i have well and truly gone down the Tomstarco rabbit hole and have created fankids so enjoy this nonsense.

first born between Star and Tom: Princess Bridgette Butterfly-Lucitor-Diaz aka Jett.

heir to the Underworld throne.

looks a lot like Star w/ some of Tom’s features (red hair, purple/grey skin, horns, tail)

but has only 2 blue eyes.

has little red flame shapes as cheek emblems.

pretty powerful, having both Butterfly and Lucitor magic running through her.

also has some slight anger issues, but Tom and Marco/Maria have helped her sort out ways of controlling and channeling it.

tough rocker girl. she also can’t stand Tom and Marco’s taste in music.

happy enough to dress formally, but will not stand for big, poofy pink dresses.

beautiful dancer.

adored by all three parents.

and her grandparents from all three (tons of gifts!)

awesome fighter, trained by Marco/Maria and Kelly.

once nicked her mother’s dimensional scissors when she was 12 and got caught by Hekapoo.

when she came home w/ a pair of her own after being AWOL for about 10 minutes and a bald spot she was grounded for a week.

“But Mama did it, and i got a dragoncycle! i called him Firebrand!”

heir to the Mewni throne and the wand.

mini version of Marco/Maria.

has the alchemy symbol for comet for cheek emblems.

the wand takes the form of a mage’s staff for her.

very shy and studious.

spent her whole life up to the age of 14 studying magic.

not very well coordinated, can’t dance.

this was a shock to everyone knowing her parents.

this became an issue when she got the wand since a lot of spells effectively require some form of dance (the warnicorn stampede for example)

lack of coordination + a wand that’s currently taller than her with a heavy ball on top = more than a decade of almost pointless studying since she now has to work out how to wield this thing w/ out falling over.

also adored by her family.

a bit of an awkward sausage.

other notes:

Marco/Maria switches names and pronouns depending on how they feel. 

but they’re always King of Mewni because judging by the new trading cards, the ruler is always queen and therefore the consort is always king, and is Queen of the Underworld because they’ve canonically said they want to be a queen so yay.

the princesses both face some shit for their lineages (half demon/monster and half human) from some bigoted Mewmens who haven’t accepted monsters (and aren’t too happy about a human king either)

Star becomes kind of a Mama Bear when this happens.

So I have some svtfoe thoughts (retyping this from memory after tumblr closed and I lost my first draft of this yesterday, so I might forget some. Also this will definitely contain season 4 spoilers, up to the latest episode, and will thus be tagged #svtfoe spoilers as well). This is in no particular order (and covers multiple episodes so it’s kinda long):

I knew Eclipsa and Globgor weren’t evil! I mean come on, after Eclipsa’s arc where she spent the last 2 seasons trying to prove she wasn’t evil making her evil would just be a disappointment

Also Globgor seeing his daughter again for the first time in 300 years? Cry. He just loves his family :(

I also really like how Mina’s getting set up to be the Big Bad, and it raises a lot of questions: what happened to the other original Solarian Project soldiers? Why did Mina survive? What did Solaria do to create the super soldiers, and how is Mina planning to remake them? I’m really intrigued and hoping for some answers

Are the mewmans in Moon’s camp going to be the new supersoldiers? Since they all hate monsters and Eclipsa and I’m pretty sure the original Solarian Project soldiers were mewmans that Solaria did something to?

It’s interesting that the MHC, despite hating and not trusting Eclipsa, was apparently not in on rhombulus’s plot to make Eclipsa and Globgor look evil. I would’ve thought Hekapoo would’ve been the one to pull something like that tbh

Poor Star has had to grow up rlly fast and worry about a lot of adult things that she shouldn’t have to. She’s what, 15? And despite not being queen, she still has to do a lot of the work a queen should do. I’m glad she addressed that and pointed out that she should be able to do teenager things

Tom and Marco singing too little to late again was a great throwback and I love how Marco was like “oh I couldn’t possibly do this” while pulling up the song and getting ready to dance. Mood

Ok though, what was the point of establishing Kellco in Kelly’s Worl (with very little onscreen romantic buildup) and then immediately breaking them up (offscreen!) in the dragon cycle episode? I don’t get it

Tom thinks Marcos the cool one and I think that’s beautiful. I really love their friendship it’s so good

Oh! Now I remember! I like how we got to see Eclipsa’s sassy side in the MHC episode. She deserved to be a little sassy after the MHC makes her wait 45 minutes while they get corn shakes, she has to eat Sean’s terrible donuts, and then the MHC accuses her of using really powerful dangerous dark magic with no proof it’s her

This seems fairly obvious but the dark magic user’s probably Mina.

I don’t have a lot of polyam ships, but I think the series should end in Tomstarco tbh. They’d all be cute together and it’s obvious they care about each other a lot

This isn’t whatever I was gonna say but I’m proud of River for standing up for Globgor cause he realized he just wanted to be a father. (And for Globgor for immediately letting go of Star when River said “that’s my daughter” bc he didn’t wanna hurt some guy’s kid)

Speaking of parents I’m really proud of Moon for going to the cor(n)onation bc even though she doesn’t trust Eclipsa, she loves her daughter and knows how much it means to her

Globgor and Eclipsa and Meteora are so cute I hope they grow up as a happy healthy family. It’s what they deserve after all they’ve been through

Star and Eclipsa’s cor(n)onation dresses were really cute. Not plot relevant but true.

Cornonation was a really good episode in general I really enjoyed it

Also, every episode of Season 4 so far has been strong with TomStarCo and even though I know the chances of it happening canonically are pretty much nil since this is A) a kid’s show, and B) a Disney show, getting so much subtext for my OT3 has been a blast. I hope fic writers take the subtext and run with it.
