Tasty- Chapter 3
Summary: Peter just wanted to have one night of fun. Then that night of fun almost killed him. Now it won’t stop haunting him. And he’s loving it. *Curvy/plus size, female reader Warnings: mostly smut with plot, some physical pain
Previous chapter Next chapter
Peter could feel her watching him randomly throughout the next few weeks. His spider senses were on overdrive as he went to work then patrolled at night and on the weekends. It was like she was there, but not physically there, a wisp of a shadow at the corner of his peripheral vision that he couldn’t quite catch. He started getting letters of full payment and forgiven debts, each one brightening his mood and lifting his spirits. He also found things left at his door, such as incriminating photos taken of the people he was fighting or investigating during his Spiderman hours, and once a criminal was dropped in his lap, literally, while he gave chase, both he and the criminal looking very perplexed at how they ended up that way. It was very strange, being taken care of in a way. But it was coming up on a month since he’d last seen her, and he knew the debt had to be paid soon. She would be coming for him, and the anticipation was killing him.
Peter came home one Friday night feeling her the moment he stepped foot into his apartment. He sighed heavily as he dropped his keys in the bowl by the door, kicking off his shoes and dropping his bag on the floor. “Hey Y/N,” he called out.
She seemed to materialize out of nowhere sitting at the kitchen table. “Hey handsome,” she said seductively.
Peter watched her warily as he walked to the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. He chugged it all down before turning to her. “Well…let’s get this over with.”
“You should eat something,” Y/N said nonchalantly.
“I ate earlier,” Peter said.
“Are you sure?” she asked. She seemed concerned for once, all her regular bravado melting away. Peter was surprised at the change, giving her an odd look. “Alright,” Y/N shrugged and walked towards his bedroom.
She gestured for him to sit against the headboard like before. Peter hesitated, his fight or flight kicking in, but trudged over to his bed, taking off his jacket and his pants so he would be comfortable as he passed out. “And your shirt,” Y/N said quietly. He pulled it off as he crawled up his bed and sat back against the headboard. Y/N waited for him to get comfortable before crawling up towards him. She straddled his lap like she did the night they met and set her hands on his shoulders.
Peter was tense as he kept his gaze down at her legs. “Relax, Peter,” Y/N massaged his shoulders. “I told you I would make it so it doesn’t hurt.”
“How?” Peter said, finally meeting her gaze.
“Well, we had lots of fun that first night,” she said, her hands sliding up to his neck and cradling his head. “Didn’t you have fun, Peter?”
“I–” he started then gasped as she dipped her head and kissed the side of his mouth. He gawked at her when she pulled back.
“You’re so handsome when you cum,” Y/N’s fingers scratched the nape of his neck and up into his hair. “Let me make you feel good, and you won’t even notice until I’m done.”
Peter wanted to say no. He felt pretty betrayed by her after that first night for taking advantage of him in a vulnerable state to feed. But the pleasure had been so good. And he didn’t want it to hurt like it did the first time. He felt himself nodding as his hands gripped her thighs.
“Good boy,” Y/N praised him. She started kissing all over his face, from the side of his mouth to his cheeks to his nose, until she finally took pity and kissed his lips. Peter immediately responded, his head angling to the side to deepen the kiss and his tongue tasting her. It was just as exciting as the first time and distracted him from the reason she was here. She started to grind down on his hips, making him moan into her mouth, his hands looping around her back and pulling her closer to him.
Y/N’s kisses became more frenzied and she moved to lick and suck on his neck. Peter tensed again, waiting for the impending bite, but she continued to only lick and suck, then moved to nibble on his ear. Her hands smoothed down his chest like she was exploring every curve of his body. “My good boy,” she whispered in his ear. Her voice was in his head, clouding his judgment and making him delirious with lust. “My handsome, good boy. Smell so good…” His whole body started to relax and he could feel a light scratch against his throat that didn’t hurt but was like a sweet burning sensation, the heat spreading through his skin slowly like embers. He felt her lick him heavily against the column of his throat, causing a cooling effect this time that tingled against the slow burn. “Tasty boy,” she muttered against his skin. He felt a pressure against his throat but no sharp pain as he heard her sucking from him.
Peter sighed as his hands started to slip away from her and his body slumped. His head leaned against her cheek as she continued drinking from him. Whatever it was she had done made it feel like he was just slowly falling asleep. Y/N helped him nestle down into his bed, his body feeling heavier by the second. As his consciousness started to get hazy he felt her release him and lick his neck again. She stroked her fingers through his hair and kissed his nose before he slipped into oblivion.

instead of you [part thirty-eight] || l.mh
pairing: [best friend’s brother] lee minho x college!reader ft. han jisung
summary: you didn’t expect to spend your summer pretending to be your best friend’s girlfriend- then again, you didn’t expect to fall for your best friend’s brother, either.
warnings: swearing, mentions of sex (18+ ; mdni)
word count: 2.8k
a/n: revamped my tom holland series from my main blog ( @wazzupmrstark ) to try and motivate myself to finish it!!
“You put sunscreen on, right?”
“Yes, dad.”
Jisung rolled his eyes. “I’m just trying to make sure you don’t burn.”
“Worry about yourself, lobster.”
“You need to come up with a new sunburn joke. That one is getting old.”
“I’ll go back to the drawing board, spitball a little bit,” you muttered.
Your best friend laughed. “Let me know when you land on something.”
“Aye, aye, captain.”
“Can you get my back, though?” Jisung asked.
“Sure, babe.”
You took the tube of sunblock from his hands and squeezed some into your palm. He yanked off his shirt and shoved it in his bag, turning away from you so that you could apply the sunscreen. He bent his knees a little to make it easier for you, even though he wasn’t that much taller than you.
You rubbed it in dutifully, making sure that it was all absorbed so that it wouldn’t stain his clothes when or if he put his shirt back on. When you were done, you handed the tube back to him.
“Will you do me?”
“Any day of the week,” Jisung replied, winking. “You know you don’t even have to ask, babe.”
“You two are disgusting.” You didn’t have to turn around to know who was complaining.
“We’re actually having a private conversation, Felix.”
“Well, you’re having it in the middle of a public area.”
Jisung rolled his eyes but didn’t say anything else, thankfully. It was too early in the morning to deal with their bickering.
You had woken up at dawn to make the drive over to Turtle Beach. According to the internet, the best time of day to see the sea turtles was in the morning, so that’s when you were going. No one was in a particularly good mood in the car on the way to the North Shore. It was silent. Dom tried turning the radio on at one point but Nikki immediately turned it off.
“We’ll be getting coffee after this,” Dom assured everyone, which seemed to lift the spirits at least a little bit.
It was already crowded when Dom found a parking spot on the side of the road. He was able to snag it as another car was pulling out.
People were clustered in groups around the rocks that lined the shore, holding their phones out to take pictures of what you assumed to be the turtles.
Minho had found a parking spot a little further away so he and Felix joined the rest of you a few minutes later.
That’s when the sunscreen was applied and promises of caffeine were made. You waited for your sunscreen to dry before putting your coverup back on and walking down to the beach with the Hans. You weren’t swimming at this beach, not many people did because they didn’t want to disrupt the turtles, but Nikki had made everyone put on sunblock anyway because you’d still be standing in direct sunlight.
The dropoff from the road to the sand was a bit steep and you stumbled trying to step down from the asphalt and tie the back of your coverup at the same time.
“Baby, let me,” Jisung said, pushing past his brothers to get to you. He chuckled. “That could’ve been bad. You should have just asked me to help you, or waited until we got down there.”
“I would’ve been fine,” you said, brushing it off. “Probably.”
“Knowing you, you probably would’ve hit your head on a rock or something.”
You ignored that comment because he was right and you didn’t want to give him the satisfaction.
The beach was kind of short even at low tide. Some mangrove trees offered a little bit of shade but that was already being monopolized by other tourists.
“I guess everyone read the same article we read,” Felix muttered.
“Seems like it,” Dom agreed.
“Should we go over there?” Minho asked, pointing to a moderately small crowd at the edge of the bay.
“I don’t see why not,” his dad said. “We can also split up if we want to. We don’t have to stay together.”
You looked at Jisung who just shrugged. “We can do whatever you want.”
“I don’t care,” you argued. “They’re your family.”
“Good point. Let’s go the other direction.”
You rolled your eyes and followed Jisung left while the other four went right. He wove in between the crowds, looking for turtles that the masses might not have spotted yet. You did the same, even though you were doubtful the two of you would find anything that the other tourists hadn’t.
You were shocked at how clear the water was. After the other beaches you’d already seen on this trip, you didn’t think it was possible for clearer water to exist. The visibility was insane. You could see every tiny detail, every bump and groove of the rocks, every grain of sand. The only thing diluting the view of everything was the white foam that washed ashore with the waves when they broke.
You took your phone out of your back pocket to snap a few pictures of the water and Jisung gave you a funny look.
“There aren’t any turtles here,” he said.
“I want a picture of the view,” you explained.
“Oh, that makes sense. Yeah, it’s beautiful.”
He watched you snap a few pictures and then offered to take some of you but you declined out of embarrassment.
“A bunch of people are doing it! Why would you be embarrassed?”
“I’m not good at posing for pictures! I always feel so awkward, especially when it’s just me.”
“Do you want us to take a picture together, then?”
“Yeah, I’d like that.”
Jisung pulled his own phone from his pocket and ushered you over to his side. You get close to him and rest your head on his shoulder, smiling softly. He waits for a good wave to appear in the background and then takes a couple selfies.
He taps on the gallery icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to check the pictures and shows you.
“Oh, these are cute. Can you airdrop them to me later?”
“Course.”
Then, Jisung squinted a little harder at his screen, zooming in on something.
“What is that?” he asked you, shoving the phone into your face.
“I don’t know, it’s so pixely- and your hands are shaking.”
Jisung took the phone back. “Is that...”
He didn’t even finish the question before he was whipping around and marching toward the water without explaining, leaving you to stay standing where you were like an idiot or follow him aimlessly. You chose the latter.
“We found one!” he exclaims when you catch up with him, pointing at a dark mass in the water that had also been in the back of your pictures. You replicated his position to be able to see whatever it was more clearly and gasped when you realized it was a sea turtle.
It was a little further out than the ones that everyone was already ogling over which was probably why no one else had spotted it yet. Their dark shells also tended to blend in with the rocks, adding another layer of difficulty to the search.
“Should we call your family over?” you asked.
“Only if you’re cool with a bunch of other people swarming us.”
“You’re right, that might not be great. Especially if people start recognizing Minho.”
Jizung nodded. “Then we’d never get out of here. I’ll go run and get them. You stay here with the turtle.”
He didn’t give you a chance to respond before he was off. Seemed to be a pattern today.
“She still here?” Jisung asked when he came back, the rest of his family members in tow.
You were confused before you understood that he was referring to the turtle. Apparently, he had decided its pronouns in the time he was gone.
“Yeah, she’s a little closer too,” you answered.
You pointed at the shadow in the water and all of the Hans craned their necks to see it.
“Holy shit, it's huge,” Felix commented.
“It must be really old,” Jisung added. “That’s a thing, right? The bigger a sea turtle is, the older it is?”
His brothers shrugged. “No idea.”
“Crush from Finding Nemo was like one hundred and five and he wasn’t that big,” Minho pointed out.
“You’re going off of Finding Nemo for your marine biology information?” Jisung deadpanned.
“You’re just making stuff up off the top of your head!”
“No, I heard it somewhere!”
“Does anyone have service? We could Google it,” Felix suggested.
“No, there’s none over here,” you muttered.
“Look, here she comes!” Nikki exclaimed.
You weren’t sure whether the turtle was actually coming closer or if she just wanted her sons to stop bickering, but they did and turned their attention toward the ocean.
Eventually, the sea turtle did come a little closer, close enough to be able to take pictures where people would be able to tell what they were looking at.
The six of you all standing at the edge of the water looking at the same thing was bound to draw attention eventually so you took pictures and videos until you were satisfied and then headed back to the cars.
“Minho, follow the directions I sent you to Waimea Falls,” Dom instructed. “We’re going to stop for coffee on the way over there so you should tail me but you should also have the address in case you lose us.”
Minho nodded. “Same cars?”
“We can switch it up, if you want. I’m sure Felix would love to be alone with his folks for forty-five minutes straight.”
“Wait, you said the drive was only twenty minutes,” Felix piped up.
“It is, but your mother and I could make it forty-five just for you.”
“We can all fit in my car,” Minho added, ignoring his dad.
“Wow, so I’m not good enough for you?” Felix scoffed.
“Yes, that’s exactly what I meant by that.”
“I’m good to ride with mum and dad but y/n, you should go with Felix and Minho to save them from each other.”
“You don’t want to come?” you asked, already knowing the answer.
“Nah. I mean, Minho’s right, we would all fit but it wouldn’t be that comfortable, especially for a long ride. Besides, it would be rude to leave Mom and Dad by themselves.”
