Musa again! Sorry for all the messages I just have many thought rn! I was thinking about the full version of eveytime we touch and heres some observations:

- ais’ part is rlly short and very explicitly desperate in wording (about weakness, survival). This fits his character well imo. The voice also sounds far away and fades away at the end :(( (bad end?) Also I think its interesting how his part is the first, and leander’s is the last

- The lyrics in vere’s part put an emphasis on physical contact. The music sounds like smth out a horror/thriller haha. I rlly like that (it sounds so threatening despite the ‘romantic’ lyrics) Also interesting how him and mhin are parallels (2nd and 3rd, like how leander and ais are 1st and 4th)

- Whyyy is kuras in the middle??? Im so curious to the implications of this. Kuras’ part sounds suprisingly authoritative? Like the music, especially at the last part. Maybe this hints at kuras’ hidden anger or smth?

- Sweet mhin’s part is so reflective and sad :( and it puts more emphasis on a shared journey instead of just the physical (like vere lol). Its very focussed on the emotional part of the relationship (my baby <3)

- Our evil pookies part sounds so desperate (in terms of music) compared to the others. It also sounds like an epic, like thr music at the part of a movie were the hero is this close to absolute victory. The lyrics are also more desperate and rlly focussed on our touch. I thought that the buildup to leanders part from mhins sounded rlly sinister btw.

Also: this whole song is so so repetitive, and considering repetition is leander’s thing (ouroboros) i rlly wonder what this means??? My evil pookie senses are going wild.

My first response to seeing that post was like

This might be a hot take, but am I the only one that thinks that the recent Leander post by Redspring studio is a red herring? I’m still not 100% on Leander turning into a yandere but I took the post more as a hint that Leander would try to kidnap and trap us for our powers and will act like the Prince-charming, hero archetype if it means that we’ll obey him rather than “ahhhh he’s crazy in love with us.” I’m not completely against the theory that he’ll turn into a yandere, but I still want to believe that this guy is not genuine at all with his love for us (in the beginning at least) and there would be a steady romantic development in the story instead of a puppy love but yandere.

on Leander and cults

Leander and the Bloodhounds remind me of the Dionysus cult of Ancient Greece. Dionysus was the God of not only wine and festivity but also religious ecstasy and drunkenness!

Leander literally owns a bar where he happily supplies everyone, especially the Bloodhounds, alcohol and the people there just adore him. I found it interesting in the demo that we’re given the option TWICE to drink either alcohol at the bar or just plain water. It has to be important, right? What if he’s putting something in the alcohol to make everyone who drinks it more susceptible to his charm? Tho this may be a reach cuz the other LIs drink there and seem fine but maybe Leander knows not to mess with any of them at this point of the game.

But anyway, back to my Leander/Dionysus connection: let’s say Leander IS trying to become God. I feel he would be like Dionysus cuz he wants everyone to be entertained and have parties while being filled to the brim with alcohol while worshiping him(this ties into my theory that Leander’s fatal flaw is a superiority complex but that’s another post in the works).

Similar to the Dionysus cult, the Bloodhounds don’t play about Leander. It’s a recorded fact that the Dionysus cult literally tore people apart in drug and alcohol fused ecstasy as a way of religious sacrifice to Dionysus - I believe that’s what Leander is pushing the Bloodhounds towards in the end. How the Bloodhounds got mad at us for bringing up the Senobium at the Wet Wick because they saw it as an affront to Leander….they would definitely kill for him, and happily so.

Thinking abt that "which one knows the best spots" and now that has me thinking how much information each LI has in general. Like how much access they have to information. Their abilities to gain them.

Ais - has a hivemind. Crimson eyed woman knows your name without you even telling her.

Vere - has been there since Eridia first started out. Likes to frolick. But after being chained I imagine he hasn't been free to explore as much. His eyes make up for this. What he lacks in physical capability he unlocks through looking into others' eyes.

Leander - he has a whole gang. There are theories they deal with information as currency. Nonetheless, that's a network of people with the ability to share information with. Not as quick as Ais's hivemind with instantaneous telepathy, but a group nonetheless. Depending on what the price of joining the Bloodhounds might be, there could be more Bloodhounds than crimson-eyed hivemind members due to the terrible price to pay. Leander also grew up in Eridia.

Kuras - it's been pointed out that he suspiciously shows up when there's a soulless attack. It's also been pointed out that it's less likely he just randomly does patrols and happen to keep running into you when this happens due to his busy nature of being the only doctor helping lowtown for free. Him being an angel with many eyes, there's a chance he has some sort of omniscience to the city, whether that's through soulless or otherwise.

Mhin - they're a newcomer, but they're an active hunter. They're likely the most free to move out of all the other LIs, who seem to be tied down by something (Leander's role as a leader, Kuras being a doctor, Vere being chained) or just seem to have no purpose or care (Ais). Considering their persistence to break into the Senobium and following its students around for information, they could be rapidly gaining information as well.

it’s interesting that Leander’s weapon of choice seems to be a dagger bc heroes with as much bravado as he does typically use swords bc it’s flashy and a show of, well, bravado.

but he chose a dagger a weapon that is used in close combat and can be associated with deception or treachery since it would require you to be close to your victim and surprise them with a dagger. for him to kill someone (which he most likely has and even likelier more than once) he would have to earn their trust (he may even try to earn their trust by giving them flowers, offering them a drink, trying to help them with their curse, giving them a free room at the inn etc etc) and probably his charm or “empty flattering” as Vere calls it and then betray them

it does make me wonder if there is more to his “escapades”.

So I think that Vere’s hypersexuality might point to some VERY unethical practices by the senobium. I mean the warning probably shows what I mean already right? I think thats Veres compulsion on control has a lot to do with this (consequently, his affection for ais might show that ais is very considerate!) what do you think? I THINK URE ONTO STH.....the senobium is known to kill and torture as they please. What's stopping them from doing/using vere in those kinds of ways? Pretty fucked up..but it would make sense w how Vere is.

Okay, crazy theory...

So we know Leander has pagan/celtic/alchemy symbols on him...but i know the white lily is also part of Christianity. Gabriel gives Virgin Mary the lily, and he helps people for free.

BUT let's just say this, what if Leander does resurrect himself, God's have done this. That's why these Bloodhounds have such high respect for him because I keep looking at that stained glass behind him...gives me such vibes of some cult or he's a part of something bigger. Bloodhounds are just a distraction or something bigger that he has going..planned even.
