Morning sketch loadout, with 𝕲𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖒𝖔𝖌 - 𝕸𝖊𝖉𝖎𝖊𝖛𝖆𝖑 𝕵𝖔𝖚𝖗𝖓𝖊𝖞𝖘.
I use a cassette walkman for music while sketchbook drawing, keeping my phone in another room. No temptation to browse or select songs, just letting the album take you on its JOURNEY. Spotify/Bandcamp/YT etc are great for finding new tunes, but too often I catch myself wasting 30-45 mins "making a productivity playlist" instead of actually... Drawing. If you struggle with constant distraction as I do, next time you sit down to work, start an album or playlist, and then DON'T TOUCH IT! Try to go for an hour or until the music ends. Analog media like tapes make this easy, but you can still do it with digital with some impulse control.
Try it. I GUARANTEE you'll see improvements and have a lot more fun with your craft.
