My kitten has a new favorite teeny tiny mouse toy that we got at her first vet checkup and she loves it so much. We call it her mousey. She goes crazy over it and could play with it for hours, but sometimes she bats it somewhere she can't reach and we have to get it for her

Today she was getting into a bunch of stuff she shouldn't and I realized that I hadn't seen her playing with her mousey all day. So I asked out loud (rhetorically) "where's your mousey?" and started looking for it so I could give her that to play with instead. As soon as I said that though she walked over to a box of my gf's craft stuff and started pawing behind it, and when I moved it the mousey was right there

I recently just found your works and immediately you went radio silence and I didn't get to request last time. I read your RoR works where child reader was replaced. Can you write another one with alternate ending? Maybe instead of dying, child reader had enough and reported what happened to her to her teachers or a social workers. Reader have experience with neglect and abuse, which is why she snapped when she realizes the RoR characters was treating her like her abuser did which cause the one who replaced her got arrested or something. The ending could be either reader was taken by the social workers and cutting the RoR characters out of her life (in which she ignores all attempts to readopt her) or she still lives with them but no longer trust them (stopped calling them her parents/family and plan to moved out instantly once she was of age despite the RoR try to change her mind).

-You remember the day well, when the girl, six years older than you, was adopted by your family, who adopted you as well, she was twelve going on thirteen while you were six, small for your age but shining under the love from your adoptive family.

-That is, until Emilianna was brought in (trying to make up a name I hope nobody else has and if you do I sincerely apologize), and your little light was snuffed out by her sunshine brightness.

-You wanted to be happy, telling her how happy you were to have a big sister, which your family thought was adorable, and while she was smiling on the outside, hugging you close, inside she was sneering, annoyed that she had to share such a wealthy family with someone who was mere trash in her eyes.

-Aware from prying eyes, you learned that she was a cruel and vain person, teasing you for your short stature, telling you that you would never be cute and that your family only loved you because they had to, while they loved her because she was perfect, cute, delicate, and gentle.

-Emilianna also threatened you if you ever told on her, pinching and beating you behind closed doors where your bruises and marks couldn’t be seen and pain scared you, so you kept quiet, desperate that your family would soon recognize what was going on as you began to shy away, not joining in family activities, almost like you were hiding from all of them.

-All of their attention went to Emilianna, if she wanted to go out shopping, they would all drop everything to take her out, to make her happy if she were to ever bat her sad eyes, telling them that she had never had a family shopping trip before.

-You woke up from your nap that day to a completely empty house and panicked, checking each room for someone before you came to Emilianna’s room, finding it full of clothes, toys, and so many lavish things, while you were still in your clothes you’ve worn for three days, since you had no clean clothes, as they were all forgotten in the hamper in your room, as you couldn’t carry it as your hamper was bigger than you.

-There was no longer a plate for you at the dinner table, as they had forgotten about you, and you would have to find something, usually a bread roll or something small, to stave off your hunger pains, while Emilianna could throw her food away if she didn’t like it.

-You endured this treatment for almost two months, nobody ever seeming to realize what was happening and that they were forgetting you. Emilianna was always sure to keep you under her control, threatening you if you cost her the lavish lifestyle she’s come to enjoy.

-The final straw for you is one cold winter day, where you only had a half a day at school, Emilianna had told you that you didn’t need a coat- as you were going to be picked up, and she took and hid your coat.

-Shivering out in the snow, your tears welled, wanting to cry before you heard, “Y/N?! What are you still doing here!?” you turned, seeing your teacher and you instantly burst into tears as she ran over, removing her coat as she bundled you up.

-It was two hours later, you were safe inside the hospital with your teacher and two police officers. You were angry and tired, as you had been treated badly long enough- and your family betrayed you.

-This was the same when you were with your original family- this is how you were treated- and they were ignoring you in favor of Emiliana- just like your original big brother, and this time, you were going to fight back.

-Officers had gone to your home and your family freaked out- hearing that you were in the hospital after they failed to pick you up.

-Emiliana fessed up, after being asked by the police, scared, that she took the message and ‘forgot’ to tell everyone, which got them angry at her- but they were horrified to learn that you were covered in wounds- abuse wounds.

