@ofbloodandsnow
"Oh thank god you're here," She exclaimed, a sigh of relief breaking from her lips as she yanked the door open to see her brother. "Do you hear them, right now?" She motioned over her shoulder to where their dads where in her kitchen currently debating how to improve the safety of her house now that they had heard the news of Mason's passing.
"How many protection charms do you think is too many? And should we be positioning someone to put up more pedestrian crossing signage?" Sammy asked, as he began to pour out the bag of charms he had brought with him onto the counter top. "I mean what if that had been Jasmine the other night or Tommy or Noel? I mean what about during the full moon? You wander all the time across the street without looking both ways as a wolf. Little vests would be a bit too much for them to wear, wouldn't they?"
"Por favor, mi corazón," Manuel moved around the counter to cup his husband's face in his hands. "Vests are a bit ridiculous. Don't you think?"
"I know, I know, I just get worried with us back in New York," Sammy began to admit only for Manuel to cut him off with an even more outrageous idea.
"We should booby trap the yard and make them all download find my friends while they're at it."
Jas turning back to Tommy told her brother through a tight smile, "Help me," as she yanked him inside and walking him straight into the kitchen. "Guess whose here?"
"¡mi hijo! ¿Eres tu? ¡Mírate! Te has vuelto tan grande," Manuel exclaimed, pushing past both Sammy and Jas to pull Tommy in for a tight bear hug. While Manuel had always been the less affectionate one out of the bunch, he made an exception when it came to his children and, despite Tommy being 6"2, he still managed to pick the boy up before placing him haphazardly back down to give him a hearty pat on the back. "Hasn't he gotten so big?" He glanced back over towards his husband who was already making his way around the counter to throw his arms around Tommy as well.

END.
Squeezing her back, he just shrugged at the mention of the pack. "I know, I know. Look, if Noel joins, I will join, I promise but for now I just don't want her being alone." She was his sibling, he couldn't just join first and pressure her into joining if she didn't want to. The pack being 'family' was also more than daunting to him. He'd been there a year but still didn't know where he stood with Nico. Joining a pack with your brother-in-law as Alpha, surely there was some conflict of interest there.
Mentally shaking himself off, he made himself smile at her last comment. I wish you were right.

"Why are you the best?" She whispered out, moving to wrap her arms around her brother and ruffle the top of his head. "That's true, though that reminds me. What is with the two of you?" She asked, giving Tommy a playful shove. "You and Noel are making me look bad. Join the damn pack already. It's run by your literal family now."
"And yeah, yeah, it's cool. Even if you are still a dork though," She mused. A smile breaking across her lips as she promised him, "You couldn't even if you tried."
"Yeah, I know. I love you too." Touching his head slightly to hers, he just sighed. It made some sense but that still didn't make it right. At the mention of the Coven, his brows went up but he didn't interrupt. "I think... they are gonna be lost without you. Plus, being apart from the group isn't that bad. Noel and I have it down. You got us, and Nico."
"You can't tell me that isn't cool. Vikings in Lunar Cove." Squeezing her arm back, he gave her a mock-salute with his free hand. "I won't let you down, boss."

"I love you. You know that?" Jas told Tommy after a prolonged breath. Scotching closer to her brother in her chair, she moved to rest her head lightly on his shoulder. "Ro is loved and people are mad and to a degree rightfully so. Having your powers stripped sounds awful," She cringed slightly at the thought. "And I'm an easy counterargument in his favor, I suppose. But, hey, in a week they'll be off and then nobody will be able to say anything about the fact that I didn't do my time. That and I, um," She pressed her lips together at the thought. "I may take a step back from the Coven for a while? I've been thinking about since what went down with Ro and I think some space might be for the best, you know?"
"You are such a nerd, you know that?" She let out a small albeit endearing laugh as she gave his arm a light squeeze followed by a playful nudge. "You're hired."
"Oh, I don't blame her - I do blame everyone else. The not-so-borderline torture of having metal fused to your skin is bullshit. Especially considering there was a vote before you brought her back after a majority vote. I don't know what's going on with all the Rohan-Coven stuff but it's not the same. I just don't get why you're being punished for doing something everyone agreed to." He couldn't help the irritated sigh that escaped him as he crossed his arms over his chest. "That being said, herbs, definitely not and you're welcome."
Nodding his agreement, he grinned as he continued, "with all the crazy shit that happens here, the history is wild. I mean, there's literal Viking runes on some boulders by the coast. D'you know how cool that is? Leif Eriksson could have been in Lunar Cove, like, right where we're standing. That's insane."

