This episode was so refreshing. Only very few indirect Marner mentions at the beginning and a nice rant about Bettman later on. Always an immediate bonus when he gets insulted and collects snide remarks.

Felt like one of the episodes before the playoffs bitterness set in. Let's see how long that lasts.

HERE'S THE PLAN

crazy idea in the name of combatting percy and jason being enemies but poseidon reader (my actual obsession), is percy's twin. percy is dead set on setting them up on the argo II (is oblivious, does not realize that they already like each other). he enlists annabeth to help him devise a plan and she's like you're dumb but yeah okay sure. jason and r then do not want to give percy the satisfaction/ego boost, so they are sneaking around the argo II and hooking up (duh). THEN percy didn't realize the full implications of his plan and is SHOCKED and APPALLED to find catch them together, devises a full powerpoint presentation with coach hedge on "the talk" for his "little sister" who is fully like two minutes younger than him.

piper and leo are in hysterics laughing at jason, hazel and frank are lowk scandalized, annabeth is staring at percy like seaweed brain are you actually dumb?? and then of course there's a debrief later with piper and annabeth (hazel was invited but is kind of scarred from earlier)

no but what about the point where remus’ absences and the marauders’ popularity had both gotten big enough for rumours to develop. like the strangest shit was said about remus, with death eater rumours and rebellious truancy (hardcore stoner) rumours and a couple “werewolf”’s spoken here and there. and he’s got his confidence and everything but it was getting SO deeply embarrassing? he didn’t want to be known for his pristine schoolwork or anything but did they think he was thoughtless enough to willingly skip classes?

the stuff gnawed on him for a while, and when a moon got him bedridden for over a week at some point, he was so sure he’d reached his limit. he wouldn’t tell anyone about how it bothered him; his pride was greater than the consequences of his silence. but then there was sirius. sirius who snuck into the hospital wing every day, not so madam pomfrey wouldn’t see but to keep questioning strangers from the stuff. and when people asked remus questions, sirius would know how to distract. or tell them off. flawlessly every time.

sirius got it. even if he hadn’t fully been in that position before (any negative rumours that could’ve been pinned on him faded into air the moment his gryffindor spirit kicked in (which was immediately on sept. 1st 1971)), he knew. and remus ended up being sooo down bad his pride went down the drain anyway.
