I've finally went to that area in Shadow's Keep that @val-of-the-north kept talking about that will help to get to the new location, and met this guy in person! Turned out that 1) Marika is such a bad mother that she gives mommy issues even to people who aren't even her children and 2) it is a fork and I didn't blind him because Val already did (we do different choices in such situations so we can access all descriptions personally)

I DEEPLY loathe this character.
