I could be wrong, but I've always been under the assumption that in Obey Me we didn't have prior magic knowledge, or knowledge of the Devildom. This leads me to assume that other people of the general population don't know about either of these things.

Going off this train of thought, technically, Obey Me could be canon in most universes due to the fact that very few people without magic know that the Devildom exists, and even fewer without magic know that magic exists. This could lead to some amazing crossovers between fandoms.

Genshin Impact? Why not, MC got sent to the past and Solomon followed them, so I don't see how this could be untrue. Maybe bend some rules, but why not?

Bungou Stray Dogs? MC's magic could easily be written off as an ability to those who know about them/have them.

Tears of Themis could have MC going off on side-quests with the Brothers and others between their NXX duties and court cases.

Twisted Wonderland is already a pretty popular crossover.

DC may be a bit iffy because I'm pretty sure Lucifer (the show) is canon, so depending on the universe that you're writing it in, creative people could make it work.

I'm not sure if Marvel has a set devil character that may replace any of the brothers, but magic is canon, so you could definitely divert from that.

JJK could easily be written with a crossover between the two where MC and Solomon discover this specific subset of magic that has been isolated and forgotten by the other magic users, and they deal with a specific kind of demon that can only be seen by these magic users.

Tokyo Revengers already has that supernatural element, a story could be about MC taking a vacation or something in Tokyo and wondering what the hell is going on with all these middle schoolers.

One Piece might be a bit tricky, but again, MC has gone back in time before, and Solomon has followed them, so an Isekai is not out of the question, and their magic could be written off as a devil-fruit power.

There are, of course, some where this won't work, such as What in Hell is Bad, because they already have a set canon for hell and the various demons.

But I just think it's a fun concept.

Standing on the balcony at night, the young man is enveloped in a serene darkness punctuated by the soft glow of countless stars. The sky stretches like an endless black canvas, dotted with shimmering points of light, each star twinkling with its own subtle hue. The Milky Way appears as a faint, luminous ribbon, adding a sense of depth and mystery to the celestial expanse.

The air is cool and crisp, carrying the faint, earthy scent of the surrounding landscape. Below, the silhouette of trees and distant hills merge with the shadows, their forms barely distinguishable in the dim light. The gentle rustling of leaves and the occasional chirp of a night creature add to the peaceful ambiance.

“Zana…” You whispered softly, voice slightly muffled by the night breeze as you stood near the glass door that led to the balcony.

The young man turns his gaze from the sky towards you, his demeanor calm and composed. A flicker of curiosity passes through his orchid eyes as he regards you with a slight tilt of his head. The cool night air brushes past you, carrying with it the soft scent of the stars and the surrounding trees. His expression remains unreadable, yet his eyes hold a quiet intensity, as if he were waiting for you to speak.

You purse your lips, fingers fiddling idly with the small, golden piece of jewelry encircling your thin ring finger. [E/c] eyes flicker to meet his flowery ones as you find yourself engrossed in them—like always.

“It’s getting cold, Zana.”

As you spoke his nickname, his lips curled into a slight smirk, his orchid eyes locking with your own [e/c] ones. He regarded you with a hint of amusement, noting the way your fingers played with the golden ring.

"Cold?" He let out a soft chuckle, his breath visible in the cool air.

"Are you shivering? If you're that cold, feel free to come closer." He replied, his voice carrying a touch of teasing in it. You huff, bemused by his uncharacteristic playfulness. He’s been quiet lately, more so than usual.

The weather is calm, but the crisp autumn air isn’t much to your liking. Despite it all, your feet quietly carry you to where he stands, in search of some warmth.

As you approached him, the young man's gaze remained fixed on you, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He observed as you drew closer, his orchid eyes gleaming in the soft light of the stars above.

“Is that what you came here for, my dear?” He teased, his words laced with mild amusement. He held out his hand, a gesture inviting you to stand beside him, the cool night air gently tousling his black blond hair.

As you leaned against his side, his arm instinctively found its way around your shoulders, a gentle warmth emanating from his touch. His orchid eyes stayed fixed on the sky, but his gaze occasionally drifted to your profile, appreciating the way the moonlight illuminated your features.