“What are you talking about?” Felix muttered. “They love to be by themselves. Why do you think they keep ditching us at every possible opportunity?”
“It’ll be nice to have some time with Jisung,” Nikki counters, taking Jisung by his shoulders. “He’s been gone at uni for so long, we haven’t gotten to see him since Christmas.”
“You’ve been seeing me for over a month straight,” Jisung mumbled, sounding a lot like Felix just had.
“You know what I mean,” his mom said, exasperated.
You hadn’t really thought of that. You had been so focused on being the loving, devoted girlfriend that you always made sure to be around so that everyone could bear witness to your relationship. You hadn’t considered the fact that Jisung’s parents might have wanted to spend time with their son one-on-one, or two-on-one. You had unintentionally been hogging their son this whole time.
“Oh, that’s a great idea,” you agreed, just to let them know that you weren’t upset. “I’m sorry, I’ve been keeping him all to myself.”
“Nonsense, love,” Nikki assured you, “I didn’t mean it like that at all.”
“I know, I know, I just still feel bad.”
“Don’t feel bad. You’re his partner, you’re part of this family now too.”
You smiled appreciatively but couldn’t bring yourself to respond. Would you still be considered part of the family if you suddenly became Minho’s girlfriend? Broke one son’s heart and moved on to the next- it wouldn’t be a good look, that’s for sure.
“It’s settled then,” Jisung said, clapping his hands together in finality. “We’ll see you guys there.”
Minho’s rental car was still parked on the side of the road, but it was down the hill a bit. It was pretty steep, and the pavement was uneven. You could feel two pairs of eyes watching you as you made your way along the path. You wanted to tell Minho and Felix that they didn’t have to be so vigilant, that you weren’t that clumsy. But to be fair, you had almost just ate shit like twenty minutes ago walking in the sand. Okay, maybe they were right for that.
You made it to the car without incident and climbed into the back seat. Minho plugged the address into his phone’s GPS, which synced to the car’s ApplePlay, and reversed out of the spot. He drove up a ways and then stopped behind Dom’s car so that he could reverse without dealing with the traffic. It was a smart move on Minho’s part. He was ensuring he wouldn’t get cut off by someone else, that way he could follow his dad without having to guess which lane he was in or which car he was in front of, etc.
As the passenger, Felix was in charge of the music (as long as Minho approved of it, since the driver did have veto power). He turned it to a local island reggae station and all three of you seemed to enjoy that.
While Minho drove, Felix showed you pictures he’d taken on his camera at Turtle Beach.
“I’ve been taking them the whole trip, but I only have so much storage on an SD card, you know? I’ve uploaded the rest to my computer. We can look at them later, if you want.”
“I’d love to! Have you looked at them yet?”
“I’ve just skimmed them,” he answered. “But if they turn out anything like these I think I’ll have a pretty solid portfolio after this trip.”
“Yeah, these are incredible! You’ll have to show Minho when we stop.” Felix made a noncommittal noise. “What? They’re great!”
“I’m glad you think so. Unfortunately, when it comes to my photography and videography, the wow factor has mostly worn off for my brothers. Even Minho, who’s supposed to be an performer, can’t pretend to be impressed anymore.”
“Harsh.”
“You’re telling me.”
“I guess they picked Dunkin,” Minho said, entirely ignoring the conversation you and Felix were having about him as he turned into the shopping center’s parking lot.
“Fine with me,” you said.
“It was probably the quickest choice,” Felix mused. “I would like to try some local coffee shops, though. Hawai’i is known for their coffee.”
“Maybe tomorrow we can look for one,” you offered.
He grinned. “I’m down.”
-
The drive-thru line wasn’t that long, thankfully. Minho ordered for the three of you all on the same ticket to speed things along too. He pretended not to hear you when you offered to pay for yourself.
Dom waited for your car in a parking spot by the exit to the main road. Minho did what he’d done before and waited for his dad to pull out before following him.
“Make sure to drink all of that before we get to the park,” Minho said as he passed out the cups. “I don’t think we’re allowed to bring outside food or drink inside. Yo, I didn’t mean you had to chug it right now,” he clarified.
You pulled your iced coffee away from your lips guiltily. “Sorry.”
“The drive is like twenty minutes, remember? You have time to finish it.”
“I remember.”
“So then why-”
“I don’t know, it felt like the right thing to do.”
“You’ve been in uni for too long,” he decided, shaking his head.
“Maybe she just needs the caffeine to hit faster,” Felix suggested defensively.
“Exactly, thank you, Lix.”
He gave you a smile of acknowledgment in the rearview mirror and a thumbs up. You sipped your coffee slowly as Minho drove through the winding mountains of Oahu, resting your forehead against the window. You knew there’d be sunscreen residue to clean off of it later but the cool glass felt nice against your skin.
You tuned Minho and Felix out until you heard your name. That’s when you sat up again and rejoined the conversation.
“Hm?”
“Min just asked what I think Jisung is talking about with our parents right now and I said they’re probably giving him a lecture about not losing you,” Felix explained.
You made a face. “What?”
“You know, like telling him he better treat you well or whatever parents say to their kids when they want a son or daughter-in-law.”
Your eyes shifted to Minho before you could stop them. His grip on the steering wheel tightened just enough to make his knuckles turn white but he kept his expression calm.
“Oh, I don’t know about that,” you mumbled.
“I bet they’ll at least bring it up,” Felix countered. “They love you!”
You forced a smile and sunk down in your seat. Not for long.
lmk what you think i always appreciate feedback!!

Hi I was wondering if you could do a Tom Holland x reader one where we find out if Tom is one of an ass or boob kind of guy? Or maybe even a thigh kind of guy?
oooh shit here we go
send me ur thoughts
the boys were in the living room, watching the game as the girls hung out in the kitchen. everyone was over to watch the game at yours and tom’s place, which seemed to be the hangout spot.
neither of you minded, however. you loved hosting and tom loved having his friends over. it was a win win.
“okay, but the real question is,” haz started, “ass or boobs?”
as a series of responses came out of everyone’s mouth, tom stayed silent. smirking as he took a sip of his beer.
“wait, tom, what’s your answer?”
he shrugged, “neither.”
everyone groaned as tuwaine spoke up, “if you answer ‘personality’ right now, i swear.”
everyone laughed and tom shook his head, “nah, i mean, that’s important to everyone but, still not my answer.”
“well then, what is your answer?”
he smirked, “hear me out, lads,” he said, “thighs.”
everyone’s eyebrows rose and a couple of them nodded, “alright.”
“yeah, okay. i can get behind that.”
“what does y/n have good legs?” harry asked and tom chuckled.
“yeah, she does.”
“y’know, thick thighs save lives, right?” tuwaine said and everyone laughed. you had come into the room a few seconds after, sitting down next to tom as the boys chatted. he smiled over at you.
“get tired of the girls?” he asked and you rolled your eyes playfully at him, taking the beer out of his hands. he laughed a little louder, grabbing the beer back from you as you made a face, shaking your head while swallowing.
“now, we all know you don’t like beer? so what was the point of that?” he asked, chuckling.
his free hand fell to your thigh. thumb drawing circles against the smooth skin that was exposed due to your shorts.
“just making sure,” you said, still making a slight face, “tastes like-.”
“like piss,” he finished the sentence you always say whenever you have a sip of his beer, you laughed softly, “yep, there it is.”

instead of you [part fifty-six]
pairing: [best friend’s brother] tom holland x college!reader
summary: you didn’t expect to spend your summer pretending to be your best friend’s girlfriend- then again, you didn’t expect to fall for your best friend’s brother, either.
warnings: swearing, angst, continued smut (18+)
word count: 2k
series masterlist + read the next chapter early on ko-fi!!
“Tom, what if we get caught?” you whispered, panting in his ear.
It was hard to think straight while sitting on his dick but fragments of worries still bounced around in the back of your mind, vague reminders that what you were doing was illegal. It wasn’t as if you were some kind of saint, but you weren’t trying to get yourself on a registered sex offender list- especially not in Hawai’i of all places.
“We won’t,” he assured you, “anyone who sees us will just think we’re cuddling.”
“Anyone with common sense will know exactly what we’re doing,” you muttered back.
“Do you want to stop?”
Tom held you still on top of him, fingers digging into your hips to stop you from moving. You didn’t answer right away.
“Baby?” he prompted, squeezing you tighter.
The pet name startled you back into the present moment, making you stare down at Tom, blinking at him in surprise. He chuckled and freed one of his hands to rub your lower back under the hem of your shirt.
“I don’t want to stop,” you confessed. “But if we get caught, I’m killing you.”
“If we get caught, my career is over,” he corrected, reminding you that there were more important things for him to worry about than yourself.
You always managed to forget that Tom was famous. Not even just famous, he was a fucking household name. If he were to get in trouble for something like this it would make international news. And Sam’s parents would find out. Logically, you knew that his family finding out paled in comparison to the entire world finding out, but the first possibility was more daunting to you. Still, the idea of going viral for fucking Spider-Man on the beach was not something you wanted for yourself.
“Maybe we shouldn’t then-” you said and started to lift yourself off of him.
“I want to,” Tom assured you. “But I don’t want you not to enjoy yourself because you’re worried about someone seeing. We can take this back to the car if you want, or the hotel, or we can be done for the night.”
You slumped forward, resting against his chest and letting him hold you. You didn’t want to cut it short but you knew you wouldn’t be able to fully relax if you were thinking about every worst case scenario possible.
“Can we go back to the hotel?”
He nodded. “Of course we can.”
“I’m sorry.”
“No, none of that. Don’t be sorry. I want you to be comfortable, yeah? The whole point of sex is to enjoy it.”
You nodded in agreement even though you still felt a little guilty. Tom stood and then helped you to your feet. He gathered up the blanket you’d been sitting on and shook it off. He handed you one side of the blanket and kept hold of the other so that you could fold it nicely.
“Where’d you even get this from?” you asked.
“What, the blanket?”
“Yeah, have you been carrying that around in your luggage this whole time?”
“No, I took it from the couch in my hotel room.”
“Tom!”
“What? I’m going to put it back!”
“It’s all dirty now, though.”
“I’ll wash it,” he assured you. “There are a lot of laundromats around here. Now come on, let’s head back before it gets too late.”
You furrowed your eyebrows at him in confusion. “How do you know that? Do you keep a running tab of every laundromat you come across?”
He led you by the hand back up the beach to the pathway to the parking lot, turning his head ever so slightly when he answered you so that you could hear him. “No, I just pay attention.”
“Shocking.”
Tom turned away from you again but you could see him shaking his head. You assumed he was also rolling his eyes at you.
He threw the blanket in the trunk once you reached the car, and climbed back into the driver’s seat.
“I don’t suppose you want to take the wheel this time?” he asked after you had already buckled your seatbelt. “Since you do have an American driver’s license?”
You gave him a look. “Yeah, but it’s illegal for me to drive this car since I’m not listed on the rental paperwork as a driver.”
“You think we’ll get pulled over?”
“We might! I’m also not old enough, remember?”
He grinned as he put the car in reverse “I know. I was just kidding.”
“Rubbing it in my face again?”
“Of course.”
The drive back to the resort was comfortable. Tom pointed out every single laundromat you passed, even after you told him he’d made his point and didn’t have to keep doing so. You were the one to reach for his hand this time, threading your fingers between his without hesitation. He smiled to himself when you did that and squeezed your hand affectionately, something that did not go unnoticed by you.
The spot in the hotel parking lot the two of you had left earlier was still open when you returned. Apparently no one else liked to be out late, even on vacation.
You let go of Tom’s hand to get out of the car and didn’t grab it again as you walked into the lobby.
“Are you tired?” Tom asked once you reached the elevators. You knew the question he was actually asking was whether or not you were too tired to go upstairs with him. This was just his not so subtle way of asking.
“I was tired when you dragged me out of bed but I’m too horny to sleep now.”
He grinned. “My room, then?”
“No, let’s fuck in my room,” you said sarcastically. “I’m sure your brother would love that.”
“Hilarious.”
“Thank you.”
The bell on the elevator dinged, announcing its arrival and you shuffled in together. Tom placed a hand on the small of your back and leaned forward to press the button for the eleventh floor, settling back against the wall next to you once it lit up and started to ascend.
He dropped his hand again when the elevator reached his floor. You missed the warmth instantly. You knew the little things like that shouldn’t hurt your feelings. You weren’t a couple. He was too recognizable to be seen with anyone and have it not cause a fuss. Still, you found yourself wishing things could be different. It stung, even though it shouldn’t.
Tom stopped in front of what you assumed to be his door and fished in his pocket for the room key. He waved the card in front of the sensor, the electronic lock blinking green on the first try.
The room was dark, but Tom turned the entryway light on so that you were able to see into the space. His room was nearly identical to you and Sam’s. The only difference was that the bed was against the opposite wall.
“You’re not sharing with Harry this time?” you asked at the realization that there was only one bed instead of two.
