Part 2

Alright, Part 1 is done and now we are on to Part 2-3. I would honestly consider that opening scene to be absolutely terrible in my opinion, which I would explain why here.

The Episode (Part 2)

The scene transitions to a village with the citizens chatting and holding umbrellas. Cube was seen, asking Cyan if he’s alright. Cyan, deep in thought, admits he’s been thinking about Cyanide, expressing his belief that she has the potential to become a hero if given the right encouragement.

Pauses the episode

Me: YEA RIGHT, RIGHT AFTER WHAT SHE PULLED OFF IN THE OPENING SCENE!!! I DON’T WANNA HEAR FROM YOU, CYAN! NOPE!

Continues the episode

Cube acknowledges Cyan's optimism, but also points out the uncertainty of Cyanide’s current whereabouts. As Cube wonders aloud if they’ll ever see her again, Cyanide suddenly appears, calling out Cyan’s name to him. Cyan swiftly flies up to Cyanide, positioned above the statue, and calls out her name, expressing that he had just been thinking about her. He then asks where she has been, to which Cyanide replies that she spent her time away deeply reflecting. Cyanide confesses that she wishes to embrace the role of the hero she was meant to be and no longer wants to cause harm to him or anyone else.

Pauses the episode

“But I do not want to be harmful to you or anyone else. : (“

Me: Well, she’s right on what she said here because Cyanide never “actively harm” any good shape. But, what do you really mean by that after you re-corrupt Circubit, YOU PIECE OF SH-

Acknowledging her resolve, Cyan informs Cyanide that he already has an idea for her but explains that he first needs to consult with the other Heroes to confirm his plan.

Pauses the episode

Me: Good lord… This is not gonna go well in the next part…

The next scene shows Tsavorite being very excited about Cyanide finally returning and says to Orange that he had doubted him. Orange responds to him that he was glad to be wrong because it was difficult for him to have hope at that time. Gold also tells Cyanide, "Welcome back", while smiling. Cyan asks the other Heroes that if they can uncorrupt Cyanide, which Tsavorite responds that he is certain about it, saying that all they need to do is zap her like other corrupts.

Pauses the episode

Me: I’m sorry, but I needed to take a moment to really consider this because I'm pissed by this: ALL OF YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO ME ON THIS! Throughout the entire conversation, it’s clear that Cyanide was never GODDAMN fully truthful with the Caretakers and Heroes. She blatantly avoided revealing who actually influenced her decision to pursue her so-called "desire to change." As I previously discussed with somebody else, I think was @malamilkbeats. This feels like a cop-out and is likely setting up something unnecessarily convoluted in Part 3.

Now imagine if the situation were reversed, and Iris, Pentellow, and Pyrare were present too here—especially Mr. Grape Dick Head, with his no-nonsense demeanor. Iris would have immediately interrogated Cyanide, as we’ve seen how his character fucking operates. In that scenario, Cyanide would have no choice but to admit who truly helped her embrace this desire for change, which will give her a higher percentage on her acceptance being refused by the others.

Her lack of honesty here is already pissing me the FUCK OFF!!!

Slams my damn fist onto my spacebar to continue the episode aggressively.

Gold tells Tsavorite that would not work because Cyanide is not your average corrupt and they need something a lot more powerful. Gold elaborates further, explaining that he had to use his portion of the Yellow Tree of Life's power to purify Pyrare in the past.

Me: Finally, SOMETHING interesting about this episode!

Continues the episode

As Tsavorite begins contemplating a solution, a sudden realization strikes him. Gasping, he excitedly announces to the other Heroes, that he will do the process. Without hesitation, Tsavorite grabs the other Heroes, and with Gold's assistance, equips them all with immunity armor to ensure their safety. Declaring their next course of action, Tsavorite announces that they are heading back to the Poly Forest. In a swift motion, he propels himself and the group toward their next destination.

Part 2 ends here.

Part 3

Alright, Part 2 is done and now we are on to Part 3. Alright, I already finish Part 3 video and I got to say, this has to be the way stupider then Cube going out of fucking character on the Cubic and Cyanide fight from Season 1, Episode 9.