"Can't handle a little chill?" He inquired teasingly, a hint of playfulness coloring his voice.

You snorted, “You provide me enough chill on a daily basis, Zana.”

His smirk widened slightly, his orchid eyes twinkling with mild amusement. He playfully scoffed at your comment, his arm still resting around your shoulders.

"I'm flattered that you're equating my presence to the cold." He let out another soft chuckle, shaking his head in amusement.

"You're not incorrect, though. I've heard that cold and distant are my defining qualities."

“Whatever you say, Zana,” you answer with a teasing lilt to your voice. His smirk widened further at your playful tone, his orchid eyes gleaming.

"Ah, my one true weakness, your taunts," he replied, his words dripping with sarcasm. His arm remained around your shoulders, his touch still providing a subtle warmth through the cool night air. His gaze shifted back toward the stars above, his demeanor returning to its usual composed state.

"I imagine you find great enjoyment in pushing my buttons, don't you?" You let out a chorus of light giggles as you nuzzled up to him.

As you nuzzled against him, his orchid eyes watched your amused expression. He couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle, his expression softening.

"Laughter suits you," he admitted, a hint of affection seeping into his voice. The cold night air carried a trace of fondness in its embrace, and for a brief moment his demeanor was lighter than usual. He leaned into you, his body heat mingling with yours.

“Do you know what suits you?” You ask with a mischievous glint in your eyes. His smirk returned, his orchid eyes gleaming with intrigue at your question.

"Oh?" he inquired with a raised eyebrow.

“I must admit, I'm rather curious as to where this is going." A subtle sense of anticipation tinged his demeanor, his gaze fixated on you, waiting for your answer.

“I think you’re the prettiest when I pamper you with kisses,” you leaned in closer. Your lips, adorned with a soft, rosy lipstick, left delicate imprints on his skin as you kissed him all over his face.

Each kiss was a tender mark of affection, the lipstick transferring a gentle blush to his cheeks, creating a pattern of your love. Your giggles intertwined with his laughter, adding a playful melody to your intimate moment.

As your lips traced kisses along his skin, leaving behind a trail of faint pink imprints, he couldn't help but let out a chuckle. The sight of the rosy lipstick staining his cheeks sent a mix of amusement and affection through him, an unfamiliar warmth spreading through his chest. He playfully tried to evade your kisses, but his laughter betrayed any attempt at feigned annoyance.

"Look at the mischief you've gotten me into," he said, a hint of mock resignation in his voice.

“Don’t act like you don’t like it, Zana,” came the words mixed with light laughter as you continued to pamper him with kisses.

"Ah, but I don't!" He protested, feigning indignance, though the laughter that escaped his lips betrayed his true feelings.

The subtle tinge of blush on his cheeks deepened as your kisses continued, the warmth and affection he typically kept hidden shining through. Though he played along with his usual banter, the gleam in his orchid eyes made it clear that he appreciated the affection.

"You've managed to make me look like a blushing mess, you menace," he said, a mock scowl on his face.

“You’re the menace. Ask Kakuchō.” A dangerous smile crossed his lips at your comment, and the mention of Kakuchō only intensified it.

"Ah, Kakuchō," he mused, his orchid eyes gleaming mischievously.

"He'd probably agree with you. I suppose I do have a reputation for being quite the menace," he tilted his head slightly, a playful light dancing in his gaze.

"But can you truly blame me when I have a maniac like you constantly by my side?”

The remark was said in jest, but there was a hint of fondness in his tone as he regarded you with a half-smile. His orchid eyes held a softness to them, a rare display of vulnerability that only you would have the privilege to see. Despite his teasing, he truly appreciated your presence in his life; you were the one person who could tear down his walls and make him feel alive.

“I don’t want to hear that from you,” you huffed out.

"Now now, darling, no need to get defensive," he replied, the hint of amusement in his tone returning. However, his words belied an underlying sincerity, his orchid eyes betraying the depth of his feelings.

"It may surprise you, but I'm quite fond of your insane tendencies, my love," he said, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

"They keep things... interesting." You snorted, a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips.

“I don’t doubt it.” A soft chuckle escaped his lips at your response.

"Ah, there's the attitude I've come to adore." His orchid eyes watched you intently, a hint of playful mischief in their depths.