“Our parents wanted us to, but we were getting pretty sick of each other so we decided to split the cost of an extra room.”
“Uh-huh, and it had nothing to do with this?” You gestured in between the two of you to emphasize the ‘this’ you were referring to.
“No, no, not at all!” Tom insisted, hand to his heart. “I promise, I didn’t bring you out to the beach just so we could have sex. I didn’t expect for us to- I just wanted to talk.”
Your mind went back to the moment where Tom had seemed lost in thought, like he wanted to say something important and then decided against it at the last minute. Was that what he meant? Or were you reading too much into it?
“I meant to tell you earlier,” he continued, “I didn’t want you to think that.”
“Oh okay,” you said, mostly because you weren’t sure what else to say. “It’s not a big deal if that was why you wanted to go somewhere. It’s not like we really do anything other than hook up anyway.”
“Not because I don’t want to! It’s just, it’s not like we can do normal couple stuff.”
“You’d... want to do that with me?”
He quirked an eyebrow at you. “Yeah? Why wouldn’t I?”
Instead of choosing to address that, you pivoted. “Um, do you mind if I rinse off before we do anything else?”
Tom didn’t answer right away. He stood there staring at you with a look of concern on his face, bottom lip pulled in between his teeth as he tried to discern your sudden change in mood. “No, of course I don’t mind. But... are you okay? Did I say something wrong?”
You shook him off and lied. “No. I just feel gross from the beach. Did you want to join me or not?”
-
“Is this really necessary?” you grumbled, glaring at Sam as he rifled through the items on the rack.
“Yes!” he exclaimed.
The boys were going golfing, and being the good fake girlfriend you were, you had no other choice but to tag along. You wouldn’t be playing, thank god, but you had to cheer Sam on, and apparently had to dress the part to do so. You didn’t have anything suitable for the golf course so Nikki had suggested Sam take you downstairs to the gift shop to find something to wear.
The resort you were staying at was right across from the course so the gift shop was full of golf novelties and athletic wear for your... convenience.
“These are expensive!” you hissed at Sam once you checked the prices.
“You’re not the one paying for them,” he reminded you.
“I know, that’s worse!”
“You know how much he makes right? Besides, I’m sure your real boyfriend will love it on you.”
“He’s not my boyfriend, you know that.”
Sam looked annoyed. “Boyfriend, fuck buddy, booty call, sneaky link- whatever you want to call him.”
“Can we not talk about this?” you practically begged. “At least not here?”
He shrugged but dropped it. “You should get the polo and the skirt. It matches what I’m going to wear.”
You took Sam’s advice and bought the items he suggested, paying for them with your own money. Even though they were pricey and you knew you would likely never wear them again, you wanted to exercise at least a little bit of financial freedom. You already felt guilty for the money the Hollands had spent on you thus far.
You thought about keeping the tags on the clothes and then returning them later, but it was hot out today and you knew you’d just sweat right through them.
Sam did buy you a little visor without you knowing. He presented it to you with a smug grin as soon as you stepped foot outside the gift shop, once it was too late to stop him. It was embroidered with a little cartoon quokka on the brim.
“We’re not in Australia,” you said, blinking down at the hat.
“Yeah, but it’s cute, right?”
“It’s really cute,” you quickly agreed. “Thank you.”
“Just thought you’d like it.”
He handed you the hat and then set off ahead of you back towards the elevators. You shook your head and scoffed out of earshot. You couldn’t figure him out. Last night he had made it clear that he wasn’t ready to talk, wasn’t ready to forgive you, and this morning he was talking to you like nothing had happened and buying you a sun visor because he saw it and thought you would like it? His mixed signals would give you a headache if you thought about them too long, but it was impossible not to. It was all you could think about. He was all you could think about. Well, him and Tom.
You felt like an underdeveloped main character in a low-budget coming of age movie who only had enough brainpower to think about boys. Fucking exhausting, all of it. But what were you supposed to do?
i think i might do away with my taglist since it's been so long... idk if everyone's still interested you know ;-; anyway lmk what you think i always appreciate feedback!!

Follow-Up Question, If Hobie does not receive more screentime or plot importance in BTSV -
I was thinking about Hobie - not just his plot importance, but his fan reception as well.
Me and my Marvel-obsessed mother were talking about this, and discussing the similarities between Hobie's new popularity
- and Loki's popularity after The Avengers.
Both originally supposed to be side characters there to aid the plot of a bigger narrative, they've gained huge amounts of popularity within a short time.
Despite original intentions, Loki went on to be a fan favorite for years. During the era of The Avengers, his fandom was small - but as we progressed on to Endgame, the fandom perception and love of such character shaped and charged his place within the MCU - and he died a hero.
Today the Loki show just finished it's second season - and it's the primary IP Marvel is using to push their next phase of Kang the Conqueror.
The love of the fandom shaped the canon in a way that we are still seeing years later.
And now seeing a new hit side-character, I can't help but wonder what's next in store for Hobie?
The creators know the love for him. They put hundreds of hours on designing his world and home, and that concept art can be used in the future.
Plus, with BTSV - We'll be entering a new phase of Spider-Man.
After BTSV will be the first time in almost a decade, that we haven't had a Spider-man franchise.
Spiderman 3 came out 2007 - followed by TASM in 2012, a five year gap.
The TASM series ran two movies, but was cancelled before it's completion, with TASM2 coming out in 2014. Instead the IP was negotiated with Marvel.
Without much delay, the helm was handed to Tom Holland.
Two years later, around the time TASM3 would be released, MCU Spidey made his first appearance in Civil War - 2016.
Tom would go on to complete his trilogy, the most recent coming out in 2021.
Two years later, now - we have the most recent - BTSV.
But for the past decade, we've been getting consistent Spider-Man content.
Despite the break from covid-Tom has completed his three as well as appeared in multiple mainline MCU movies. Abs although he's implied to be returning - we have no idea when or how.
BTSV will be the last in the Spiderverse trilogy.
After BTSV, There's no more scheduled Spider-Movies.
For the past two decades audiences and fandoms have been accustomed to Spider-Man movies being in theatres routinely, every two years
- The longest gap being 5 years, over a decade and a half ago.
When the Spider-man vacuum comes, do you think people will notice?
Who will be there to fill the void?
What is the next Spider-man story that will make it to screen?
And would you be interested in Hobie being that story?
Do you think it's possible? I'm curious!

this is so random but do u have a headcannon that remus is bigger than james? bc i feel like i get that vibe from the gilded constellations writing. nothing wrong if u do ofc i just always thought with james being so devoted to quidditch he’d be kinda beefy (i also know a lot of other ppl hc him like that too in their writing so i’m used to it). just asking ofc cuz i wanted to make sure, no hate <333
Hey love! I definitely see Rem as the biggest, or well, at least the tallest. You see, Harry is kinda short, and while I do think James was taller than Harry, even taller than Sirius, I don't think he was taller than Rem.
Having said that, I do think James is the beefiest, or at least he has the most defined muscles between the boys, since, like you mentioned, he is a quidditch player (and crazy about it).
So, let's say Remus is as defined as Loki (from the series), and James is like Bucky from like the second movie, or maybe like Sam Winchester season 7 (I don't think he was as big as let's say Captain America for example)
As for Sirius, my shortest baby, I think he is also pretty well defined but more on the skinnier side, like Tobey Mcguire or Tom Holland when they played Spiderman.
Does that make sense?
Actually, scratch that, I decided to a mini google search for references and while my search history is now filled with shirtless dudes, I think I found a good deal of references for the body shapes I headcannon them as.
Side not: Tobey was freaking ripped when he did Spiderman? Like why do I remember him as chubby cute? Man was Beefy Cute!
Anyway, that would be my reference for Remus now.
Then I found a pic of Tom Hiddleston from Only Lovers Left Alive and it fit Sirius like a fucking glove.
Lastly, James, who I headcannon as the beefiest, would be about the size of Tom Hiddleston in that one Loki scene. Like especially back width wise, if that makes sense? I think James has a way sharper shoulder-to-waist ratio than the other two boys.
But, also sometimes I just see James as Aaron, so I just picture him exactly like he looked in Nowhere Boy lol. Or sometimes as Beefy as he was as Quick Silver, so it varies from fic to fic.
But Remus is 100% the tallest in my head.

Word Diary
Chapter one: Whelve
Summary: Tom comes back from a hectic year to find his ex from his teens in his parents’ house. She’s got big plans for herself and all of Tom’s brothers know, he’s a risk for her.
Series warnings: Smut, exes to lovers, pining, additional warnings per chapter
Tom came home for the holidays on December twentieth of 2020 but was not expecting to see what he saw in his childhood home on that day. His mother sits there indulging in conversation with a friend she’s had since Tom was born.
“Tom! Honey! Look who’s here!” She points to her friend who’s been playing with a puppy.
“Hello Holly. It’s good to see you.” But it’s still really awkward given the history… but then again, Holly doesn’t know the history.
“Tom honey, come see Rosalind’s new puppy! His name is Cerberus.” Tom’s brows raise a little more when he hears the name.
Instead of kneeling and playing with the puppy immediately, he stands there for a second wondering if this is real or not.
He hears laughing from the kitchen, and then his younger brother Sam walks out with Holly’s daughter, Rosalind and a few dishes for dinner.
Once he sees Rosalind, everything stops for him. She’s wearing that smile she used to wear around him when they were alone and no one knew. The one he hasn’t seen in years. The one he’s dreamt of. The one Harrison has made fun of him for fantasizing over. The one he’s had no luck finding in any other girl. The one he fell in love with right before he left for carpentry school. It still hasn’t changed.
She looks up for a moment at him and her smile fades so she quickly leaves with Sam as he tells another story.
Harry of course notices and texts the brothers group chat calling an emergency meeting.
BROTHERS GROUPCHAT
Harry:Meeting in Paddy’s room. ASAP
Sam:why?
Paddy:Yeah and why my room?
Harry:All will be explained. Just get there
Tom:I just got home. Can it wait?
NON FAMOUS HOLLANDS
Harry: Tom’s still in love with Roz. He’s either gonna be a dick or a loser if we don’t talk to him about it. That’s why we need a meeting.
Sam: Seriously? Still? He was such a dick last time they saw each other.
Paddy: Agreed
Sam: If he starts acting like that again she might not just leave for Paris for school, she could leave forever
Harry: Thus why something. Needs. To. Be. Done.
Paddy: Meeting in my room
All of the brothers get to Paddy’s room in a short few minutes. And Tom is told to sit on his bed while the twins get ready to interrogate him and paddy guards the door.
“I saw the way you looked at her Tom,” Harry starts.
Tom tries (and fails) to bullshit through this conversation, “what are you talking about?”
“We’re talking about you being awkward about Roz being here,” Sam chimes.
“Roz is like a sister to us, and we’ve seen you fuck it up with her to the point where she left the fucking country,” Harry says, “so whatever your thinking about her, stop. She’s too good for you and everyone knows it but you apparently.”
Tom gets angry at his younger brothers for trying to tell him what to do. He has since they were all little… well, little-er. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Rosalind left so she go to ballet school in Paris. That had nothing to do with me.”
Now it’s Paddy’s turn to speak up, “Oh yeah? When was the last time you talked to her?”
5 years almost. Right before he went to carpentry school.
“Exactly.” “We lost a sister because you were a fucking asshole.” Sam crosses his arms. “And she probably wouldn’t have come back if it wasn’t for that other dick.” His twin copies his gesture.
‘Does Roz have an ex?’ He wonders. She does not. The dick that Tom’s brothers are referring to is Rosalind’s father, who just got his mistress pregnant. Rosalind moved back to England to support her mother during the divorce.
“Look, mates,” Tom starts, “do you even know what happened between me and Roz?” It’s silent for a moment. “Exactly. So don’t assume that just because I used to like her, I’ll automatically still be in love with her. I’m not. Nor have I ever been!”
What Tom didn’t know was that Rosalind heard everything that just happened.
Instead of busting in on them, she just goes back downstairs and decides to text Sam that his dish was ready.
“Shit, my foods done,” he states, “let’s call this a wrap for now and follow up later.”
The lot of them sit at the table eating the food Sam made.
Most if the conversation is made up by Tom’s parents and Rosalind’s mother. She compliments Sam on the food.
“Thank you so much, Holly. Roz made desert too, and it looks absolutely delicious. What’d you say it was?” Sam asks the girl.
“Lavender vanilla bean beignets.” She informs.
“My mouth is already watering with anticipation! That sounds lovely.” Tom’s father comments.
Roz has always been bashful when someone compliments her. Tom has always found it adorable… which is why he would compliment her any chance he had when they were teenagers.
“My friend’s mother taught me the recipe. She said it was a family recipe and I’m not allowed to tell anyone… so please don’t ask.” She jokes.
“Damn. That sucks. I was gonna ask for it.” Sam says.
Rosalind smiles lightly.
“So, Rosalind,” Nikki calls for the girl’s attention, “do you have any plans for tomorrow?”
