Crunchy Broccoli Salad with Tahini Dressing
I love to eat broccoli, but I don’t love to eat it raw and most broccoli salads use raw broccoli. That’s the very reason I was attracted to this Crunchy Broccoli Salad with Tahini Dressing! The broccoli is blanched just long enough to make it tender, bright green and really tasty. Combined with chopped red cabbage, sweet dates, spicy chili cashews and a creamy tahini dressing…this is a beautiful, delicious and healthy salad.

A Show Stopping Smoked Salmon Platter for Easter
I’ve had a Cameron Stovetop Smoker for years now and in the past used it often. For some reason, I got out of the habit of using it, but recently pulled it out and smoked some chicken! It was so delicious that the other day, I decided to smoke a side of salmon! OMG it was such a treat and soooo easy! The hardest part of using this little smoker is washing it and Baldy is so good at it that I just let him do it…it’s a good trade, he gets to eat the delicious food and I don’t have to wash the dishes!
Anyway, after that first salmon experiment, I thought it would be fun to make a platter and surround the salmon with delicious garnishes, somewhat inspired by a Salad Nicoise! It turned out better than I could have hoped…it was beautiful and so delicious! After I finished artfully arranging the other ingredients around the salmon, I drizzled it with a simple maple vinaigrette (since I used maple smoking chips), squeezed a bit of lemon juice over the salmon and added a few slices of lemon! Wow, it really was a showstopper and I’ll definitely be making this often! I think this recipe will serve 4 adults generously. You could always add more of the “garnishes” or serve with another vegetable. I’m serving it for Easter lunch and will probably smoke two pieces of salmon for six adults and two children. I never mind leftovers…in fact, I have just a bit left in the refrigerator that I’ll put on avocado toast later today and that will be such a treat for my lunch!

If you don’t have a smoker, you could grill or roast the salmon in the oven and it would still be delicious! Don’t let that stop you from trying this recipe!

1 (15-ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes
1 tablespoon dried minced onion flake
1⁄4 cup raisins
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons curry
1⁄4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3 cups chicken broth
1⁄3 cup long grain white rice to add later
Directions
Use a 6-quart slow cooker. Put the chicken thighs into the bottom of your cooker, and add apple, carrots, the whole can of tomatoes, onion flakes, and raisins. Then add the lemon juice, spices, and broth. Stir to mix the spices.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. If you'd like, shred the chicken with two big forks, and stir in the uncooked rice. Flip to high for 30 minutes, or until the rice is tender. If you live in a high altitude, the rice will take longer and you might want to consider using instant or already cooked rice---it's up to you.
Ladle into soup bowls.

Esperar uma lua (28 dias) e iniciar novamente na lua minguante por mais uma lua. Repetir o uso durante três ciclos.
A necessidade de parar depois de uma lua é para diminuir o risco de toxicidade, principalmente para os rins (somente as pessoas que tenham creatinina menor que 1,0 e não tenham proteinúria), assim como o número máximo de repetições em três vezes por ano.
Para os diabéticos que utilizam insulina ou hipoglicemiantes orais, é necessário monitorar de perto, várias vezes por dia, a glicemia. A ingestão de babosa induz acentuada diminuição da glicose sanguínea, necessitando diminuir bastante a dose dos hipoglicemiantes, em especial a dose diária de insulina.
Caso este cuidado não seja tomado, corre-se o risco de hipoglicemia grave até mesmo letal. Para monitoramento adequado seria necessária avaliação da glicemia em diferentes horários do dia.
Contra-indicações da babosa
Além da gravidez, seu uso é contraindicado em casos de varizes hemorroidas, afecções renais, enterocolites, apendicites, prostatites e cistites.
O uso interno prolongado provoca hipocalemia, diminui a sensibilidade do intestino, necessitando aumento gradativo da dose, favorecendo o surgimento de hemorroidas.
Em crianças os efeitos colaterais podem ser potencializados, tornando o uso interno extremamente perigoso.

5 adet yaprak marul
1 demet maydanoz
3 dal taze soğan
1 adet salatalık
1 adet kuru soğan
4 diş sarımsak
1 tatlı kaşığı kuru nane
1 tatlı kaşığı kimyon

Tarif
İlk önce kapaklı bir kapta 2 bardak su ile köftelik ince bulgur ıslatılıp ağzı kapatılarak bekletilir.
Diğer tarafta marul, maydanoz, taze soğan ve salatalık yıkanıp ince ince doğranır.
Daha sonra bir bkasenin içerisine limon suyu, nar ekşisi, zeytinyağı koyulup iyice karıştırılır.
Islatılmış köftelik bulgur üzerine, doğranmış kuru soğan ve sarımsak, domates ve biber salçası, kimyon, nane ve tuz ilave edilerek yoğurulur.
Daha sonra köftenin üzerine, doğranmış taze soğan, salatalık, marul, maydanoz, limon suyu, nar ekşisi ve zeytinyağı karışımı ilave edilerek karıştırıarak bekletilmeden servis yapılır.