"You know, I wouldn't trade this insanity for anything. It's what makes our marriage so uniquely... thrilling." Your heart skipped a beat at his words, the sincerity and affection behind them washing over you like a warm embrace. You couldn't help but smile, a slight blush creeping onto your cheeks.

"Well, aren't you sappy," you teased, attempting to mask the sudden rush of emotions that his confession had stirred within you. Despite your attempt to downplay your emotions, his perceptive orchid eyes caught the blush that tinged your cheeks. He let out a low chuckle, the warmth in his expression evident as he leaned closer, murmuring softly,

"Ah, my sarcastic darling, feigning nonchalance won't save you now. I see right through that tough facade." A teasing smile tugged at his lips as he gently brushed a loose strand of hair from your face.

“I love you, Zana,” you whispered softly, leaning into his touch with a soft sigh of contentment.

At your affectionate whisper, a look of contentment washed over his features, the teasing smirk replaced by a small smile that was genuine and affection-filled. His orchid eyes held a warm gleam, their intensity softening into a gentle adoration.

His fingers, which had been gently brushing the stray strand of hair away, now tangled in your hair, pulling you into his arms for a tender embrace.

"And I love you," he whispered back, his voice barely above a breath, as he held you close.

— His feed is made of amazing photos. He's beautiful and he knows how to get his features to shine.

Why does Shirley have to die?

One of the most frequent comments I found while browsing when I entered this fandom and it bothered me greatly was that Shirley's death was useless, which reflected a lack of understanding of the series and the character of Shirley and her relationship with Lelouch and Suzaku. So today I'll explain what the effects of Shirley's murder were.

Broadly speaking, Shirley's murder serves as a catalyst between the first and second half of the second season. Likewise, Shirley's sad murder resonates with the main theme of the series and influences the narrative arcs of Lelouch and Suzaku.

1. Shirley's death was what pushed Lelouch to change his plans for the Geass Cult. Instead of controlling the orphans who had been turned into Geass users, Lelouch decided to destroy the Geass Cult by decimating the children and scientists who participated in the project by organizing a clandestine operation with the Black Knights.

1.1. This operation will later become one of the reasons why the Black Knights will betray Lelouch. It's information that is leaked to Asahina, a member of the Four Holy Swords, and reaches through him Tohdoh, who, together with Ohgi, were the ones who convinced the rest of the Black Knights that they were angry with Zero for abandoning them in the middle of the takeove of the Tokyo Settlement. So the massacre of the Geass Cult influenced the betrayal of Tohdoh, one of the pillars in the Order of the Black Knights and most loyal to their leader.

1.2. Additionally, the Black Knights' attack on the Geass Cult resulted in the death of V.V. and attracted the Emperor who took the code from V.V. and then attempted to initiate the Ragnarök Connection in episode 15, but C.C. prevented this by sealing her code and suppressing her memories. Something that will influence Lelouch's isolation. Also, in the massacre of the Geass Cult, Lelouch captured Cornelia, which will be important in the future.

2. Shirley's death was what pushed Suzaku over the edge and motivated him to coerce Kallen through refrain to get confirmation that Zero was behind her murder. About to do so, Suzaku realized that he was about to become completely corrupted and begins to rethink his beliefs and methods for the first time. It's because of this incident with Kallen that Suzaku is willing to reunite with Lelouch and team up with him, even if it means abandoning Britannia. But, well, Schneizel ambushes the two former friends and makes Lelouch believe that Suzaku betrayed him once again. Consequently, Lelouch is determined to kill Suzaku in revenge, but it turns out badly due to the cursed order he gave him long ago and which causes the total annihilation of the Tokyo Settlement, something that will mark a turning point in Suzaku's narrative arc and It will also affect Lelouch...

3. Shirley's death was a turning point in Lelouch and Rolo's relationship. It was a relationship in which love and hate were quite balanced, but, after this event, Lelouch leaned towards hate. I'll talk more about this point in my analysis of Rolo's motivations for killing Shirley, so that's all I'll say for now. I'll add that, if Mao made him realize that Geass can corrupt the user and Euphemia's death made Lelouch realize that Geass is an evil power, Shirley's death made Lelouch realize that Geass will condemn him to isolation (damn, Lelouch saw a lot of red flags and kept going; I don't know whether to call it idiocy or determination). At the same time, he realized how terrible the power of Geass is in the hands of a child and became terrified that all Geass users were like Rolo, which is why he thinks it is better to eradicate the Geass Cult and not control them.