The Episode (Part 3)

As the screen fades to black, the next scene transitions to the Pentagonal Forest in the Land of Pentagons, where the Heroes arrive at the Green Tree of Life's location. Tsavorite expresses his relief at seeing the land finally cleansed of corruption, to which Orange, smiling, agrees. Gold, however, quickly shifts the duo's focus, instructing Tsavorite to join him near the Green Tree of Life. When Tsavorite asks Gold for guidance, Gold explains that he needs to channel the tree’s power to purify Cyanide. Tsavorite responds confidently, remarking that the process sounds straightforward. As he begins channeling the Green Tree of Life’s energy, his triangle chest glows with power. Meanwhile, Cyanide nervously asks if the procedure will hurt. Gold reassures her, telling her there’s no need to worry.

Pauses the episode

Me: Ok so, I’ve seen people already discussing here that “Oh my god, Cyanide is gonna die!!! CYANIDE IS GONNA COMBUST INTO OBLITERATION!!!!" or something, but what’s gonna happen next is gonna be incredibly dumb in my opinion.

Continues the episode

As Tsavorite channels the energy, the tree releases a massive purification beam directed at Cyanide. However, the process have Cyanide experience an unexpected error, resulting in an explosion. Amid the aftermath, Cyanide’s robotic voice activates, announcing the installation of "EVOLVE_3"—a signal of her transformation into her fully mature form with a progress bar on her face. Because of this, Tsavorite quickly creates a green thin shield around the Heroes, saying to him what is happening, telling the others about Cyanide being more unusual then he thought. After the installation is completed, Cyanide is in her full mature form.

Pauses the episode

Me: So now were basically doing this premature shit with Cyanide now.... Ok.

Cyan, with a determined face, reassures Cyanide that he's going to save her as he zooms toward her. While zooming toward her, Cyanide tries to tell Cyan to run, but her "ATTACK MODE" starts to activate, presumably gonna start attacking Cyan.

Part 3 ends here while pausing the video

Me: I want to tell you guys something... The main reason why the opening scene falls flat, in my opinion, is that Circubit suddenly came back out of no where, while still controlling Circusic's body as a pure shape (somehow) and his vague and dumb advice to Cyanide serves as a shallow plot device to justify her sudden “desire to change” for the greater good. It literally propels her to return the Caretakers and Heroes (well most of them) to fully gain their trust, accompany them to the Green Tree of Life, and participate in this absolutely ridiculous purification process. ALL OF THIS builds up within Part 3 leads to a malfunctioning purification attempt, resulting in Cyanide’s premature transformation—a scenario eerily similar to Cyan’s experience in Season 1, Episode 2.

The Heroes didn’t even know what the fuck they were doing. Completely unprepared and reckless, why in gods name were they trying to fully cure an artificially created hero who is fundamentally tied to full corruption without proper consideration?!

Like, this is the just baffling and highly questionable on how fucking stupid can these Heroes be in this episode.... Let’s just have Tsavorite waste a piece of his Tree’s power on this ill-conceived attempt, only to trigger an improper evolution for Cyanide. What was nonsensically frustrating sequence to watch…

And have Cyanide go into "ATTACK MODE," potentially setting up a confrontation in the next part that could result of serious harm to Cyan—or worse.

If I had actual alcoholic beverages on my computer desk, I would be immensely drinking by now after watching this part... 😭😭😭

Hello, shapes of Tumblr! My name is Zone, I’m currently the “caretaker” (in quotes as no official bond has formed yet and I am simply working to see if I can form it) of Nightshade, a c-hero from Prismatia (for the record, I am from and currently reside in Hikan, the other island in the Paradise Archipelago with a Tree Of Life and also the origin island of the corruption). I was encouraged by both my wonderful boyfriend @lightspeedskates and my best friend Decep to make one of these blogs to interact with people and give updates on my bond.