“Moving into my new flat, meeting up with some old friends, and then I have a date.”
Holly’s mother peeps up, “be careful, darling. Unless you’re lucky enough to marry a Holland, men tend to disappoint.”
Holly doesn’t know about Roz and Tom. That they used to see each other after the sun went down, sneaking out of each other’s windows to mess around.
Holly was a nurse who usually worked nights and Rosalind’s father was just an idiot who didn’t notice Tom taking the condoms.
“Trust me Mum. I know.” Rosalind’s eyes shift up to Tom for less than a second but it’s enough for the other boys to notice. Harry kicks his shin.
“Actually, I should probably get going now. There’s a lot of stuff I need to unpack. And Cerberus is getting sleepy. But I do hope you all enjoy desert.” She politely gets up from the table.
Nikki clicks her tongue, “Oh, darling! I was so hoping you could stay so we could discuss our plans for Christmas! And Tom just got back from filming. It’d be so lovely if you’d stay.”
“Love, if it’s just unpacking I’m sure one of the boys could help you tomorrow.” Dom says.
It’s true. All four boys would be more than willing. But it would be far too soon for Roz to be ok with it.
“No no. It’s ok. I also have to figure out some choreo for some clients.”
“Well let me help you with your stuff.” Sam offers.
“So what exactly is your new job?” He asks once they’re alone.
Rosalind clips Cerberus’s collar and leash, “I’m a new ballerina for the royal ballet company. And when there’s time, I choreograph for musicians.”
He nods and grabs an umbrella. “You might want this.”
She smiles at the nostalgia, “I can’t believe you’ve had this in your umbrella bin all this time! Thank you Sammy.”
“You know you’re still the only person who gets to call me that.” He laughs
“What? Not even your girlfriend?”
“That’s still pretty new.” He explains, “you would have met her tonight, but she had her own family thing.”
“Well I’d love to meet her.” Rosalind pulls the strap of her bag onto her shoulder before opening the door. “And thanks for setting me up on that date.” She calls out before patting her thigh for Cerberus to follow her. She waved one last time to the boy before leaving on her way.
Little did either of them know that Tom heard the entire conversation between them.
“What the hell, Sam!” He claps his brother on the back once Rosalind is out of eyesight and earshot.
Sam shrugs, “You know, for a guy who said he was never in love with her, you seem to care an awful lot. Maybe I should set you up with someone too.” With that, Sam walks back inside.

Iron Man 3 as best Phase 2 movie? Ooh, that's an intriguing take. I remember everybody hating it when it came out for the Mandarin twist (which is moot now thanks to Shang-Chi and that one short film) and Tony telling a terrorist his address on live TV with no plan after that. I can still remember Honest Trailers ripping into it. But admittedly I haven't seen it since 2013, so is it actually a great movie and I just didn't realise?
I can’t believe people have a problem with Iron Man 3. It’s some of the best Marvel has to offer period.
“Tony doxxing himself on live tv with no plan was really dumb” yeah no shit! It’s hard to remember this in a post “everyone acts like cinemasins” world but not every characters actions are logically justifiable. You know who else tells Tony that was the dumbest shit they’ve ever seen? Literally everyone around him!
The crux of the movie is that Tony is being dangerously self destructive because he has severe PTSD from the EVERYTHING he’s been through and also feels as though the entire world rests squarely on his shoulders. Tony believes he owes the world his life as penance for being blind to the horrors Stark Industries contributed to the world while he went off and partied. The whole movie is a character piece about Tony realizing that he is metaphorically and literally letting Iron Man kill him, and that it’s not fair to the people who love him to keep doing that.
It’s also just extremely solid as a movie. The villain is fun and his plan is diabolical, the mandarin twist was fucking cool and literally circumvented the movie having mega racist undertones and instead made a point about using the War on Terror and the racism of the American people for militaristic and political gain (which is something Iron Man loves to do), and there’s some great scenes and characters!
The team of Iron Man suits all showing up to help save the president at the end? Peak cinema. Happy watching Downton Abbey in the hospital because Tony remembers it’s his favorite show while he visits him in his coma and so he asks for it to be turned on? I may cry. Pepper finally getting to have cool scenes that don’t amount to bickering with Tony because we remembered she’s a person? About damn time!
Dude I am still so fuckin bummed that Harley never showed up past being at Tony’s funeral-he’s such a reflection of Tony and also a plucky young science boy who throws snowballs at walking bombs to save people like holy shit that’s Spider-Man before Spider-Man was out get that little shitster a mini series where he and Tom Holland fight crime together.
I love Tony Stark, I think he’s the most nuanced character in The Avengers lineup and Iron Man 3 is the perfect culmination of everything Tony is, was, and will be. Having a problem with it because “Tony makes bad choices” is to have a problem with most of the movies starring Tony, which is hilarious considering Tony is the most popular character in The Avengers lineup pre Civil War and it’s not even close.

Tasty- FINAL Chapter 4
Summary: Peter just wanted to have one night of fun. Then that night of fun almost killed him. Now it won’t stop haunting him. And he’s loving it. *Curvy/plus size, female reader Warnings: mostly smut with plot, some physical pain
Previous chapter
Peter woke up the next morning to an empty apartment. Y/N left him a note with some pictures:
Hey Tasty Boy,
Thank you for last night. Don’t stress about any arachnid related activities, I got you covered. Hope these help. See you in a month.
Sugar Mama
Peter smiled at the note and looked at the pictures. She had caught the Prowler making an arms deal, the pictures clearly showing his face and the faces of those he was working with. He rolled his eyes. She’s going to beat me out of my job. Under the pictures was a stack of bills equaling $7000. He just stared at the money after he counted it. She really was his sugar mama.
The months went by and Peter was finally financially stable and secure for the first time in his entire life. Y/N had paid off his debt then paid him extra cash on the side while feeding from him once a month. His job was going well since he was able to get the scoop faster and with better pictures than the other photographers, and she was integral in helping him fight crime on those weekends when she fed from him and he was out of commission for a few days. Each time she came she was extremely gentle and flirty, making sure he was comfortable and arousing him before taking what she needed. He grew to look forward to those weekends when she would magically show up. The make out sessions before he passed out were like an extra reward on top of everything else, but he knew he was in dangerous territory as those feelings turned from pragmatic to romantic. He longed for her touch, wanted her to stay longer, and grew eager when the four week mark approached.
After a year and a half of their arrangement being like clockwork, Y/N was late one month. She didn’t materialize after the four weeks and Peter worried what was going on. She had been paying him so well that it wasn’t like he was strapped for cash or worried about anything financially, but he worried about her and where she was. He would look out for her as he swung through the city at night, but couldn’t seem to sense her anywhere.
The time stretched to seven weeks since he’d last seen her when one night he was swinging and almost ran into the side of a building. Y/N was near, he could feel it. It was almost like her essence was floating at the edges of his vision and he swung up to one of the high towers and waited for her. He tore his mask off and looked around, letting his spider sense guide him to where she could be.
“Y/N?” Peter mumbled as he stepped behind a pillar of the bell tower.
“Tasty boy,” Y/N muttered, her voice sounding like a breeze that reverberated in his head.
He turned and met her black eyes, her lips turned into a menacing smirk and the dark circles looking deeper and veiny. She looked starved. “Y/N, God where have you been?” Peter reached out towards her, his hands gripping her arms.
“Did you miss me?” Y/N giggled. She stepped closer to him, one of her hands hastily taking his hand away from her arm and raising it to her face. She deeply inhaled his wrist, her eyes rolling back in her head.
“Y/N,” Peter said warningly, trying to pull his wrist back. “This isn’t exactly the best place. Let’s go back to my apartment, huh?”
“I’m sorry I’m late,” she said, inhaling him again like she didn’t hear him. “Some vampire hunter got in my way. I just need a taste…” She pressed the spider at his chest, making his suit release from him and she pulled the glove away from his hand and down his arm until she could grip his fingers and licked the veins along his wrist.
“Y/N, wait…hey, you said you would make it not hurt!” Peter yelped as one of her fangs scratched along his skin.
Y/N seemed to come back to herself a little at that, her eyes widening as she looked up at him. “I–I’m sorry,” she whispered, but she didn’t let go of his hand. “I can’t…I can’t wait any longer. My good boy, please help me,” Y/N pushed him into an alcove between two pillars, their bodies covered in darkness.
Peter tensed as she started to kiss his chest and up to his neck, licking along his jugular and nipping at his jaw. “It’s okay, Y/N. Here,” he moved so that they sat down, like he was cradling her in his arms. He brought his free arm up to her mouth, twisting his wrist so the underside with his more prominent veins pressed against her lips. She desperately licked his wrist, saliva dripping at the edges of her mouth as her hands grasped his arm and she sniffed him. “I’ll be okay, just take a taste for now, then we’ll go home, and you can finish,” Peter promised her. Y/N looked up at him sadly as she kissed his wrist. She nodded and twisted herself to a more comfortable position for his arm to be in, then quickly scraped his wrist with her fang, causing the warm embers to bristle through his skin, then licked it heavily for the cool numbing to spread. She then sunk her teeth into his wrist and sucked.
The icy-hot feeling didn’t have enough time to circulate in his system before she bit him so Peter gritted his teeth and hissed as her teeth sank in. He tried to relax as she drank, knowing that it wasn’t her fault she wasn’t able to properly prepare him before getting a snack. He would be fine, the healing already happening in his body. Y/N moaned as she continued to drink, the dark circles under her eyes slowly receding and as her eyes fluttered he could see the black ebbing away back to her natural Y/C/E color. Peter sighed heavily, the blood loss starting to make him woozy.
“Y/N…” he slurred. “Just a taste…go home…”
Y/N gasped and released his wrist, licking it quickly to help the skin heal. As the puncture wounds closed she twisted in his arms and held his face. “I’m sorry! Such a good boy. It’s been so long,” she started kissing all over his face.
“It’s alright,” Peter goofily smiled as the ringing in his ears started to lighten, his blood flow getting back to normal.
“I’m sorry I hurt you. I tried–”
“I’m fine, baby, let’s just go back home,” Peter murmured. He didn’t know where the pet name came from, or why he kept saying home as if she lived there, but he didn’t correct himself and Y/N didn’t seem to mind. She helped him get back into his suit and then made sure he was okay to swing again. He couldn’t see her as he swung from building to building but he could feel her, almost like her shadow was riding his back as he headed towards his apartment. When they reached it he crawled into the open window and quickly shut the window once he could feel she was inside with him. He felt her behind him and when he turned around she was standing there smiling at him. She stepped forward and pressed the spider again, making his suit pool down around his feet.
“I’m sorry. Again,” Y/N looked down, her fingers skimming along the wrist she bit. Peter used his finger under her chin to make her look back up at him.
“I’m okay, Y/N, really. It wasn’t that bad,” he reassured her. Y/N still looked at him sadly. “Are you okay? From that vampire hunter?”
Y/N’s sadness melted to frustration, her eyes hardening as she scoffed. “I’m fine. What a traitor. Half vampire himself, the fucker. He could be out there killing the actual problem and yet he comes after me?” Her face suddenly scrunched and a growl emitted from her throat just as a few taps were heard on the window. They both turned and looked to see a man outside clad in all black, a sword strapped to his back and a fangy smile on his face. “Speak of the devil…” she hissed. Peter instantly stepped in front of Y/N, crouching to get ready to pounce on the man.
“Woah now, boy, you don’t wanna do that,” the man said as he pulled open the window and slipped in. “This bitch has you under a trance, you don’t wanna risk your life for her.”
“Like hell I don’t,” Peter scoffed at him. “I’m not under a trance. I let her feed from me.”
“You…what?” the man jerked at that piece of information. “Why would you do that?”
“We made a deal,” Peter said matter-of-factly.
“You made a deal with the devil, boy, now move,” the man pulled the sword from behind him.
“Okay, let’s just take a beat,” Y/N said, pulling Peter back. “Blade, I’m not doing anything wrong. Why come after me when you should be going after Dracula’s harem?”
“Wait, there’s a real Dracula?” Peter interrupted.
“Yes. And for some reason this dumbass is wasting time trying to chase me rather than go find them,” Y/N gestured to Blade exasperatedly.
“I go after all vampires who feast off of humans without remorse,” Blade spat at her.
“I am remorseful. I hurt my sweet tasty boy tonight,” Y/N grabbed Peter’s cheeks and squished them, speaking to him in a sad sing-song voice. “I didn’t mean to. But he’s right, we made a deal. So unless you intend to watch us like a pervert, you can kindly fuck off.”
Blade looked skeptical. Peter spoke up again. “I’m not in a trance, I’m helping her of my own free will, and she’s helping me. I’m okay. Please leave.”
Blade sighed heavily before sheathing his sword. “Making deals with vampires isn’t going to end well for you.”
“I’m sure,” Peter agreed.
