Very early in life, Peter Nureyev learns what it is to lose: to lose family, to lose the warmth of another, and to lose his very own existence. The cold has clung to Nureyev’s bones for decades. In a futile attempt to escape the chill, he buries his identity, and Peter Nureyev becomes that of the past.

Peter Nureyev is meant to be dead, but with the newly found warmth of another, Juno Steel, followed by a group of criminals on a high-steaks heist, his glacier begins to melt, and the boy beneath awakens.

I am so excited to announce that I was part of @penumbrabang season this year!! This was the second fic I was allowed to draw for in the pairings this year! (tune in tomorrow for the pieces from the first fic I was paired to)

I was so ecstatic when I got @scarlettrust 's fic Murder on the Atlas Unlimited because I absolutely adore Agatha Christie and the Poirot series of stories so much. And pair that with Juno Steel?! Whoo boy! I was over the moon when I got the message.

So please enjoy this scene from the end of the fic. I won't give spoilers but you'll be at the edge of your seat.

It's finally here! My Mini Bang Piece! @penumbrabang , I think this is my third year but I literally can't remember lol.

I will say the background was somehow the hardest for me to draw, which was just because I couldn't for the life of me find a reference for what I needed. Fun times.

So I had the lovely opportunity to participate in the @penumbrabang and work with a writer to illustrate their fic! Kris(@smalliinsaneone) was an absolute joy to collaborate with and it was such a fun process. The link above goes to their fic.

A/N: This is my fic for the @penumbrabang! It’s the longest fic I’ve ever finished and it’s going to be uploading chapter by chapter on odd numbered days in February. Special thanks to Ginnie PrivateBi for being such an excellent beta.

It’s finally complete!

So, over the last few months, I’ve been taking part in the Penumbra Mini Bang! I’ve been writing a Second Citadel fic set in the modern day, as a high school au with a twist - this time, they’re teachers! Read this fic if you’re into blissfully oblivious pining, cosy domestic fluff, painfully obscure references to my days at school and copious amounts of Lord of the Rings jokes!

“   Peter Nureyev, known to many as “The Angel”, escapes execution only to get caught up in the breaking of a curse. Buddy Aurinko turns into a wolf at night, while her wife Vespa is a hawk during the day, cursed never to see each other in human form again. The Board of Fresh Start’s power is growing as well, and both Peter and the two women who have saved his life are being hunted by Juno Steel, captain of the guards and Chancellor Rasbach’s right hand man. They are operating on a rapidly shortening timeline as well; something in the curse went wrong, and both Buddy and Vespa are deteriorating in different ways. Vespa is slowly losing her grip on reality, what is real and what is fake, and it’s getting harder and harder to find her way out of the hawk mind. Buddy’s body is slowly getting weaker and she finds it harder and harder to shift out of the wolf again when the sun rises. After a visit to an old friend when Vespa gets injured, they make a plan to break the curse the only way they can think of: Killing Rasbach. “