He sorta bridges the gap between my two JSaB/TPC focused aus, which take place in the same universe just on two different islands (Prismatia is TPC:Synthesised, and Hikan is Cyanogen Syndrome)

Some lore tidbits that are probably important:

The corruption has existed for a lot longer in Hikan, and has basically become a part of the island’s ecosystem. It was also used as the blueprint for Prismatia’s corruption, which is far more volatile as it’s not natural and has yet to take any roots in the ecosystem (though the seeds have been planted for that thanks to Cyanide and the newly grown Pink Tree)

Nightshade is Barracuda’s attempt at a corrupt hero like Cyanide, they were slightly closer to being successful but ended up rebelling too. They have no caretaker as the Trees blocked any potential connection they could’ve had to Barracuda (not like he would’ve had one anyways lol), but when they met Zone they took an immediate liking to him, so he’s working with them.

Zone is a guitarist and singer/songwriter who plays his music in a local gay bar every Saturday. He’s also best friends with a deity! Why? You’ll find out (maybe)

Will probably try and give some sprinklings of Zone’s backstory here and there too >:)

They are genderless, and go by any pronouns. Except for It/Its. Void does not like It/Its pronouns.

OK AND NOW FOR LORE

Void was never accepted by his community. Xe were always seen as a threat. Whether it was that his creation was EXTREMELY rushed, and rather botched, but I think there was one thing that was the main cause. Y'know that triangle thing on every hero's chest that shows that "Hey, this little guy isn't gonna DESTROY THE WHOLE WORLD ONE DAY(/nsrs)?" Well, uhhhhh.... how do I explain this.

For void, her triangle wasn't even there. If anything, it was just an empty, upside down triangle shaped HOLE. YOU COULD PUT YOUR HAND THROUGH IT- /lh

They couldn't do anything a normal hero could. Purify the corruption? Nope. Mature? Guess what, he was born mature, for some weird reason. You get the idea.

Really, the only "Hero-like" traits Void had were flying, dashing, and getting broken into a bajillion pieces.

And Void's tree? IT VANISHED THE DAY AFTER HE WAS BORN. Nobody knows why. Some say that it died. Others say it was.. corrupted? Or just temporary? Nobody knows for sure.

Because of this, his community hated him. Not even his caretaker wanted xem. If anything, his community was SCARED OF HIM. Like they were gonna kill everybody one day. (Which of course wasn't gonna happen, but still) Void ended up getting exiled from her community, the main reasons being bullshit lies that "IT won't a REAL HERO! What good could IT do to our community other than be some sort of weird, broken support animal?" And so forth.

And being exiled and hated by their community at an early age was not very good for Void.

Xe ended up having to learn how to survive on their own, retreating to a small cave for shelter. They grew a "Tough-Guy" exterior, not trusting and attacking anybody that genuinely wanted to see xem, and care for xem. This ended up making Void's community hate him even MORE. Also, on an unrelated note, Void learned how to make Darkness, LITERAL SHADOWS, into physical weapons. Void often used them to make artificial "hands" for herself, since her tree didn't give xem any. That has been his weapon ever since.

...Backtracking a bit, Void was created three years after Cyan was born, with two other heroes also being born in the years between. Soon after Void was exiled by their community, xe ended up finding out about the Trees of Life, other caretakers, and other heroes. More specifically, Cyan. Perfect Cyan. Loved and Cherished. Void hated it. Void wanted to be like Cyan, and he wanted Cyan to be gone. Specifically Cyan. Void wanted to have the fame Cyan had.

So...

With Void living close (Location-Wise) to their community, and their community being close to the Trees of Life..

Well, Dub had already taken Cyan's tree, and the others were too hard to nab. So.. Void ended up going after the "Easiest Target" in his eyes.

The Green Tree. Tsavorite's tree. It was the only one that wouldn't kill him if he took it's power. So why not?

Anything to have the same fame as Cyan.

also forced another half-baked child to save the world (which he only could temporarily), also gave him a shitton of unstable power so that he could do so, thus sending him into a frenzy in the process

Hey guys! So... I ended up forgetting that Chipzel and corrupted forms existed. So I made a couple TPC OCs. Secentcha and Zipchord! They are siblings, and their levels are Termination Shock and Interlaced respectively.