Blade gave Y/N one more glare. “I’ll be keeping an eye on you.” Y/N scoffed as he then turned and left through the window, gliding down the fire escape into the night. Y/N went and shut the window behind him again.
“Ugh, cockblocker,” she grunted before closing the drapes and turning back to him. “Now…where were we?”
Peter shook his head and chuckled. “You were going to finish your meal.”
“Ah yessss…” Y/N sauntered over to him, her fingers sliding from the top of his boxers up to his neck. She leaned forward and kissed from his sternum to his jaw.
“Y/N, I–” Peter wanted more. She always helped him feel good and got his blood pumping before a feeding, but he wanted it to be more, to mean something.
“What is it, tasty boy?” Y/N pushed him back towards his bed, making him sit down as she shrugged off her coat and shoes and straddled his lap.
“I…do you…like me?” Peter felt pathetic even asking it. Y/N ran her fingers through his hair as she continued kissing along his jaw to his cheek.
“Of course I like you, tasty,” Y/N mumbled against his skin as she licked along the side of his mouth.
“Fuck…” Peter moaned. “No, I mean…”
“Uh oh,” Y/N pulled away slightly to look at him. Her eyes narrowed at him as she sighed. “You’ve fallen in love with me.”
Peter’s eyes widened and he inhaled sharply. He swallowed and tried to regulate his breathing. “Would that be such a bad thing?” Y/N looked at him sadly. “Peter…”
Peter shut his eyes and hung his head. “It’s alright, I understand. Let’s just do this…”
Y/N pulled his head back up and set her forehead against his. He opened his eyes slowly to look at her. She had unshed tears in her eyes as she watched him. “You can’t love me, Peter.”
“Why not?” Peter whispered, his brow furrowed.
“I’m not even fully alive,” Y/N snorted. “But I’ll outlive you. I can’t give you the life or future you deserve. Even this,” she gestured between them, “our arrangement will end someday, and I’ll have to let you go, as much as it will hurt me to do so. You don’t want this,” she looked down at herself. “To live forever is a curse.”
Peter knew she was right, and it crushed him. He didn’t want to live forever, he didn’t want to become a vampire. He shook his head roughly, refusing to let his emotions overcome him and cry in front of her. He cleared his throat and forced a small smile as he looked at her. “Okay,” he said simply. Y/N’s tears finally fell when she lifted her head. She gave him a sad smile back, her lips quivering as she breathed in deeply. “You’re going to leave after tonight, aren’t you?” Peter asked, though it was said more as a statement. She nodded, her lips tightening into a thin line. “Well then…will you let me have you? Just this once?” he asked. Y/N’s eyes widened, her mouth parting as she exhaled quickly. “Then you can feed, then we can pretend none of this ever happened,” he said, almost like a reassurance to himself more than her. He leaned forward slowly and pressed a kiss to the side of her mouth. Her eyes fluttered shut. “Please?” he whispered against her cold skin.
Y/N’s head fell back as she heaved a shaky breath, holding back a sob. She nodded frantically then kissed him. Peter kissed her back fervently, his arms holding her tight against him. In a flurry of panted breaths and moans they undressed each other fully and he maneuvered their bodies so that he was above her. She had always been on top of him, but this time she gave up her position and let him take charge. Peter kissed and licked down to her breasts, fondling and massaging them while he sucked at her nipples, making her hips jerk against him. Her fingers gripped his hair, holding his head against her chest. He kissed down to her core in between her legs, hooking his arms around her thighs as he dipped his head to lick her slit. Y/N gasped as he licked her thoroughly, his tongue teasing her entrance and sucking at her lower lips. When he found her clit he flicked it slowly with his tongue at first as his arm moved so his fingers could slip inside her. She moaned as he started with one finger, then quickly added a second as he sucked at her clit. Peter watched her carefully as his fingers thrust in and out, reaching for a certain spot inside that when he found it she gasped again while bucking her hips against his hand and face.
“Fuck, tasty, just like that,” Y/N whined. Peter smiled as he thrust his fingers faster, curling against that spot over and over again. She whimpered and he flicked her clit faster and harder with the tip of his tongue. “Oh fuck, fuck…Peter!” She stiffened as she came, a small squirt covering his mouth that he quickly licked up as much as he could. He pulled his fingers out of her after she relaxed and licked his middle finger clean.
“You call me tasty,” Peter teased her and lifted his pointer finger to her mouth. Y/N obediently opened her mouth and sucked his finger, groaning at the taste of her own slick. She pulled him up to hover over her again and kissed him deeply, her hands sliding down his back until she could reach his ass and pulled him so his hips were grinding against her, his cock sliding along her slit. Peter shuddered against her as she helped him thrust.
He pulled back and lined himself up with her then looked in her eyes. Y/N was already watching him, and as he slowly pushed himself inside her they both stared at each other. Y/N whined again, the stretch making her mouth fall open in pleasure. Peter whimpered as her pussy enveloped him fully and his head fell against her shoulder. He started thrusting his hips into her, then randomly rolling his hips, trying to find a rhythm that would make her moan. Peter didn’t want to make it fast but couldn’t seem to help picking up the pace, chasing the sweet sounds she made as he learned what she liked. He wanted this to last, for her to stay in his bed forever. The imminent goodbye was too much for him to bear and he could feel his breathing becoming ragged as he swallowed down a lump forming in his throat.
Y/N kissed and licked from his cheek down to his throat, her hands wrapped around his back, keeping him close. Her licking became more urgent as the orgasm was building inside her. Her fang skimmed his skin and he could feel the burning sensation.
“No, not yet,” Peter moaned, and moved his head, his hand coming up to grip her jaw and make her kiss him again. Y/N grunted at his rough treatment but let him move her. One of her hands moved up so she could grip the back of his neck, her fingers tugging at his hair. She moved him back so she could lick at the wound she made on his throat, the icy numbness spreading across his skin. “No, baby please,” Peter cried, actual tears starting to form in his eyes as he thrust harder into her. Y/N sucked at his throat harshly as the tightening in her core escalated. Peter could feel her pussy fluttering around his cock and he chased his release, his body taking over even as his heart seemed to scream at him to slow down and take his time with her.
“My sweet, tasty boy,” Y/N whimpered against him as she nibbled his earlobe. Her hand slipped between them and she rubbed and flicked at her clit quickly. A broken sob made her chest stutter. “I’ll miss you…”
“Ah!” Peter could feel her start to tighten around him. “I’ll miss you baby. Fuck…I love you,” he whispered. His hips drilled into her harder and faster until she jerked her hips against him and let out a shriek as she came again. Peter wasn’t far behind her, giving her two more hard thrusts until he grunted and moaned as he spilled into her. Y/N’s fangs sunk into his neck right as he did, making him see stars as the tears finally fell down his face. She drank from him slowly, the hand holding his head to the side loosening so she could gently pet his hair, letting him hold her. He didn’t want to pass out yet, didn’t want to let her go, but he could feel himself start to doze off as she pet his hair, her other hand tickling up and down his spine.
His vision became fuzzy and he felt her release his neck and lick him slowly. She shifted so that he was laying on his side now and she cradled his head against her chest. Peter could feel her chest shaking slightly as she cried, kissing the top of his head. “Peter…tasty boy…love…”
***
Peter awoke with a jolt, sitting upright in bed. He looked around, trying to get his bearings, rubbing his swollen eyes. He looked next to him to find the bed empty. He slowly remembered what had happened the night before and his heart crumbled again. He was dressed in a t-shirt and sweatpants, the only evidence of their night together being the light soreness in his neck and hips. Peter cried again, hanging his head in his hands as he sobbed heavily. Y/N was gone. He was never going to see her again. He had fallen too hard, too fast, and he should have known better. He stumbled out of bed, grabbing his phone and realizing he had slept for 14 hours. He left his room and trudged to the kitchen. Peter stopped when he saw a note on his kitchen table.
He breathed deeply, trying to calm his broken heart as he grabbed the note and slowly opened it. It was her handwriting and he closed his eyes, trying to focus and stop crying for a moment.
Tasty boy,
I’m sorry it had to end like this. I wish nothing but goodness and happiness for you, and that you find someone who can give you the love and full life that you deserve. There’s an account in your name that should take care of you for a while, information below. You’ll always be my favorite.
<3 Y/N
Peter laughed bitterly at the note. Even as she left she took care of him. He sat at the table and held the note against his chest, letting himself grieve over what could have been.
Peter eventually started to feel better, getting back into the routine of his life. He buried himself into work and his Spiderman duties so he wouldn’t think about her too much, letting himself forget about things like vampires and vampire hunters. The months and then the years went by, Peter’s heart mending one day after another. Then he met Gwen…

THE END! I hope y'all liked this one. I legitimately cried while writing this last bit. The next one I'll be focusing on our grand old Star Spangled Man with a Plan, Steve Rogers in a modern royal au. Again, if anyone has any suggestions, feedback, or requests please let me know. Thank you all! You're the best. :)

Horror is Queer
Horror has always had queer creators behind and infront of it.
F.W. Murnau directed Nosferatu (1922)
James Whale directed Frankenstein (1931), The Bride of Frankenstein (1935), The Invisible Man (1933), The Old Dark House (1932).
Clive Barker is a well known horror writer, I know Stephen King isn't the only one shocking. He's also directed some of his own work, notably, Hellraiser (1987), Nightbreed (1990), and Lord of Illusions (1995).
Kevin Williamson is the creator of Dawson's Creek, as well as, the screenwriter of Scream (1996), I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), The Faculty (1998), and Sick (2022). He also did a treatment for and produced Halloween: H20 (1998).
Don Mancini is responsible for the Child's Play/Chucky franchise. He also wrote the screenplay for Dweller Celler (1998).
Eliva is a goth, camp, queen, ICON! She's a horror host, and lifestyle.
Christopher Landon wrote the screenplays for Disturbia (2007), Paranormal Activity 2, 3, 4, Next of Kin, and the Marked Ones which he also directed. He wrote and directed Scouts Guide to Zombie Apocalypse (2015), Happy Death Day (2017) and it's sequel (2019), Freaky (2020), oh and he's slated to direct Scream 7!
Bryan Fuller was the showrunner of NBC's Hannibal and is now working on the Friday the 13th prequel series, Crystal Lake.
Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstien.
Daphne Du Maurier wrote Rebecca and a short story that would become The Birds. Hitchcock was clearly a fan.
Joel Schumacher directed The Lost Boys. Meanwhile Tom Holland made Fright Night which might be the queerest vampire movie ever made... huh.
Gus Van Sant... well he directed the Psycho remake... so that happened...
Carter Smith directed Ruins (2008), Swallowed (2022), The Passenger (2023), and a few others. OH and Swallowed has Mark Patton from Nightmare On Elm Street II: Freddy's Revenge.
I'm sure I missed some.
Then you get into some phenomenal actors...

instead of you [part thirty-six] || l.mh
pairing: [best friend’s brother] lee minho x college!reader ft. han jisung
summary: you didn’t expect to spend your summer pretending to be your best friend’s girlfriend- then again, you didn’t expect to fall for your best friend’s brother, either.
warnings: swearing, alcohol
word count: 3k
a/n: revamped my tom holland series from my main blog ( @wazzupmrstark ) to try and motivate myself to finish it!!
“Nice hat.”
You gave Minho a sideways look. “Really?”
“Yeah, it’s cute.”
You tipped the brim at him, grinning. “Thank you. Jisung picked it out.”
“He has good taste.”
You weren’t sure how to respond to the double entendre so you didn’t, choosing instead to direct your attention forward, where your fake boyfriend was teeing up.
Back at school, Jisung had gone off to play golf with a few of your mutual friends once or twice, but it was an expensive hobby, and as broke college students, they couldn’t exactly make a habit out of it. For a little while, Jisung worked as an assistant chef at a nearby country club for a couple of months which allowed him free access to their course in his off time, but juggling the job and his studies quickly became too much to handle and he couldn’t even keep up with his responsibilities, let alone have any free time to take advantage of the course.
Considering how long it had been since he last played, you weren’t expecting much from Jisung’s first swing, but when he stuck the golf ball with his club, it actually went relatively far. Of course, you didn’t have much knowledge of the sport to go off of when it came to gauging how well he was actually doing, but from the looks on his brothers’ faces, you assumed he’d done pretty well.
“Good job!” you cheered, running up to your best friend and kissing him on the cheek. “That was good right?”
He caught you with an arm around your waist and pulled you close. “Thanks, baby. It wasn’t bad, but it could have been better.”
“Whatever, you’re just being humble.”
“He’s not,” Felix piped up from behind the two of you. “Let me show you how a real golfer plays.”
You rolled your eyes in unison with Jisung but stepped back to let Felix tee up anyway, both watching as he took a couple of practice swings.
“How much do you want to bet he comes in last?” Jisung muttered in your ear.
“I’m not willing to go bankrupt over this, sorry.”
Jisung snorted and tried to muffle his laugh in your shoulder but it was still loud enough for his twin to hear.