-Your family swore up and down they didn’t hurt you and they allowed the police to search the house. Emiliana was panicking, seeing them going into her room, followed by several members of your family, before going to your room and instantly they were in an uproar again- demanding to know where your clothes and toys were.

-With more pressing, Emiliana fessed up- showing them her closet, which had all of your stuff, thrown back there and she was instantly in tears when they told her that she needed to come in for questioning, they all did.

-Hades, Adam, Odin, and Eve were the one’s allowed to come to the hospital, under police guidance, and seeing you there, looking so broken, seeing the abuse wounds, Eve immediately tried to run to you, “Y/N!”

-You shied away, causing her to freeze as you held up your arms to your case worker who picked you up, holding you close.

-As the truth was revealed- that Emiliana had been abusing you- putting you in your place, as she wanted to be the only child in your massive family, Adam, in tears, tried to ask you why you didn’t say anything, “You ignored me- I tried talking to you all several times, but you all brushed me off for her- you all abandoned me!”

-Your words cut deep, breaking their hearts, as they hadn’t meant to- begging for your forgiveness. You hugged your case worker, “I don’t want to go back to them- they don’t care about me- they don’t love me.”

-Your caseworker could see their pain- they truly didn’t know, but they were still neglectful to you and she hugged you close, “Then you won’t- and I will be in contact with Emiliana’s case worker- she’s going to be removed as well and placed in an institute where she can get the therapy she needs. I’m sorry.”

-You refused to look at them as she carried you away, your family calling out your name. She could feel your tears on her shoulder, breaking her heart, holding you close- she didn’t want to fail you again.

-Your family was broken after you were taken away- hearing what you had said about them and they all realized that they had indeed forgotten about you- they couldn’t remember the last time they saw you smile, running up to them for a hug.

-They were furious at Emiliana, who tried to plead and cry with them and her case-worker, as she didn’t want to leave such a wealthy home- she didn’t want to lose her clothes and toys- her happiness.

-The family was broken- you were the glue- the happiness, holding them all together, and you were gone, and they could never fix that, and you refused to see them. You never wanted to see them again so they could never hurt you again.

Recently been thinking about a multi-crossover AU a couple people made here on Tumblr some time back between Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, and a couple others where Dipper and Mabel’s parents were a grown up Greg from OTGW and Bonnie from Toy Story 3, with Velma from Scooby Doo being the twins’ grandma, and Shaggy being her first husband, Wirt’s dad. I’m not really into the idea/AU anymore, not as much as I used to be, but given that OTO is basically a multi-crossover fanfic between AHIT, BATIM, and FNAF, with how many of the characters started out as my AU versions of the characters/are based off characters, I can appreciate it for the validation it gives me.

Anyone gonna make an Over the Garden Wall TADC AU yet?

I feel like there's a lack of a TADX x OTGW AU, so I have some suggestions:

Wirt - Pomni (I think this fits, 'cause both characters wanna go home)

Woodsman - Kinger (I think this also fits, 'cause Kinger's wife abstracted and the Woodsman thought he was keeping the spirit of his daughter alive)

Auntie Whispers - Angel (Just because they look creepy, neither of them are evil)

Although there is a lot of characters I'm not sure of.

Greg:

Not sure if this works with Ragatha or Caine. Ragatha is always positive most of the time and I see a lot of fanart with her and Pomni. Caine on the other hand is overexcited and hangs with Bubble such as Greg with his frog.

Beatrice:

I feel like this is a perfect role for Zooble. I mean, Beatrice states that it feels horrible living life as a bluebird, Zooble hates being in the body of a mix-&-match toy with removable parts. Although, Gangle might fit since there is some sad Beatrice angst through chapters 6, 8, and 10.

Adelaide of the Pasture:

I feel like Baron Theodore Mildenhall fits well with the role since he tricked Pomni and Kinger to shoot the angel so he can possess their bodies to get through the Hall of the Damned. Though, Ragatha might fit with this role too since Gooseworx hinted that she has a much more dark side.

