#my mom was ahead of her time & didnt like it because she correctly identified that its a dog fighting simulator lol#i mean i like pokemon fine it was impossible to ignore in the culture as a hashtagMillenial but i was more into digimon#PW didnt steal the concept tho there are so many Kids Collect Monsters & Fight games/shows. digimon/monster rancher/etc just were betterlol#anyone else remember fighting foodons? now THAT was an iconic entry into the genre#the PW character design is fully pokemon rip-off. however nintendo is really rich so i dont really care?#the controversy with the devs and ai now THAT is grimey shit i hate#the rest of it has just been witnessing the disappointing yet 100% unsurprising lack of spine in consumers#too depressed about things that matter more to be impassioned about symptoms of industry illnesses rather than the causes