"Tommy, I'm fine," She promised him, not needing to have access to her telepathy right now to know what he was thinking from the way his face visibly winced the second she rubbed at her irritated wrists. "I promise and don't go blaming Poppy for this either, okay? She was adamantly against it. It's just everyone else in town who wasn't, including other species, and I don't want anyone accusing me of getting off easy when Rohan didn't, though-" She shifted her weight forwards, eyeing him suspiciously as he dug through his bag. "Do I even want to know what this is and why you're wandering around with it? But, thanks," She admitted. The corner of her lips tilting up into a soft smile as she took the ointment from him.
"Oh good. Have at it then," She said, happy to hand it over. "And yeah, Ghost Tours have to all be rescheduled for a week from now. I only have to wear these for 7 days, so it won't be too long, but I mean if you want to, I'm not going to say not to having another tour guide? What kind of tour do you want to take? Though, let me guess- history?"
// option b
Wincing in sympathy, Tommy tried not to cringe at the sight of his sister being magically cuffed for having tried to save someone's life. "That reminds me-" He pulled out a small green tub from his backpack before dropping it back on the floor. "I know this stuff helps with cuff sores and stuff so it should help with any soreness or irritation around the edges. It's not magic so it should be fine." It was hard not to get pissed as hell at the coven for how they treated her. If it wasn't for Jas, they wouldn't even have their Supreme and yet they treated her like that, cutting of her magic and cuffing her.
Ignoring his own irritation, he pulled her book towards himself. "Luckily for you, I love scheduling." Quickly skimming it, he pointed at one of the marked sections, "unless you know other spirit raisers, Ghost Tours are currently a no-go but other than that, I could help with the tour stuff if you want? My Sundays are painfully empty."

"Oh no you don't," Jas grabbed Tommy's hand and dragged him inside before he could head off. "And we both live in the middle of the woods," She pointed out, keeping her voice hush as she shut the door behind him, not meaning to ease drop into his thoughts, but being a telepath, it was sometimes hard to remember not to, at least when it came to family.
"No te hagas el listo," Manuel tsked as he gave his son one more tight squeeze before he slowly lowered him back down, ruffling the top of his head as he did. "Don't look at me. I'm not the one who looks bigger," He countered. "And maybe if you didn't look so big, we wouldn't ask if you've gotten taller."
"We've missed you too, kiddo," Sammy promised him, giving his son's shoulders a squeeze as he moved to slide into the seat beside him. "And, eh, you know, same old, same old. Though, oh! You remember Mrs. Weathersbee from upstairs? She's apparently dating the landlord now."
"And they've been making a whole lot of unfortunate noise with no one to complain to," Manuel chimed in, shuddering at the thought, as he moved to slide into the other seat beside his son. "But, enough about us. How are you? You aren't in a secret marriage without telling us too, are you?"
"Wow. Look at that. You made it six whole seconds there, didn't you? That might be a new record," Jas rolled her eyes lightly over as she moved to come over to join them. "Oh also, Tommy, we're running out of room, but the, uh, dads are in the bedroom and while they're here, Noel is in the guest room and Nico and I are out in the RV. So, if you want to take the couch and hang out here with us, you're more the welcome to. Though, I know you don't live far from here either, so totally up to you."
With more a grimace than a smile, he paused as he listened to the possible list of precautions. "Oh, I hear them alright." Given that he lived basically in the middle of the woods, he really didn't want to know what they'd plan for his place. "Have fun with that?"
Only half joking, he let her pull him inside, the familiar kitchen seeming more homely than ever with their dads present, knick-knacks strewn over the counter and all. A grin on his face already, Tommy hugged Manuel back just as tightly, laughing slightly as he felt himself being lifted into the air for a moment. "Sí papá, soy yo." Pulling his other dad into tight hug, he added, "y'know I've been the same height for like two years?" With one last tight squeeze, he finally let Samuel go. "God, I missed you guys. How is everything? How's New York?" Pulling out a few barstools, he sat them down before sitting himself, hoping the stories would last long enough for his dear sister to finally catch her breath.