I have SOME lore for Zipchord, basically he is a member of MDK with Circusic, and like he is a little goblin. He likes a good practical joke and supports going against authority. Imagine his surprise when he found out he had a weapon and was connected to the tree of life.

Secentcha is more serious and adventurous. She is also the younger sibling. :3 I know this won't be as popular as my other TPC posts and that's fine with me, I just wanted to show me little goblins to you guys.

TPC: Pyrare's corruption (speculation)

Okay, so if anyone know how did Pyrare get corrupted prior to the events of The Pink Corruption. I'll get to explain what happened to Pyrare in the past. So anyways, here are the theories i ever heard off:

In Season 1, Episode 3, according to Pentellow at the very end of the episode, she said to Cube that Pyrare had this corruption like him before, it is implied that he did get infected in the past, but his corruption process has likely been failed.

Also in one of the Dub's scenes in the tower, in one of Dub's flashbacks, it turns out to be a pink pyramid, which was likely shown to be Pyrare, but corrupted and looked like Barracuda, although it is unknown if Barracuda is thought to be a corrupted counterpart of Pyrare, but in Season 1, Episode 5, he turns out to be Pyrare's son when he explains about the origins of the Pink Corruption Virus involving himself and Dub, only for Barracuda to pass away to make Dub continue to finish his plan ever since to take control over the Paradise.

In the 2nd part of the Season 2, Episode 4, Gold said one of his lines that he had to use his part from the Yellow Tree of Life to purify Pyrare at least once. So it could be possibly that there would be a flashback of him? Is there any more about the lore of how did Pyrare got corrupted? Did Pyrare had to get Gold until he gets something to do with Barracuda when he's corrupted in the past? Alright, that's all of it this time, i'll make sure to learn more about the lore of what happened to Pyrare at least years ago before the Pink Corruption series started.

This lore/main story arc is speculated to take place in the 2nd half of the 2nd Season or the majority of the 3rd Season of The Pink Corruption

Okay soooo I'm rlly bored and I cant be bothered to draw since its exam week and im a little drained sooo im just going to ramble about random things about me when I first joined the fandom!

I first joined tpc back when ep 2 came out, and that was a while ago.

My first oc was a jungle kid, lived in the forest jumping from trees to trees. Protecting the tree of life at all costs.

I couldn't pronounce ketches, Tsavorite, pentellow or ajaceare when I first saw their names.

...Lord forgive me for this one... the first ship I ever came up with was.......... iris.. and DUB...... I USED TO SHIP IRIS×DUB AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- ..that was before I learned pentellow and iris were dating so don't get TOO judgmental with me.

I only came across Tpc after watching danTDM play Jsab. (DanTDM started my whole career)

I had a hc that iris isn't a pure shape (still do)

When I first saw Pyrare I thought that he had the strongest bond with iris as iris kinda represents barracuda ig?

I never knew Tsavorites name, I got so confused since tsav was also called Green. It lead to me getting very confused although I eventually settled on Tsavorite or just Tsav

I also thought that iris's iris's (that was Akward to type) would change shape based on emotion. Thin for mad, wide for shocked, heart shaped for love/lust and ect. You get the point

Trying To Analyze Cintagon’s Backstory In The Season 1’s Finale

I know haven’t got a lot of analyze posts to say about the TPC series, but I want to actually fully talk about Cintagon’s backstory here, including truth of Pentellow’s mother, the Green Tree of Life’s conversation, etc. It is because I definitely know it’s still terribly written to this day for me…

Scene Overview

So apparently, Cintagon’s story discloses crucial information regarding Pentellow's origins, her mother's fate, and his own paternal relationship to her. It revelation serves multiple narrative purposes: it elucidates Pentellow's background, contextualizes Cintagon's challenging past decision between the Green Tree of Life’s request (we will get to this bullshit part later…), and establishes a profound emotional connection between the long-separated father and daughter.

Analysis

Cintagon’s Revelation

Lines:

"It was before this pink virus existed."

"Your mother died from giving birth to you."

"So your father was going to raise you like any parent would...But..."

"He had to give you away to someone else."

