“I don’t… what? I—” His voice falters, the heat rising from his neck to his face. His palms are sweating, and he’s certain she can feel how clammy they are. “You’re being weird. So weird, and it’s driving me mad, because I know you’re overthinking everything, but I’ve spent the afternoon trying to figure out a way to get you to stop overthinking and I’ve only managed to come up with one viable option.” He stares at her, mouth slightly open.