4. Shirley's death is linked to the main theme of the series (will) and, in a certain way, influenced the epiphany that Lelouch will have in the final stretch of the series. Rolo didn't get into a vehicle, he drove to Shirley's house and got out to shoot her. No. Shirley was murdered, following her will. She abandoned the security force that was guarding her because she wanted to offer her help to Lelouch. To paraphrase Lelouch's words to Schneizel in the series' penultimate episode, people are actively seeking happiness, and for Shirley, her happiness was with Lelouch. Even though Lelouch erases her memory over and over again to protect her, Shirley will always do what her will dictates, and that includes falling in love with him again. Shirley's firm resolve, added to that of other characters, is what teaches Lelouch to value human beings' will and constant pursuit of happiness.

In short, Shirley's death is what leads to most of the events that occur in the second part of R2. Without that, the Zero Requiem doesn't even take place. For all this, it is ridiculous that the alternate universe continues with the same events as the canonical universe, but, well, nothing makes sense in the alternate universe (hence it is complete garbage and I'll maintain this statement until the last day of my existence.)

Having said that. If anyone still wants to be angry about Shirley's death, they have to change their focus on her. The point isn't that Shirley's murder adds nothing to the plot (we already saw that it isn't true); but this seems to show that Shirley is a "woman in refrigerator." This is a term coined by Gail Simone to refer to female characters who face disproportionate harm, which will serve as a plot device to motivate male characters. The term was used to talk about situations in Western comics, but can be extrapolated to other media. Is Shirley a "woman in refrigerator"? I would say yes, but I think that term should be applied when there are female characters who have great potential and the authors don't exploit it, but rather prefer to reduce them to a motivation for the current male hero. And Shirley is not Kallen (an action heroine and Knightmare pilot, whose talent and skill can change the flow of a battle), she is not C.C. (an Immortal Witch who knows all the secrets of Geass and is clandestinely working with our protagonist's worst enemy for her own interests), she is not Euphemia (a princess in the Holy Empire of Britannia who can challenge the status quo and change the system from the inside), she is not Nina (a prodigy in science, capable of creating a weapon of mass destruction). She's only Shirley. An innocent civilian trapped in a bloody war. She cannot contribute more than she can, so let's not ask for pears from the elm.

Another Beautiful Day (First Years x Yuu)

Every time you go to sleep you se the same set of flashing images, a carriage ride, a crumbling castle under a ink stained sky, ending in the jaws of a monster. The pain you feel from the flames makes you wonder, on nights when you are alone in Ramshackle with Grim, if those dreams are less fiction and more of a memory.

You are not the only one who has those dreams. There's another, laying awake in his bed, hand clutched tightly over his frantically beating heart trying desperately to hold the fraying edges of his sanity together. How many times has he done this? How many times has he tried to hold onto the last fleeting traces of warmth in you with his cold, unworthy hands.

Again. He loves you, that is the one thing that refuses to change no matter how many times the world is reset. He loves you, he has no choice but to try again.

Ace

There was, perhaps still is, a pretty viral theory about Ace being a traitor involved in resetting time. While I can't ever see Ace purposefully causing Yuu's death ever, I can see him deciding that if he has to play the villain to get the outcome that he wants, well then, that's just what he's going to have to do. Ace knows how to annoy people, comes with the youngest child territory, more specifically he knows how to annoy you. He can stand having no one if it means everyone's focus is on keeping you safe, it's easier to admit that he loves you when no one's around to hear it. It occurs to you that he might, it even crosses your mind that the strange dreams your time-loop troubled subconscious is so desperate to hang onto, ones where you are with someone you love dearly, could be about him. How else would he know how to push all your buttons, why else does he always know when and where you'll be in trouble. If Ace doesn't love you, why does he know all the things you like about this world before you do? It's a painful thing to be known, even more so if the person who knows you refuses to let themselves be vulnerable with you. The more things change the more they stay the same... huh?