Lorna:

I think Gangle and Gummigoo are great candidates for the role. Gummigoo and Pomni had a great connection up until the "confetti popped". And Gangle always wears her comedy mask to hide her sorrowful emotions as Lorna does tasks and chores to keep the evil spirit possessing her distracted from turning her wicked.

The Beast:

Uuuuhhh… I guess Jax? He's always antagonistic and manipulative as seen in TADC episode 2. Although, I might make this a crossover AU and add Darly Boxman to that role.

Well look at you!!! Are you dressed as Wirt from Over the Garden Wall!!??? I really love that show, although I really don’t watch it as often as I should. I first watched it like any old kid does, pirated through YouTube with the actual episode in the corner as a tiny square and the rest of the screen filled with other nonsense! Boy, you really haven’t lived if you haven’t done that at least once in your life. Once watched someone’s upload of the entire Toy Story 4 movie like that — can you believe it? Someone posting the entire Toy Story 4 movie on YouTube! The best part is, it stayed on there for like four weeks! What a fun time.. now, fortunately nowadays with me being on the interwebs more often I know some peeps have posted the whole OtGW series on Google docs which they’ve then shared around, which is pretty nifty indeed! Really appreciate folks doing stuff like that, because otherwise digital media can just vanish into the air with the way streaming is nowadays. Rotten stuff.

Oh, anyway, Over the Garden Wall! Yes, I remember when I first started watching that show. I remember watching the very opening, thinking, “Scenes of the past? No, scenes of fantasy? No… perhaps passing memories, fleeting dreams and thoughts?” I like to think I was pretty right, personally! I like that we’re shown… well, I won’t say much, but with such a simple opening everything happens in plain sight. Even moreso when you look at the Easter eggs, like the intro of each episode!!! Gosh, I felt amazed when I learned all the things it hides!!! I used to gobble down theory videos one after the other about the show! A good show really has you thinking and looking at things with a keen eye and ear, doesn’t it? Over the Garden Wall is such eye candy too, it’s funny how a show can have a simple style like that and yet so detailed too, I’m sure the art style took a while to brew and develop.

My very favourite character was Wirt, no doubt you can guess, when I watched OtGW I was but an insecure teenager myself and as an oldest sibling who plays clarinet, well, it was like a match made in the Unknown! Now that I’m more grown Wirt comes across more silly to me now, ha. Funny how that is you know? When you grow up, you can see the same story at different points in your life, but relate to different characters. That happened to me once with this book about a primary school age girl in foster care. When I was a younger kid, I related a bunch to the main character and her frustrations and struggles, but when I later read the book again as a… teen maybe? I found myself relating more to the adults in her life. It was a strange kind of thing to experience. It helps me remember that to children, things that may seem small to adults, can be really major and big! Children’s concerns should be taken into account all the same, they shouldn’t be simply brushed off as nonsense. Teenagers’ too!

Actually, hey! Speaking of Over the Garden Wall, this I hope you’ll like, I put a little reference to it in my most recent tumblr fake dashboard post! I haven’t seen anyone point it out at all!?? It is none other than fishblr user burgle-the-turts! Their icon no doubt confirms it: a teapot, similar to the kettle Greg wears — I mean, sorry, his elephant costume. The “burgle the turts” line lives in my brain, what can I say. I dropped many other fun references to media in the post, for example, fishblr user greenXD is a reference to that funny thing Master Wu says in the Lego Ninjago movie. THAT’S RIGHT I WATCHED NINJAGO but I haven’t sadly seen the movie and I kind of fell of the show when Zane was kidnapped..?? I did watch the snake stuff, and the whole season where…..

I have a headcanon where the bad end Friends and Helos (I think that's the name of Hunter's possessed form) meet. Wirt and Hunter are very good friends and understand each other quite well. Sometimes Hunter confuses Wirt with Willow (who became a toy permanently, which makes him very sad) but that doesn't bother Wirt.

How do they act when they're sick?

Sorry for the long wait!

Dipper: When he's sick, I can see him either just lounging on the couch watching t.v, or Mabel is practically holding him down in bed to keep him there. Basically "I feel awful" and "I'm fine!"

