Taking a nap with Summertime Render characters!

Tsuki's note: this is purely platonic. As if you decided to take a break from all that mess and just nap. That 's it.

- Sleeps like Rotisserie chicken

Ushio: both her and her shadow can't stay still. She tosses, she rolls around and sometimes, drools a little. But only when very tired! It may be changeling to take a nap with her, but she will be very very happy to have you there! Just be sure to remove your glasses and other accessories so it won't be squashed away by a stray hand! Probably build a pillow fort.

She is 7/10. It may not be a restful nap, but her adorable face and bright smile makes up for it!

Totsumura: He, as well, tosses around a lot, he tends to try to cuddle but to avail. snores a bit. May also be challenging to nap with! He will play it smug upon the opportunity, but lowkey nervous he is self conscious about it!

He is 5/10. Too challenging and no cute appeal, but will try hard to not bother too much.

- Sleeps so painfully still feels like they are dead

Shinpei: OK, this boy barely moves. Even though he stays still, he doesn't mind if you cling to him. In fact he actually likes it! The warmth of another human is very welcoming to him, like it's an ok sign he can rest! He doesn't really snore, it is more like a loud breathing? Even if you are a Rotisserie chicken he won't mind much and I will find a way to rest.

He is a 10/10 for napping. He won't wake you up, unless you have something to do. Pretty chill time!

Hizuru: Hizuru doesn't move much at all. When she was a kid Ryuunosuke would get a little concerned about her. She is not very fond of clinginess, so if you do happen to cling she will try to elbow you away. Didn't work? You are being kicked out. That 's it. No second chances. But she won't elbow you as long as you keep your spaces or have just a slight touch.

She is 8/10. Just keep you to yourself and it will be all good. She won't wake you up, your duties are yours.

Nezu: He doesn't move much? He would, also, raise concern if he didn't snore a bit. He doesn't mind if you cling to him. May complain a lot, but won't shove you off, just sigh and admit defeat. He had kids and grandkids so he has a soft spot.

He is 8/10. Even though he doesn't mind having a clingy person he will complain a lot. Like a lot.

- Sleeps normally - do not move much nor stay too still

Tokiko: She has a normal sleeping pattern. She does, lowkey, like to be clinged to It makes her feel a bit more, let's say, strong. Just don't go octopus on her, she dislikes that. She may get bothered if you move a lot, but she won't do anything to you, she will just get up and go elsewhere. Secretly she uses the shadows as a gigantic pillow.

She is 10/10. Pretty chill experience, may get a little creepy with the shadows, but is a matter of getting used to them.

Karakiri: Haine sometimes wonders if he is dead. But nope, just sleeping. He has a very light sleep, any movement, noise or light wakes him up. Once he is awake he hardly sleeps again, so he may just watch you there, maybe grab a tea too? He teases you for wanting a nap, this will go on for a while and will mention your sleeping habits. He won't wake you up and will be as silent as he can.

He is 6/10. His habit of watching people sleep and his notes about your patterns is kinda creepy. But the nap in itself is pretty ok.

- Sleep like a koala - clinging time!

Ryuunosuke: He gives vibes of someone who owns a body pillow or something of the sort to snuggle. Loves to cuddle and snuggle! He may turn a bit around after a while and has loud breathing like Shinpei. Will bring a bunch of blankets too, the comfier the merrier! He is not very easy to fall asleep, so he may chat a bit while you are trying to nap. Tries his best to not wake you up though.

He is 8/10. Comfortable and warm, but he is a bit chatty so it may take some time to actually nap.

Sou: Another boy! Yes he too, owns some kind of pillow to snuggle! But he doesn't really let anyone know about it. He soft snores when tired. Will happily oblige to a nap, but get awkward once he realizes he snuggled you. A bit clumsy, may wake you up by accident.

He is 8/10. Good boy is just trying to make you comfy, but is too self conscious of his habits and gets awkward thus may avoid eye contact later.

- Sleeps in fetus position- like a little ball

Mio: I feel like Mio turns into a little ball when sleeping. Will probably curl up against you, so she doesn't mind cuddling. Shy, very shy about it. Will bring water and what not just in case. Will wake you up if you have something to do, will be very gentle, soft voice to not startle you.

She is 9/10. A peaceful nap, but you may cramp a bit from her little ball form. She is happy you got some rest!

Haine: She sleeps like this to keep herself warmer. No it's not a matter of blankets is a kind of… inner warmth? Will, for sure, cling to you while napping and being a little ball. Requests for pillow fort and blankets. She feels bad about waking you up, but she gets lonely and wants some company, a voice around.

She is 8/10. It gets very comfy but you need to do most of the work and bring snacks! But a peaceful nap until she pokes your cheeks.

Summer Time Rendering TV Anime Reveals More Cast Member, Ending Theme Song

  Summer fun will begin a little early this year, with the adaptation of Yasuki Tanaka's Shonen Jump+ manga series Summer Time Rendering starting on April 14 and running through the summer ... time. Ahead of the premiere, the series revealed more of its supporting cast and the ending theme song that will be heard during the end credits.

  Joining the cast of Summer Time Rendering will be:

  Akio Otsuka (All For One in My Hero Academia) will be voicing Seido Hishigata

  Tessho Genda (Taira no Kiyomori in The Heike Story) will be voicing Alain Kofune

  Yoji Ueda (Leif Ericson in Vinland Saga) will be voicing Tetsu Totsumura

  Katsuyuki Konishi (Laxus Dreyar in Fairy Tail) will be voicing Masahito Kirikiri

  cadode will be performing the ending theme "Kaika" for the series. The opening theme song "Hoshi ga Oyogu" was previously confirmed to be performed by Macaroni Empitsu. It can heard in the previous promotional video for the anime:

    Summer Time Rendering was first released on the Shonen Jump+ service in Japan, with the 13-volume series picked up by Udon Entertainment, which describes the series as such:

  A tragic incident calls a young man named Shinpei back to his hometown on the remote island of Higotoshima, Japan. But something sinister awaits upon his return, and a chilling sequence of events unfolds that will have dire consequences for Shinpei, for Japan, and for the entire world!

  The Summer Time Rendering TV anime will be directed by Ayumu Watanabe (Children of the Sea) at OLM. The series is set to stream both in Japan and internationally on Disney+ from April 14, though no details on the international release have been confirmed as of yet.
