On Saturday I had the pleasure of joining the #Pride in #Torino a second time 🇮🇹 seeing the trucks, people and supporters in my current home base was such a beautiful image 🌈 and even when the official parade ended, the celebration and music continued, which was an amazing sight to see 💃
The parade started at Piazza Castello and followed a slightly different route than usual, passing through some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Mole Antonelliana and the Po river. The parade was led by a banner with the slogan ‘Tacchi rotti, eppur bisogna andar’ 👠 a reference to the resilience and courage of the LGBTQIA+ community ✊ The parade was a colourful and festive display of diversity and solidarity, with floats, DJs, dancers and activists animating the streets of Turin. The parade also had a political dimension, as it demanded more rights and recognition for LGBTQIA+ people in Italy and around the world 🌏 It was a beautiful day of love and solidarity and I’m so excited to join another pride parade next weekend in Milano 🏳️‍🌈