“Oi! I don’t want to hear it when you’re up thirty points over me.”
“Yeah, we’ll see, Lix,” Jisung scoffed. “Just swing already! We don’t have all day, mate.”
Felix shot his brother a look but did as he was told. He rolled his shoulders and focused in on the ball, huffing out a breath and drawing the club back over his shoulder. He put more power into his swing than Jisung had but hit the ball with the edge of the clubhead instead of the center which sent it flying a little off to the left. From what you could see, the ball still landed on the pitch. It hadn’t gone into the trees or the lake, it was just in a trickier spot to clear.
“What was that you were saying about points?” Jisung asked smugly.
Felix groaned and turned back around to argue with him as Minho came up and took his place at the starting point.
“It’s going to be a long day, isn’t it?” you muttered to Minho.
He gave you a tight half-smile and shrugged. “You have no idea.”
-
It had only been an hour since the boys started and you didn’t think you’d ever heard so many insults and curse words thrown around in such a short amount of time, which was saying something.
Jisung, Felix, and Minho were all neck and neck with each other, with Dom far ahead of all three of them.
The course itself was beautiful. It was just across the street from the resort you were staying at, right on the edge of the water. You were able to see the ocean from the tops of the faux hills on the green, sparkling with the reflection of the sun. The waves were dotted with little boats and surfers all enjoying the good weather and making the most out of the afternoon.
You would have been content to spend all day there if it wasn’t so hot and you weren’t forced to stand around listening to your best friend argue with his brothers.
“How many more holes are there?” you asked Nikki, leaning over and whispering quietly so that the others wouldn’t hear you.
“Too many.”
“Kill me now.”
“Why don’t we get ourselves a drink when the cart girl comes around? It’ll make the time go faster.”
You grinned. “I like the way you think.”
-
You weren’t a stranger to day drinking, not by a long shot, but you didn’t want to get too sloppy while the sun was still up. You had long since given up on the little pact you’d made with yourself not to drink for the remainder of the trip— not that you’d ever really followed it in the first place. Nikki got herself a High Noon when the aforementioned cart girl came by, so you did the same, insisting on covering the tab for both of you.
“Please?” you practically begged. “It’s literally the least I can do after everything you’ve done for me.”
She seemed to think about it for a minute. “Fine. I’ll let you do it this one time. But don’t get used to it.”
You did a little dance in celebration and handed over some cash to the cart girl after she popped the tabs on both of your cans.
“Want anything?” you called to the boys. “It’s on me!”
Felix was the only one to take you up on the offer, both Minho and Jisung making a fuss about not spending your money on them. Where was this attitude back at school? you asked yourself, scoffing at Jisung’s refusal.
“I’m in the lead, I can’t afford to lower my inhibitions now!” Dom said. “But when I win, I’ll treat you to a pint, even though you’re canoodling with one of my opponents.”
“I’m starting to think you guys have something against me,” you accused the two non-participants as you handed Felix his beer. “What, do you think I’m broke?”
“We’re just gentlemen,” Minho said pointedly, shooting Felix a look.
“You are broke,” Jisung muttered.
“Watch it,” you shot, waving your drink at him. “You’re not getting a sip now.”
“Babe, I didn’t want a sip to begin with.”
“Okay, well even if you change your mind you can’t have one.”
He laughed and shook his head at the ground, walking back over to the teeing-off point with his hands on his hips.
Nikki was right, the afternoon did indeed pass a lot quicker with drinks in your hands. They kept you cool in the heat of the sun and the alcohol made the hours blend into each other.
In the latter half of the game, you started to pay more attention. You had finally begun to pick up what was good and what was bad from everyone else’s reactions to the shots and could actually tell for yourself.
“Baby, can you switch this out for the driver?” Jisung asked, holding his current club out to you.
“Which one is that?”
“The big one.”
You selected the club he described and passed it to him, taking the one he’d just used to put back in the golf bag. He kissed you when you met him in the middle to swap the two, smiling against you when he noticed Minho looking on.
“Sorry, couldn’t help it,” he whispered in your ear. “It’s too fun to fuck with him.”
Confused, you turned around to see what he was talking about only to see Minho standing a few feet away with his tongue in his cheek.
“Thanks, baby,” Jisung said, putting his hand on the small of your back to remind you of what you were doing. “You make a cute caddy.”
Minho mumbled something under his breath that you didn’t catch but you figured that was probably for the best.
-
After golf, you hung out with Jisung’s family at the pool for a few hours before heading back up to the rooms to get ready for dinner.
“Do we need to dress nice?” you asked.
Jisung peeked out from the bathroom to answer you, shaking his wet hair dry with a towel.
“Uh, not like nice, nice but nicer than just jeans.”
“Okay, I can do that.”
You turned back to your open suitcase and rifled through it in search of something that fit the dress code.
“By the way, where did you go last night?”
“With Minho?”
“Yeah, you were gone for like hours. I fell asleep and then woke up randomly and you still weren’t back.”
“Minho took me to some beach.”
“Did you have sex with him?”
You looked up. “Yeah. Why?”
Jisung shrugged. “Just wondering.”
You could tell he wanted to say more but you didn’t push. If you did, you’d only be hurting your own feelings. He had told you that himself. Jisung had been very clear that he wasn’t ready to talk about the Minho thing with you so all you could do was be honest and answer the questions that he asked, even if it was awkward and uncomfortable.
You were so used to guilt by now that you almost didn’t notice the fresh wave that washed over you. You knew it was wrong to still sleep with Minho after everything— hell, you knew it was wrong before everything, but neither of those facts stopped you from doing it.
You realized Jisung was still looking at you so you shook it off and picked up a random sundress from your luggage.
“How’s this for tonight?”
“Looks good to me.”
An hour later, you and the rest of the Hans were seated around a table in a dimly lit restaurant. The sundress had been the right choice. The place was right on the water and open to the outdoor air so all of the other patrons were dressed pretty similarly.
Jisung ordered for you after you looked over the menu together like always. Your hands rested on the table, fingers entwined for his family to see. You had been doing this for so long now that it was almost second nature to you. You had fallen into the routine a long time ago but you didn’t even have to think about it anymore. You probably wouldn’t even be giving the action a second thought had it not been for Minho staring at your hands from across the table.
It looked like he was zoning out, like he wasn’t actually glaring at you holding hands with his brother but you couldn’t be sure. You kicked him gently in the shin to get his attention. He jolted and locked eyes with you immediately, erasing any trace of subtly.
“You okay there, son?” Dom asked, patting Minho on the back.
“Yeah, yeah, ‘m fine. Just got a chill.”
Thankfully, everyone seemed to move past it and the conversation resumed. Dinner was otherwise uneventful. The boys recounted the golf game and Dom’s landslide win, while you just listened and nodded along when it felt right. It was a relief not to have to add anything to the discussion. You didn’t have the energy to.
Dom stayed true to his word from earlier and bought everyone a round from the bar at the restaurant. You weren’t a big beer drinker but you didn’t want to be rude so you suffered through the whole pint, ignoring Jisung’s worried glances from the side.
“You know I could have finished that for you,” he muttered.
“I don’t want to look like a pussy in front of your dad,” you hissed back. “He bought it for us. And I didn’t want to be left out.”
Your best friend scoffed and shoved his hands in his pockets. “You’ll do anything to prove a point, won’t you?”
“You know me.”
-
Minho pulled you aside after dinner, once you were back at the resort.
“Think you can ditch your ‘boyfriend’?” he whispered as you both fell back a couple of steps.
You stopped. “What, why?”
“I just want a moment alone with you.”
“A moment or several moments?” you challenged.
He smirked. “I’ll take whatever I can get.”
“I can’t keep blowing Jisung off,” you sighed, “and neither can you.’
“You know he doesn’t want anything to do with me right now.”
“That doesn’t mean you should stop trying!”
“Look, can we not do this right now? When they’re literally right there?”
“You’re the one who pulled me aside right in front of them.”
You watched his jaw clench in frustration but he didn’t say anything else because he knew you were right.
“Can you ditch him or not?”
You sighed again and looked back to Jisung. He was in what looked to be a heated debate with Felix. You didn’t need to hear it to know it was over something stupid.
“I’ll see what I can do.”
-
Jisung barely bat an eye when you told him where you were going.
“Okay, be safe,” he said as he kicked off his shoes.
That’s it? That’s all he had to say to you? You wanted to ask him just that, but you were afraid of creating another rift between the two of you. Jisung had said he wasn’t ready to talk about it so you shouldn’t push, right? But was it wrong to keep leaving like this?
Going back and forth with yourself was only wasting time and Minho was still waiting for you downstairs. Fuck it.
You grabbed a spare room key from the dresser, shoved it in the pocket of your dress, and left without another word before you could change your mind.
Minho was right where you left him, leaning against the wall by the elevator hub. He grinned when he saw you.
“Thought you’d never escape.”
You rolled your eyes at him as you let him lead you through the lobby by the hand. You were still wary of people seeing you together but the lobby was seemingly empty.
“Jisung didn’t care. It was me who took forever.”
Minho paused, letting go of your hand as he gave you a concerned once over. “Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?”
You nodded. “Yeah, I don’t really want to talk about it. So, where are we going?”
He frowned, but only momentarily, quickly covering it up with a smile. “I- okay, um... remember how you said we don’t do ‘couple stuff’?”
“Yeah?”
“I thought maybe I could take you somewhere where we can do that.”
“What do you mean?”
“I’m taking you on a date, silly.”
“Really? Where?” When he didn’t answer, you groaned. “You and your stupid surprises.”
“It’s more fun this way and you know it,” he insisted, tugging you along by the hand.
“I like being prepared,” you argued.
He grinned. “So be prepared for a good time.”
The drive wasn’t far at all this time but you were confused when he pulled into a crowded lot. You were even more confused when he didn’t turn off the car or more to get out of it.
You turned to him in confusion. “Minho?”
“Y/n?” he parroted.
“Where are we?”
“We’re on our date.”
“Yes, but where?”
“Did you not see the sign when we turned in?” You shook your head. He grinned. “It’s a drive-in.”
“Really?”
“Why do you think no one’s getting out of their car?”
“I didn’t really notice, to be honest.”
“Too distracted by your hot date?”
You didn’t spare him a reaction. “How’d you find this place?”
“I did some research the other night,” he explained, “when you, you know, we talked about it. I figured this is about as close as we could get to a real date. At least right now.”
“That’s… really thoughtful.”
He shrugged. “Nah, it’s nothing, really.”
“Well I was going to kiss you, but if it’s nothing—”
“No, no. I want the kiss. Give me my kiss.”
You chuckled, relenting as you leaned in. He met you halfway over the center console and kissed you sweetly. It was short but eager, just enough to leave you wanting more.
You had to remind yourself not to get your hopes up. Sure, Minho was showing interest in you now, but what about when this was all over? Would he want to do long-distance? Did he want to date you at all? You had been telling yourself that it was just sex all this time but now you were on a date... but what did it mean? You could just ask but you were scared to ruin the moment, ruin whatever it was that was actually going on.
You’d been asking yourself the same questions for weeks now and the scary thing was, it seemed like Minho was serious about you. He had all but said it outright to you. And here he was taking you on a fucking date. It was you who kept pushing back. You told yourself it was because of Jisung, but if you were being honest with yourself that was only half of it. You were afraid of getting hurt. You had never been in a real relationship before for that very reason. Well, that and you liked being single. It seemed favorable considering the dating pool of your university.
“I want another one,” Minho murmured, leaning in again.
“Nope, that’s all you get for now,” you teased, even though you did very much want to kiss him again.
His lips parted in surprise. “Wha- why?”
“Because I only promised you one! I can’t just go giving my kisses away, can I?”
“Sure you can,” he argued.
“That would lessen their value. I can’t wager them to get what I want if they’re not worth anything.”
“Your kisses are very valuable to me,” Minho insisted.
“Because I’m sparing with them.”
Minho inched even closer to your face, eyes trained on your mouth. “So I can earn them,” you started to nod, “if I’m a good boy?”
You almost choked on nothing, swallowing a moan. Minho watched your reaction with a self-satisfied smile and then settled back in his seat, turning his attention to the giant projector screen at the front of the parking lot.
“We’ll see,” you muttered hoarsely.
He hummed, still looking forward. “I’ll be good then.”
lmk what you think i always appreciate feedback!!

the sun was shining down brightly on the little beach town you and tom had grown to fall in love with. this place was your home for the summer, a home away from home. it was where you two had first met, where you realized you were in love with each other, where he taught you how to slow dance in the living room, all of it.
you smiled as tom parked the car in the driveway, nikki opening up the front door with a smile. you watched as she bent down onto her knees, laughing as she was suddenly trapped in 2 pairs of arms that belonged to your toddlers.
“grandma!”
“hey, kids,” she smiled, ruffling your son’s hair as she pulled them closer, “miss me?”
you smiled, “we did.”
she smiled back up at the two of you before hugging you both. you laughed into her embrace as she talked about how big the kids had gotten.
it was true, time flies when you’re having fun. and spending your dream life with the love of your life.
