#showstopping cinematic excellence etc#tom hardy is phenomenal and i enjoyed his character and acting in general don't get me wrong!!#and what i'm about to say now is probably an unpopular opinion (since my opinions are always unpopular in every media) but...#see this could've been the closure of his character like everything has been set to this showdown#he tried to get arthur killed basically betrayed tommy#and when tommy outwitted luca alfie knew the jig is up that tommy is gonna be after his ass plus the skin cancer#like alfie wanted this...he wanted to die in his own terms and by tommy himself instead of either by the mafia or by cancer#he was already doomed!! but no they had to drag him out throughout the show...no one cheered no one clapped#he has overstayed his welcome on the show and i believe this is mostly because tom hardy is a fan fav and a good friend of steven knight#and just didn't have the same impact anymore#peaky blinders#cillian murphy#tommy shelby#pb text post
