Art Reference Packs

Hello, everyone! I’m back with some new resources to share!

 I’ve been kindly reminded by @sweetnyss-sketching​ that Noah Bradley has been recently revealed to be a predator, making my posts recommending his art references very outdated! I’d like to encourage everyone to consider buying art references from elsewhere and figured I’d give some suggestions. :)

There are a few quite stunning options on gumroad.

Figure Reference:

Grafitschool

This one is by far my favorite alternative and frankly is a far higher quality than anything from the Bradley team. This place has loads of model references, of varying kinds, expressions reference packs, and gorgeous lighting. There’s a few environment reference but not much. If you love figure drawing and lighting, these guys are for you.

Another one I really love and @sweetnyss-sketching​ recommended. This one is amazing! Such a diverse pack of reference! Including Paladin, Huntsman, Samurai, Viking, and a few notable Marvel models, such as Nick Fury and Silver Surfer!

 Environment Reference:

For the environment reference I can’t really say much about but when I can buy one of them I’ll make sure to give a little review, okay? They all look pretty decent, all worth a try, and well, with reference, I always say more is more. Give them a try, see how they fit. :)

This is set more towards photobashing, but there’s a lot of cool packs unaltered in here. I’m looking at you, New Zealand Mountains. New Zealand alone is worth a gander in here, but there’s also cool reptiles, machinary, armor, castles, etc!   nomadphotoreference

Another one geared towards photobashing, but everyone needs textures, and there are a few untouched photo reference in here. These packs tend to have less photos than the previous ones I’ve shared though!

Ending off on a strong note, check out his All the References!!! Reference Bundle, might be worth getting them all at once. He has a wide variety of gorgeous reference, omg! the Koi Fish!

 These are the shops that caught my eye, but you might find more on Gumroad. I believe there are some free packs in these links too? But Im not sure. Just something to consider when you need some new inspiration. :)