Mabel: I think she's the productive kind of sick. Very much not happy with not being able to go hang out with friends but will knit so many sweaters.

Coraline: I think she would be all dramatic but in a joking way. "Oh woe is me, mother! I'm going to die!" "It's just a cold, Coraline."

Wybie: He is the good child. He's going to chill in bed with his tissues and maybe a DS.

Norman: He is also the good child. Norman is going to take this chance to watch zombie movies all day.

Neil: I think he might be dodging his older brother's "get better quick" shakes but honestly he's probably just going to watch t.v and call Norman.

Raz: I can also see Raz being dramatic but in a more serious way. He'll stay in bed though. I am now questioning if when psychics get sick, if their powers act up. Like, Raz sneezes and the water in his water bottle just blasts out. If when Lili sneezes, if something lights on fire. It would be fun.

Lili: She hates this! She wants out of bed now! Raz tends to hang out with her to try to help her deal with this. This then results in Raz getting sick. Even though Raz ends up being dramatic with his cold, he'll never get upset at Lili about it.

Wirt: So the last comic that came out was Sister's of Charity and in this one, Wirt has a cold. Wirt honestly starts eating oranges and wants to practice self care.

Greg: He's probably like a lot of kids who are sick. He'll just play with his toys and nap more. He will relish in not needing to go to school.

Anne: She is dramatic as all get out! "Sprig I think I'm going to die!"

Sasha: She will be dramatic but in more of a way of "this suuuuucks! I want to see my friends!"

Marcy: She is actually very happy when sick. She looks at this as an opportunity to binge Lord of the Rings or whatever that movie is that she really likes.

Luz: I think we've all seen that episode of Owl House where Amity meets Hunter. She be loopy.

Ngl I absolutely love for The beast singing “he’s a tramp” (from lady and the tramp) about Enoch. Personally I perfer the beast’s versions of love songs to be much more macabre and vague but there’s something so charming about singing something so sweet/light hearted. The song is half insulting him and half gushing over him x feels sweet and so very intimate. Especially considering that the song is sung to someone else about Enoch (like he’s gossiping/warning someone about him) so I adore the imagery of Lorna or wirt asking about Enoch only for the beast to start some explanation of how fickle or stupid Enoch is only to have him get carried away and it develops into him accidentally revealing how much he adores him.

Quite the cute idea! When you sent this ask I spent a few weeks toying with the lyrics of he’s a tramp trying to make them more cat-coded, but I couldn’t quite make “He’s a Tom” work for me.

The idea that the Beast sings songs about Enoch when he’s far from Pottsfield has actually quite seized a hold of me lately, I blame @garecc for his recent fic on a strolling. And in conjunction with this ask, I’ve been thinking of the idea that there are songs in the unknown about a black cat who represents death, and the Beast, as a collector of songs must sing some of them, but those who hear it can’t help but notice that the lyrics seem a little different from the way they learned them.

Something to muse on certainly.

"Because The Doctor Is Male, Female and Neither, And More" - Rose, 14th Doctor and Donna

That special was so good! I love all the characters of course, Donna is my favorite companion after all.

Some of lines felt a slight bit odd place but the wirting is overall really good and seeing donna and rose just fucking yeet off the energy from the metacrisis is funny as hell!

Also rose making an the toys from the metacrisis memorys is soo cool!

Mom's Opinions ( First Time Watching Doctor Who! )- Found it funny and loved the grapichs and custom design, Really like the meep even though the meep was evil! Felt a conntion with donna even without watching the series at all before the point.

Zaphod Beeblebrox (hg2g) demiguy, it/he

Trillian (hg2g) enby transfem, she/her

Ford Pines, Stan Pines, Mable Pines, Dipper Pines, Lazy Susan, Sheriff Blubs (gravity falls) are all trans in some way

Lars, Sadie, Kiki, Jenny and Buck (Steven Universe) are both also trans

Wirt, Jason Funderberker, the Woodsman, Beatrice, Lorna, Auntie Whispers, Sara, Jimmy Brown, Margueritte Grey, the Toy Maker and the Tavern Keeper (OtGW) are also all trans lol