Setting the Context: Cintagon starts by mentioning a period before the Pink Corruption Virus was created. It contextually shows how this backstory is gonna playout later on within this discussion.

Grief and Responsibility: Cintagon’s statement about Pentellow's mother dying at childbirth, introduced a profound sense of lose as Cintagon's use of "your father" in the third person creates initial distance, building suspense before revealing his true identity to Pentellow.

Conflict and Duty: The word "But..." introduces a turning point, highlighting the internal conflict between his parental love and his sense of duty, evident through his promise to raise Pentellow like any other parent would.

Pentellow’s Curiosity and Shock

Lines:

"Why?"

Innocence and Curiosity: Pentellow's single-word question encapsulates her confusion and longing for understanding of her seeking the truth about her past and more about her family's background.

Cintagon's Explanation and Vulnerability

The Backstory’s Dialogue:

"The tree of life told him to. It said his daughter will become the second caretaker, and will succeed at it. If he's willing to give you to someone else. He was devastated. He thought he could never see her again... Until now. I can finally tell you why I had to give you away."

Forgive me for my stupid computer pen writing skills here....

So basically, this flashback represents Cintagon's vulnerability through the Green of Tree of Life's request in order to have his daughter, Pentellow to become one of the Caretakers. It is testament if he is wiling to give his daughter to someone else. So, remember the promise Cintagon made to take care of his daughter like any other parent would?

Emotional Devastation: This will get heavily influenced and destroyed here, humanizing the depth of Cintagon's long-lasting emotional toll for sacrificing his chance of taking care of his daughter in order to have her become one of the chosen ones.

Revelation of Identity: By saying "I can finally tell you why I had to give you away," Cintagon reveals his true identity as her father, blending relief, regret, and a desire for reconciliation.

Alright, here’s the main fucking problem here…

I don't mind Cintagon being Pentellow's father, but the overall execution of this main storyline arc needed more improvement. It was so underwhelming, rushed, and poorly-written. The initial episodes of Season 1 (1-5, and possibly 6) primarily felt like we were focusing on Cube and Cyan's characters when they basically became caretaker and hero in the first few days. But however, this sudden shift to Pentellow's backstory on searching for her long-lost family feel somewhat abrupt and disconnected.

The buildup to the realization of Cintagon's role as Pentellow's father lacked subtlety, with foreshadowing that was overly transparent. By the conclusion of Season 1, Episode 9, when Polyhedron stated, "Oh, you need to find this guy named uhhhh…. Cintagon," the revelation had become quickly predictable, diminishing its potential impact.

Now we talk about the backstory here. In essence, the Green Tree of Life makes a highly controversial and seemingly unjustified decision, instructing Cintagon to go fuck himself to cease all of his parental responsibilities towards his daughter for a period of 24 years. Let me say this AGAIN...! "A FUCKING 24-YEAR TOLL." I don't like this because The Tree's request was just so unreasonable and poorly justified. Like, the Tree was just seeming to disregard Cintagon's paternal role and emotional well-being, not wanting him to actually take care of his daughter for no fucking reason WHY…!

Overall, this main story arc for Pentellow appears to have been implemented hastily, resulting this storytelling experience with so much of wasted potential. Pentellow dosen’t get a whole lot of character development, Cintagon’s backstory was poorly-explained with the Green Tree of Life being so nonsensical and out of character for the sake of being a asshole toward Cintagon.

Cube: Cyan, this is Lythorus! Lythorus, this is Cyan! He’s the hero from yesterday!

Cube: The Pink Corruption was uh…a virus created by that monster to take control of the shapes. The virus was very contagious. Just one touch from it can infect a shape in minutes.

Lythorus: Yeah. The last time the Pink Corruption came was when Cube and I were kids.

Cube: It was terrible. We’ve seen it infect so many shapes you have no idea…

Cyan: How did you all knew about the Pink Corruption?

Lythorus: Oh boy. Well… we saw a shape just started to sweat a lot. Then he started to turn pink! And started to spread it to anyone around him!

Lythorus: I THOUGHT YOU TWO SEALED THE MONSTER!