Deuce

Ever watched Tokyo Revenges? I know some of you have, I can see you. Anyway Deuce might not be a crybaby but he is loyal, determined, and stuck on desperately trying to save you. Well not just you, Deuce realizes that Overblot Grim spells doom for a lot more people that just those inside NRC. Sage's island might be remote, but people still live there, if the monster got out who knows what sort of damage it will do? He tries his best to be normal around you, to befriend you and protect you in just the same way he did before, but he's a much more serious and moody person than he was the first loop around. How is he supposed to explain to you he couldn't save you, that he's watched you die countless times and only had ashes to hold and cry over? Not just you either, he's seen Ace and Epel and Jack, hell even Sebek, Die over and over again because he wasn't smart enough to stop it. Ace manages to pick up on something being wrong, and Deuce being Deuce he fails to lie properly, "dragging him into his mess." But he can tell Ace doesn't mind. He takes his impending doom as a challenge, encouraging Deuce to do so as well. He's stupid, he should just give up and let someone smarter save you. But he's your stupid, kind of crybaby hero. He'll save you, just you see.

Jack

Trying to save you is as much an instinct to Jack as it is raw emotion. You are his soulmate, there is nothing casual about his investment in your relationship, nothing short of divine intervention that will keep him from trying to save you. But he will admit he feels rather unprepared for this... development. It's all well and good to say you will break reality before he lets it take you from him, but actually being strong enough to do that? Jack's a good boy, but no matter how smart he is he's a bit of a muscle head. He throws himself into problems fist first, without any back up unless someone yanks him by the scruff and forces him to look at it. Usually that's you, sometimes it's Ruggie or Leona, but in the past it was you. He knows he can't keep himself from you, even if that could make you safer. Unlike the first timeline, he makes sure to introduce himself as early as possible, makes sure to be with you for every overblot. You might find it annoying but he'll push you to train just enough so that you'll have the speed to run when the final monster comes. Maybe this time, he'll be strong enough to kill it before it catches up to you.

Epel

Sleep Kiss cannot put you to sleep forever. Yet. Yes yet, Malleus isn't the only one who thinks letting you nap forever is a good idea. Great minds think alike, and unlike Malleus's, Epel has an added bonus. He can encase you in a glass cage that is literally meant to protect you from anything that wants to hurt you. Not that you would ever expect this plan from Epel. He's cute, kind, non-threatening when you're paying attention, the most you see of his temper as the loops continue is the slightly bratty glare he focuses on pre-overblot housewardens. And the headmage, but hey any anger at him always gets a pass from him. Not that you need to worry about that, once Epel masters his spell you won't have to worry about anything. He does wonder if you'll be able to dream, the first time he cast his spell on you it was like you didn't realize anything had happened at all. Maybe he won't tell you anything, maybe he'll wake you up every once and a while to convince you that you were never asleep at all. But that's not a concern for now, all you need to do is close your eyes and sleep. Sleep and wait for your Prince to return from the war.

Sebek

Following the current timeline, events aside, Sebek is on the outside of your friend group. No one likes him, he can't sit with you. The only real reason Sebek has to pay attention to you is because Malleus does. And he has to admit he doesn't exactly hate what he sees, he just- doesn't want to give credit to a human. When time is re-set though, he goes out of his way to befriend you, convinced he needs to keep an eye on you to save his lord. After all, how could he not find it suspicious that Malleus befriends some random human from not-Twisted Wonderland and then suddenly overblots? He is ready to strike at the first sign of betrayal, but he does not find it. He finds a human, weak and flawed, but paitent and kind with him, unwilling to let him talk down to them but still willing to talk. You die, but you never stop trying. You refuse to let the flaws he picks at stop you from trying to live. You refuse, no matter how many times he yells about the amount of times he has lost his lord, lost you, to let him do all the work alone. There is beauty in your struggle, in your life. He can't betray this for his lord, even if it was the cause of his plight. It's Silver he turns to for help, begging him for guidance through tears as he desperately clings to you. He finds it of course, he never had to do any of this alone, but he should know by now that doesn't guarantee success, no matter how much he wants it to.