“c’mon, honey,” nikki said, waving you inside, “everyone’s inside.”
you and tom followed her inside and were immediately greeted with hugs and high fives. you smiled as you hugged your mom, the toddlers letting go as you approached, knowing it was your turn.
“hi, mom,” you smiled, hugging her. she hugged you back tightly, pulling tom in for a hug. he smiled, pulling away shortly after.
you three spent the next couple minutes catching up before the door opened again. you smiled as you watched austin walk through the door, his fiancé following close behind. you smiled at them, greeting them.
however, you were nearly knocked over when your little boy and girl came flying past you, “uncle austin!”
he smiled, crouching down as they both wrapped their arms around his neck, he picked them up, “hey, kiddos. listening to your mom?”
the kids laughed as you shook your head, “less and less everyday.”
“good,” your brother joked, “you two learn from the best.”
you rolled your eyes, playfully slapping his arm. you greeted his fiancé, making sure she felt comfortable before moving to sit back down next to your husband. you watched as your kids played with your brother, smiling as you leaned your head on his shoulder.
“tired?” he asked, putting an arm around you and drawing circles into your arm. you hummed back a response, to which he raised an eyebrow, “hmm?”
you nodded, “yeah, the kids woke me up early this morning because they were too excited.”
he laughed, kissing your hair, “we were them once, y’know. a long, long time ago.”
you smiled, “i know. its just hard to believe we’re not still that young. it’s like it went full circle.”
“well, if it helps, you’re still as beautiful as the day i met you.” he said and you rolled your eyes, pushing him gently as you both laughed.
“no, it doesn’t,” you giggled, turning to face him, “we’re not that old, are we?”
he shook his head, “nah, we’re still young. still full of hope.”
you laughed again, opening your mouth to say something until you were cut off by the sound of the doorbell. you spring up to your feet to answer, pulling open the door and smiling wide.
“hey, kat!” you smiled, pulling your best friend in for a hug.
she hugged you back tightly, “hey, hot stuff! where’re the kids?”
“outside with austin,” you smiled, “where’s yours?”
your question got answered as soon as you asked it, the little boy running past his mom and up the steps. you squatted down, opening your arms as he wrapped his little ones around your neck.
“there he is!” you laughed, picking him up as you stood up, “how’re you, bub? being good for mom?”
he gave a little smile as he nodded, “yeah!”
kat’s husband had joined her on the step with the bags. you said hi to him and walked inside with their son on your hip. immediately, he wanted to get down to run to uncle tom.
“uncle tom!” the little boy said. tom laughed as the boy came crashing into his legs.
“hey, brian! what’s up, little man?”
you smiled as you watched the interaction. if it wasn’t for the beach house, none of this would’ve been possible. you and the hollands wouldn’t had gotten so close, you and tom might not have ever ended up together.
and summers would’ve stayed boring forever. but now, they’re full of fun filled days and cozy nights, surrounded with all the people you love.
nothing could get better than this.

Your eyes fluttered open to the sight of delicate snow falling down on the terrace. A smile quickly appeared on your lips, pushing against the bed as you stretch your chest and neck. As you take a deep breath, your hand reached over to the other side of the bed but only grasped the sheets.
You furrowed your eyebrow, then looked at that side of the bed, only seeing the messy and wrinkled down sheet and the full blanket on the floor.
After making up your shared queen bed, you put on your slippers and robe before heading down the hall. Usually, in the morning, you checked on the baby first, but you froze when you saw her curled up in Tom's arms.
"What are you doing up?" You giggled, walking over to his side. You nuzzled your face behind his shoulder as the two of you glanced down at your precious girl, Mia.
"I woke up early and she was crying so, I picked her up and have been scared to put her back down." Tom lowly spoke, rubbing Mia's back as he turned to you and placed a soft kiss on your temple.
"Merry Christmas." You grinned.
"Merry Christmas, babe." He replied, pulling you close to him.
You pouted, "It's like yesterday she was so tiny."
"As if she's not now?" Tom jeered, running his hand over the top of her hair, "She's like the world's smallest thing."
"And it's her first Christmas today. Can you believe it?" You sighed, walking around to the closet. You had already laid out her red overalls and a small white shirt.
You heard Mia babble as she stretched out her arms and legs in Tom's hold, watching her squirm a bit before she opened her small eyes. Tom couldn't help but smile, tickling her tummy and then holding her face.
"Did you already change her diaper?" You asked, walking back with her outfit.
""Fresh and clean. Surprisingly not as bad as I thought it would be after we fed her peas and squash last night." He said as he laid her down on the changing table.
"Well at least she finally likes something that not just bananas." You joked, giving him the overalls and shirt before unbuttoning her onesie.
"She gets her pickiness from you." He chuckled.
You smirked, "Well, she knows what she wants."
♡ ♡ ♡
When you both came downstairs, carefully holding Mia to your chest, the Christmas tree was beautifully lit and shining bright with presents wrapped around the bottom. You were in awe of it, already overwhelmed by how Christmas has come so fast.
"Did you add some presents last night?" You asked him as the two of headed toward the couch.
""I didn't want to admit how overboard I went with baby stuff."
"She's not even a year old and already has so much. You're just trying to make her a daddy's girl, aren't you?" You teased.
"No problem with a head start now."
You rolled your eyes, but Mia was on your hip, reaching her arms out when her eyes glimmered at the shiny paper of the presents.
"See," Tom pointed out, "She's already loving me." He smiled, quickly kissing Mia's cheek. It made you so flustered the way he was so affectionate with her, wanting to be involved no matter what occasion.
"Okay, start handing out presents Santa. We got a lot to get through this morning." You said as you carefully sat on the couch with Mia propped up on your lap.
Tom leaned down, reaching behind the tree to grab the first present. You tried to look around him, but then saw the biggest, softest brown teddy bear in his arms.
"I wonder who this is for." He smiled, "I know it wasn't on my list."
You laughed, pointing to the bear as Mia reached out her hands again, "Look at that, Mia. That's all for you."
As Tom sat the bear next to you, Mia's hand grabbed its fluffy nose and pulled it toward her with the little strength she had.
"With that muscle, she'll be bench pressing this." You jeered, making sure she didn't hurt herself.
Tom pulled another present, pretty small but quaint, "Here's for mom." He trailed, kneeling on both knees in front of you.
You pouted, "Oh, you're so great. It's like we have a baby together or something." You sarcastically said before scrunching your nose.
You unwrapped it, pulling off the paper and Mia tried to reach for the shreds as you threw it away. A velvet box revealed itself from the paper and you opened it, stunned to see a beautiful gold bracelet.
As you admired the band further, the three of your names were engraved in it. Your heart melted at the moment, looking in awe at it before Tom offered to put it on your wrist.
The two of you got lost in each other's eyes, adoring one another even more at this moment.
"I love you so much." He whispered, rubbing your knee.
"I love you so much too." You giggled as you tried to hold back tears, but Mia held your bracelet and tried to bring it to her mouth.
"No, no, Mia. Not in your mouth." Tom chuckled, "I actually have a present that's for that."
You smiled, "Maybe she wants one too."
Tom sort out the rest of the presents and you held Mia closer to you, seeing her brighten up when Tom opened her presents for her. She was young, but you knew she was loving it. You hoped that subconsciously she would remember moments like this and the shared warm feelings between the three of you.

You’d been miserable all week. A date was something you should look forward to, but you’d been dreading it. You’d spent most of the week locked up in your room, sobbing your eyes out. Constant confusion, anger, and sadness swirling in your mind and stomach. You hadn’t talked to anyone but grace, though you probably hadn’t said more than a dozen words to her.
It seemed fitting that a storm would set in once the day finally arrived. The sky was light grey when you woke up, and by noon it was nearly black. The forecast was calling for thunderstorms that evening, and the sun wasn’t set to return until Monday.
“You know, you can probably use the weather as an excuse to cancel if you really want to,” Grace smiled at you as you stepped out of your room, “Then you could stay home and watch a movie with me instead.”
You shook your head, “No, it’s too late now, it’d be rude.”
She nodded and took a step forward, placing her hands on your shoulders, “Well you look cute,” she looked you up and down as she spoke. You’d worn simple jeans and busted out a rain jacket that had been shoved to the back of your closet for months, “It’ll be fun, the streets smell like rain, and you haven’t had an excuse to wear your cozy clothes out in a while. That’s sort of exciting isn’t it?”
You appreciated her trying to lighten the mood, even if it wasn’t doing much, “Thanks Grace,” you took a deep breath and tried to force yourself to look on the lighter side of things, “It’s sort of nice to get all bundled up, and I do like the smell.”
“Yeah, see? This is gonna be great,” she squeezed you, “And when you get home we’ll make some nice warm tea and you can tell me all about the date.”
“Right,” your throat was burning, “I, uh, I won’t be out long, but I’ll text you when I’m heading back. It shouldn’t be more than an hour or two.”
“Okay,” she pulled you into a hug, “Well I love you, I hope you have fun,” she kissed the side of your head as she pulled away, “And try not to think too hard while you’re there, just focus on him and you okay?”
You couldn’t say what exactly set you off, but something in you snapped. Suddenly large, hot tears were streaming down your cheeks. Your bottom lip quivered as you hiccuped and tried to force it all back down. Worry over took Grace’s face as she pulled you back into her.
“Oh babe, don’t cry,” she rubbed your back to try and soothe you, “It’s okay. You don’t have to go if you don’t want to. It’s not too late to cancel, I promise.”
You sniffled and hugged her tight, burying your face in her shoulder, “It’s not that Grace I’m excit-” you cut yourself off, “Well I thought I was excited, I don’t know, I just don’t know how I’m feeling. I don’t know what I want.”
“I’m sorry,” she rocked you, “It’s okay. I’m here okay? You can tell me anything.”
“I know,” you mumbled, “I just don’t know what’s going on, there’s Tom and London and then he just asked me out and I thought it would be a good idea but now I’m just confused,” you cried against her shoulder, you felt like a child.
“It’s okay,” she repeated, “It’s okay. Just take a deep breath alright? Everything will be okay,” she pulled back from you and wiped your eyes, “Tom’s a dick alright? Next time I see him I’m gonna hit him.”
You sniffled as a broken laugh divided your sobs, “It’s not his fault Grace, it’s just me,” you took a deep breath to try and regain your composure, “I should have listened to you and broken things off a long time ago.”
“It’s not your fault, you can’t help your feelings,” she tried to assure you, “I know this definitely isn’t what you want to hear right now, but if this is really all about… that. You need to talk to Tom about it, you know, get everything out in the open.”
“What’s the point? I already know what he’ll say,” you scoffed as another sob tore through you, “I’m so stupid Grace! I know what he’s like! I don’t know what happened, it was like everything was fine and then one day I was in love with him!”
“You don’t know what he’ll say,” she sighed, “I don’t know how Tom feels, but I do know that he cares about you a lot. I know if I called him and told him you were sitting here crying he’d drop everything and rush over here to try and make you feel better. I know that’s some kind of love, and I don’t know if it’s the kind of love you want it to be, but it could be. You’re never gonna know that though if you don’t talk to him about it.”
You sniffled and fell into her shoulder again, “I love you Grace.”
“I love you too,” she squeezed you tight, “I can pretend I’m sick if you want?”
You shook your head and wiped your eyes. You pulled away from her and took a deep breath, “No, I’m still gonna go. I’ll just keep it short.”
She frowned, “Are you sure? You don’t have to go if you don’t want to.”
“I know, but if I tell him you're sick or it’s the weather or something he’ll want to reschedule,” you blushed, “And I’d feel rude just telling him I don’t want to go like ten minutes before we’re supposed to meet up.”
She nodded in understanding, “Well you can text me if you change your mind.”
“I will,” you smiled, “Thank you.”
“Of course, try to have fun,” she smiled back.
“I’ll try,” you promised, “I’ll text you when I leave.”
You took a quick pit stop in the bathroom to compose yourself. You splashed some cold water on your face and did a little deep breathing. Once you were sure no one could tell you’d been crying you left for his house. The drive felt longer and more ominous than usually, the dark skies and slick roads forced you to keep all your attention on driving. Once you were safely parked at the curb you pulled out your phone to let Adrien know you were there. The front door was already opening when you glanced up, you expected to see Adrien stepping out, but instead you found Tom. He was trudging through the rain in a pair of sweats and a white tee, he hadn’t even bothered putting on shoes. He didn’t even make it halfway to your car before he was totally drenched. He looked like an idiot, soggy idiot, but he still made your heart pound. He waltzed right up to your window and knocked, leaning down as you rolled down the window just a crack, attempting to keep yourself dry.
“What are you doing?” you frowned at him, “Don’t you own a jacket?”
“Saying hi,” he hummed, “Roll the window down.”
“Why?” you huffed, “It’s pouring, I’ll get soaked.”
