other observations about his character that you might’ve missed

Common missed lore

1. Thinking

After Kinger and Pomni are thrown through the door, they enter a room in almost total darkness. Kinger than makes this… “odd” remark at first watch, but this is actually Kinger beginning to come into conciseness. He’s starting to “think” :,(

2. Jokes

This one made me more sad than the last. I believe that Kinger was remembering something he did in the circus that, while he had his memory loss ( and other things ) seemed like a joke to him. However, it likely turned out to be just a mush of Kinger language to the others. This could be how he views all his gibberish while in light.

3. Do I even have to say anything…

He sees his wife….

4. Even more conscious

Normally Kinger wouldn’t be this mindful. This is definitely the darkness taking more of an effect on him

5. Wrongs

Kinger seems to be extremely moved, and relating to this tape about the hunter shooting his wife. I think that Kinger, might somewhat, be at fault for Queenies death. I don’t think it’s as near as brutal as physical violence, but an argument between them could’ve been the cause.

6. Did he, make the circus…?

I completely understand skipping over this part, because his wife dying was definitely the more tragic topic here. But this right here basically confirms that Kinger had some part in creating the circus. It could also maybe be the reason he hasn’t abstracted, or maybe the reason his wife abstracted.

It was a photo finish for second place between this and ragapom! But Jax won in the end! I think his height gave him an advantage over Pomni

What happens when two girlfailures get together? You get THEM! I absolutely love their dynamic, and I can't wait to explore it in my own writing! (Including Caine in a poly also works surprisingly well)

4th GOOGLE!

I see you Zooble cultists! And I couldn't agree more! Zooble is peak enby energy and I absolutely love the idea of a stoic character having a cutsie girlfriend! It just makes my heart happy!

5th FUNNYGUMMY

Now THIS was a surprise! After episode 2, I thought people would be absolutely feral for this ship. Such potential for emotional depth...also because he's an anthro character with a deep voice.

6th NO ship fics!

While I do love writing shippy fics, It is nice to know that there is interest in my writing beyond that. I can write the characters just having fun or go to really dark places and explore complex emotions and relationships! We'll see what the future holds.

7th KINGER w/Queenie (CHECKMATES)

Poor Kinger...and it's such a tragic romantic love too. Guy just can't catch a break. I'll hug my Kinger plush extra tight, he needs to know he's loved.
