Off to Venice Beach, Los Angeles. Yesterday we spent the early morning hours at one of the most famous beaches in the world and watched the surfers crash the pacific waves, Yoginis practice their sun salutations and little boys ride their skateboards. For some extra real California feeling we also brought our to go frozen vegan almond milk caramel lattes 😉 After that we got to visit the @toms headquarter and got a behind the scenes tour to learn more about their giving philosophy and the principles behind heir work. It's quite impressive to see how much energy they put behind their mission to empower people in over 70 countries by providing support that is powered by their core business model. With each product you buy from @toms you'll support (for example) a kid to go to school with its new pair of school uniform shoes or a person with cataract to get an eye surgery, etc. I most definitely want to be part of one of their giving trips one day to see their efforts put into practice!