He rolled his eyes, “No you won’t, it’ll only be for a minute.”
You shot him a dirty look as you rolled the window down, “There. Now what do you want?”
He shrugged, “Just thought I’d come to wish you luck, you know, break a leg and all that.”
“That’s theater,” you hummed in response.
“Yeah, so is this,” his eyes flicked over you, “Grace called me.”
Your eyes widened, “What about?”
“She said you were really upset, that you’d been crying all morning,” he frowned, “I just wanted to check on you. Cause you know, if you don’t want to go on this date or something you don’t have too. I’ll talk to Adrien for you if you want.”
“It’s not about that,” you snapped quickly. His eyes flickered to the front door and yours followed, Adrien was on his way out, “I want to go on the date.”
“Well what were you upset about then? Grace said you wouldn’t tell her,” he frowned at you.
“So what? She just called and told you I was crying and then hung up?” you raised a brow.
“No, she called about work, you just came up.”
“So you two were gossiping about me?” you glared at him.
“No, I just asked,” he blushed, “We haven’t talked all week so I just asked if you seemed excited. She said she couldn’t tell because you were crying all morning and when I asked why she said she didn’t know. I just wanted to make sure you’re okay,” he leaned into your car and spoke a bit quieter, “I mean it, if somethings wrong I’ll talk to him.”
Adrien knocked on your opposite window. You were surprised you were staying so composed. Your chest felt heavy, your heart was aching.
“I’m fine, just pmsing,” you unlocked the car door to let Adrien in.
Tom pursed his lips as Adrien entered the car. You greeted each other with smiles.
“Hey,” he grinned and peaked over at Tom, “Came to say hi Tom?”
He nodded and smiled playfully, “Yep, just making sure (y/n) knows to have you home by ten,” he teased.
“I’m sure I can manage,” you pursed your lips, “I’ll see you later.”
Tom’s eyes flicked between you and he nodded, “Yeah, you too. Have fun.”
You rolled up your window and Tom retreated to the house. You took a deep breath and turned to Adrien.
“Are you warm enough? I can turn up the heat,” you offered.
“I’m fine,” he smiled at you as he buckled in, “So what did Tom want?”
“He was just telling me to be careful,” you lied, “The roads get really slick when it hasn’t rained in a while.”
“Good, I was worried, it seemed really tense, and I know how Tom can be.”
You furrowed your brows, “What do you mean?”
“Well you know,” he shrugged, “He can just be a bit of a prick sometimes.”
Your lips pulled to a line and you turned to the road, “I guess.”
“I don’t mean anything by it,” he corrected himself quickly, “Tom’s my mate, he’s just got his moments you know?”
Sure you and Tom had your fights and issues, but it bugged you when someone else talked bad about him.
“I guess,” you repeated, “I think Tom’s really sweet, but it’s probably different living with him.”
He nodded, “Yeah, probably,” he bit his cheek and tried to move on, “You look really nice by the way, cozy.”
“Thanks,” you kept your eyes on the road, “I missed wearing sweaters and everything.”
“Me too, plus it’s a nice little break from the heat,” he hummed as you drove along, “Have you had the chance to eat here yet?”
“No, but I’ve heard it’s good. Have you been?”
He nodded, “Yeah, I just got some pad thai, but it was really good.”
“That’s good, hot food sounds great,” you were so glad the restaurant was close to his house.
When you pulled into the parking lot Adrien held the front door for you. You were seated right away, in a small two person booth in the back of the building. It was cramped, and louder than you would have liked.
“Too bad we can’t sit outside,” Adrien smiled apologetically from across the table.
“That’s alright,” you assured him, quickly turning to the menu.
You got a few minutes of silence as you read over the menu, but those were confiscated once the waiter returned to take your order. You fiddled with your hands in your lap as you tried to think of something to talk about, unfortunately your mind kept wandering elsewhere.
“So, have you heard back from any of your internships yet?” Adrien asked.
“No,” you couldn’t say why you lied, “I’m sure I will soon though.”
“Well they’ll probably all want you,” he chuckled, “Do you think you’ll keep working if you get one?”
“Probably not,” you licked your lips, “I guess it depends on how much they pay, but I’d like to just focus on that.”
“Makes sense,” he nodded in approval, “Don’t want to overwhelm yourself or anything.”
The conversation felt formal, too formal for a date. You tried to loosen yourself up, to relax and have fun, but something held you back. You just didn’t know Adrien that well, which was the point of going on a date, but still. You didn’t feel comfortable joking around or teasing him. It wasn’t like when you hung out with Tom, everything came easy with him.
“Adrien,” even his name felt formal, “What do you do for fun?”
You cringed at your own words, you sounded like you were interviewing him.
“Well I go out surfing sometimes, I like rock climbing, mountain biking, anything I can do with my friends really.”
You never knew he was so outdoorsy, or that he liked hanging out with others so much. He never seemed that social to you, he was always quiet, and wasn’t usually at events with you and your friends.
He continued on with his description of the rock climbing gym. It wasn’t that it wasn’t interesting, it sounded fun actually, but you just couldn’t focus. You were staring at his hair. It was cute, perfectly styled, he obviously put effort into his appearance. Tom always had this mop of messy brown curls that somehow never got frizzy, no matter how frequently he played with it. Half the time they were still wet from his latest surf session. When he got out of the water he loved to shake his head like a dog and flick water all over you.
“That’s cool,” you commented, “Rock climbing seems dangerous.”
“Well we just go at the gym. It’s right by your house actually, it’s really cool, they have this big…”
“... and there’s a slide at the top, so you can slide down once you reach the top,” Adrien finished with a smile.
Adrien had nice eyes, they were a striking, vibrant blue. As beautiful as they were, they had nothing on Tom’s eyes. Tom’s eyes were warm and inviting, a deep brown you could get lost in endlessly. They crinkled up when he laughed and widened whenever you told him a story. You loved Tom’s eyes, they made you feel at home.
You smiled back at him, “That sounds fun. Is it very hard?”
“Well it depends on the path you take, see they’re colored and the different colors are…”
Nothing beat his smile though. He always smiled with his whole face and laughed loudly at your jokes, even the bad ones. The best was in bed, when you’d lay on his chest and he’d laugh. The way his chest rumbled under you, the way he’d lean down to kiss your head afterwards. Everything about him made you feel good.
He set a mug in front of you and a cup in front of Adrien.
Tom had a voice like honey too. Sometimes cooing softly at you while you cried, sometimes whispering nasty things into your ear in the middle of a party. It was always sweet, always made you want to listen. Even when you were angry you could never tune out the sound of his sweet voice.
“I’ve got some tea for you,” the waiter interrupted your thoughts with a smile.
“I can’t believe you got ice tea,” you tried to tease.
Adriend hummed, “I can’t stand hot drinks.”
“Really? What about hot cocoa? Or coffee?”
He shook his head, “No, I can’t do it, it all just tastes burnt to me.”
You tried so hard to invest yourself in Adrien, but you struggled to pay attention. Not only was your mind set on wandering back to Tom, but you two were at odds about almost everything. Your taste in almost everything was opposite, music, foods, weather, the kinds of pets you liked. It wasn’t like those were deal breakers, or you couldn’t get along, you just couldn’t seem to connect on anything.
You loved hot drinks, hot cocoa in particular. Tom made great hot cocoa, you had no idea what he did to it, it was just always special when he made it.
“That’s funny,” you commented, though you sounded awfully monotone.
As sweet as Adrien was, he just wasn’t for you. The date dragged on and on as you ate, you resisted the urge to check the time again and again. When he offered to pay you insisted on splitting the check, not wanting to put him out for a date you didn’t like. You tried not to act excited as you got into the car and drove him home. You gave him a quick goodbye hug and celebrated the fact that he didn’t ask for another date. You couldn’t wait to get home and snuggle up with Grace, hopefully you could forget all about the awkward night.
Adrien waved to you as you drove off. He headed inside, hoping to go back to his room without another awkward run in. Unfortunately for him Tom was seated right in the middle of the couch, obviously waiting for him.
“You’re back early,” Tom sounded smug, he was almost smirking.
“Well we were just getting dinner,” he replied, “It doesn’t usually take that long.”
Tom shrugged, “I don’t know, (y/n) and I are just out for longer than that usually. I guess you don’t have as much to talk about though.”
All Adrien wanted was to wipe that stupid, smug look off his face.
“What do you want to hear Tom?” he glared at him, “That we hated each other? That it was awful? Did you want me to walk in here and tell you how I just think she’s bitchy and awful and I never want to see her again?”
Tom’s eyes widened before his face scrunched to a scowl, “No, if you call her a bitch I’m gonna put you in the fucking hospital.”
“You know that’s not what I said,” Adrien snapped, “I’m going to bed, and I’m not telling you shit about the date so don’t bother asking.”
Tom stood as Adrien tried to walk away, “Probably because it went awful huh?” he smirked again as he stepped towards him, “I told you you know? Told you it wouldn’t work out.”
“Why are you so obsessed with us?” Adrien spun to face him again.
“‘Us’?” Tom scoffed and rolled his eyes, “There’s no ‘us’, there’s you and then there’s her. There’s only an ‘us’ in you’re fucking dreams.”
“Obviously there is an us, we just went on a fucking date!” he stepped towards him, “You know what Tom? I think you’re just jealous.”
“Jealous?” Tom laughed, “Oh as if.”
“Oh please, it’s obvious! You’re jealous because she went on a date with me and not you,” Adrien jabbed his finger into his chest for emphasis.
Tom glared at him as Harrison stepped into the hallway, “What the hell are you two yelling about?” he glared at both of them.
“Nothing,” Tom shoved his hand away from him, “I was just congratulating Adrien for his shitty date.”
“Tom,” Harrison warned.
“No Harrison, he’s right, it was a shitty date,” Adrien agreed, “It was shitty and boring because you’re little fuck buddy is shitty and boring!”
Tom had swung at Adrien before anyone could even blink. His fist connected with Adrien’s cheek, making him recoil as Tom tackled him. Adrien swung back at him from the ground, making contact with his eye, but not managing to throw him off. They wrestled on the ground as Harrison ran for them.
“Tom get off!” Harrison barked at his friend as he yanked him off of Adrien.
“You heard what the fuck he said! He deserved it!” Tom glared as Adrien got off the ground.
Harrison stood between them, a hand on Tom’s chest to keep from trying to grab Adrien again, “Yeah it was douchey but that doesn’t mean you can hit him!” Harrison glanced back at Adrien, “And you! What the fuck is your problem! I don’t care how bad the date was or how much of a dick Tom’s being you don’t have any right to say that shit!”
Adrien’s cheeks darkened shamefully, “Yeah, whatever, I’m going to my room.”
Harrison nodded, “Yeah, that’s probably a good idea.”
“Better fucking stay in there,” Tom grumbled as he shoved Harrison’s hand off of him, “I’m going to the beach.”
Tom went stomping off to the garage and Adrien to his room. Harrison let out a deep breath and went to the kitchen for a beer. He tossed the bottle cap into the recycling and went back to his room. He fell onto his bed and reached for his phone. Hoping to prevent another fight he punched in your number.
It rang a few times before you picked up, “Hello?”
“Hey, sorry to bug you,” Harrison rubbed the back of his neck, “Do you have a minute?”
“Oh, sure,” he could hear you shuffling and Grace mumbling, “What’s up?”
“It’s about Tom,” he pursed his lips, you were silent, “And Adrien. They got into it after Adrien got home.”
“What do you mean?”
“They got into a fight,” he clarified, “Like Tom hit him.”
“What?!” you gasped, “What the hell happened?!”
“Well he hit Tom back,” he chuckled.
“Harrison!”
“Sorry. I broke them up,” he explained, “I don’t want to make you feel bad or something, but it was definitely about you. Tom’s barely said a word since he found out about the date. I’ve been trying to get him to talk about stuff but he doesn’t want to open up to me,” he sighed, “I don’t want to sound like a dick here, but whatever’s going on between you two, you really need to talk about it. I’m worried about him, and you.”
You were quiet for a minute. He heard you let out a sigh before you answered.
“I-I know,” you mumbled, “I know we need to talk. Thank you for telling me Haz. I’ll call him in the morning okay?”
He nodded, “Okay. Are you alright?”
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you promised, “Haz?”
“Yeah?”
“I love you.”
“Aw,” he cooed, “You’re making me blush.”
“I mean it. I’m sorry you had to deal with… Well I’m sorry you had to break them up.”
“Ah don’t worry about it, you can just back me up next time I get into it with someone okay?” he joked.
You laughed, “Alright. I’ll talk to you later okay?”
“You too, and (y/n)?”
“Hmm?”
“I love you too.”
“Aw,” you cooed back at him, “Have a good night Haz.”
“Yeah, you too. Say goodnight to Gracie for me too okay?”
“I will,” you assured him before chiming once again, “Night.”
The line went dead and Harrison brought the bottle to his lips. He took a long drink and fell back into his bed.
