It perfectly fits her relationships with her past partners. Valerie isn't over either of them (Lute and Kamaria) nor will she likely ever be soon. She values them even though they hurt eachother equally while dating. She's trying to get better as a person. Sort of like Blitz from Helluva Boss but she doesn't hate herself... much 😭 she cherishes the time they had together and wishes they still were friends. But ever since Lute decided to fuck Valerie up and take her eye when she just couldn't put a bullet to a kids head from anither gang, their group broke up and split apart. Valerie was the only one who didn't have anybody to lean on during that traumatic time, she's not close to her dad so DEF not him. So during when things got rough, she summoned a demon to protect her. She also wanted company. But that's a secret.

SO YEAH! RELATIONSHIPS DONT WORK WITH PEOPLE? JUST SUMMON A DEMON!

She's at her lowest of all, physically and mentally damaged, she longs for something to fix her life. Of course. Nothing could... FIX it. But, luckily something made it better. Charlie 🥺 annd vise versa! (Or however u say it) because Charlie too was in a horrible time. Her home life isn't the best. So they both are eachothers miracle‼️‼️ 🥹🥹 (Encanto was good. yo i just read that webtoon out of control and it was by all definition, out of control

it was so wholesome and cute and hilarious at first and much of the drama didnt seem to start until they introduced the ex-president and joohee’s older bro and i thought it was going to be really heavy during that arc but it was still really fuckin funny ok it didn’t get dark until jaerim and yuri officially started dating (technically it was p dark when that annoying pretty boy and the archery dude started their love story) but god....all those relationships in that entire webtoon were so toxic and ugly and i suppose were realistic in the sense that relationships are not all rose colored or always pure but damn.....the less damaging ones were yurixjaerim and yuminxdohoon but i mean...even those two were jsut....so horrible .... 

i mean first of all dohoon (im p sure that was his name i cant rmbr that well) was legit bullying yumin, though he was a little more understandable? bUT IT DOESN’T EXCUSE HOW BADLY HE TREATED YUMIN. he was always in love with yumin and always wanted yumin by his side, he just had really horrible and toxic means of doing so

yuRI AND JAERIM STARTED OFF SO GOOD BUT? ?? ?? ? damn i feel like yuri’s character was constantly changing throughout the entire series he wasn’t consistent at all. towards the end he was really pathetic and i know he developed a mental disorder but god...it was really hard for him to be redeemed. jaerim was 100% amazing legit all the way, i mean ofc he has bad points too but it was never in no way damaging and his bad points are what him seemed realistic but not over the top too.

the ex president and dunno are just the worst they are toxic and disgusting the first moment i laid eyes on them i hated them both they r just Bad

THE PRETTY BOY AND THE ARCHERY GUY ARE JUST AS BAD I WANTED TO ERASE READING THEIR ARC FROM MY MIND I LITERALLY CRIED AND I USUALLY DON’T CRY FROM READING MANGA OR MANHWA 11/10 DISPLEASED WITH THAT STORY

the only het couple they dived into was a fucking train wreck too i cant believe ayeon took that shit from soyeon for years like her goal was tryna get with another man why would u assist in that and the fact that ayeon didn’t even apologize to jaerim for sexually assaulting him upset me too bcos ye i can understand why he hates yuri and blames yuri for hurting both soyeon and jaerim but.....??? u r no better?? ?? tbh i’m sad that he appeared at the end though bcos he was a character that could have really developed more and it would have been fun to read abt him

this webtoon was literally out of control but i enjoyed it, the only reason i didn’t stop in the middle was bcos i knew all the chapters were out so i wanted to at least finish it vs a story that’s ongoing cos i aint gonna keep myself updated with that shit like with ten count
