At this very moment, you felt like digging yourself a hole five feet or more underground.

You slammed yourself onto your bed, took the nearest pillow, and screamed onto it. You kicked your feet like a child, you were far too embarrassed for what had happened earlier today.

You whined on your pillow. As you did, you heard your bedroom door open. You looked to the side, your cheek still on the pillow as you watched your mother invite herself in.

She had a slight smile on her face, “Ma, please don’t make fun of me!” You wined. In a slouching position; You sat yourself up and faced her.

“Don’t worry hija you’ll forget about it eventually. Although; I don’t blame you. He was quiet.. oh wait?…what did you say he was?… hmmm… oh! beautiful… was it?”

Your mother smirks, as she continues and laughs at your flushed cheeks. You groaned, falling onto your bed, and slammed your face on a pillow once more. Your mother chuckles; walking over to your bed, she sat down and smooths your hair out in comfort.

“Look on the bright side, it could have been worse! At least you didn't spill his order like I did long ago when I first met your father.”

You looked up at your mother and squint your eyes at her. “Mamá,” You grabbed her attention, as you made gestures explaining your point.

“Calling a stranger beautiful! and then proceeding to bump into him, slipping and falling on top of him; is nowhere near how you met Papá…”

You deadpan, but your mother hums in agreement. “I suppose you’re right,” she chuckles.

“Mamá!”

“Alright, calm down, calm down” You pout, but inhale and exhale calming your flushed cheeks.

“Think of it this way, it’s not like you're going to see him ever again.” She reassures you. You softy hum in slight agreement with her words.

“I guess so…”

You yawn a little, rubbing your sleepy eyes, and looked towards your mother.

“Alright then, get some rest hija. You got school tomorrow, you need all the energy for it.” She says. Getting comfortable; You lay on the soft covers of your bed. “Okay, good night mamá.” She hums; stood up and left your room, softy closing your door behind her.

You look up at your ceiling and groaned in embarrassment. You turned to your sides, thinking about what your mother had said. ‘Why am I so worried? Ma it is right! It’s not like I’m gonna see him again,’

You thought, as you nervously chuckled; cringing at your attempt to reassure yourself. Though, it did somehow put your mind at ease.

‘Yeah, I’m definitely! not going to see him again! Don’t worry (Yn), the city of Tokyo is huge! There’ll never be, even the slightest changes of meeting each other again!’

You thought, as you hummed and nodded happily to yourself. You got comfortable in the warmth of your bed and closed your eyes. Allowing sleep to take over you.

………..

“Oh shit…” Your eyes open in realization… ‘Wait… the only place that was aware of our food stall… was our neighborhood and neighbors. So then… how did he….know about our food stall…..’

No way… no way in hell… does he actually…live in your neighborhood!?! There’s no chance that he does!

But then again, people tend to talk around the neighborhood. So there is a big chance that he does live near! And if he lives near you, he’ll recognize you, and if he recognizes you; he’ll probably talk about the incident that occurred earlier!

You felt yourself flush at the thought of it, you slightly tossed and turned in your sleep. Yet, your thoughts ran wild. How can you sleep if you're thinking too much, no more overthinking!!

But wait!! He’ll probably make fun of you! And if he makes fun of you, You’ll never be able to show your face at school again…. Wait! School is tomorrow, does that mean you're gonna see him again!!?? No!!

You swore on your life, you never thought you'd feel your heart drop at the thought of it. ‘For crying out loud! Stop thinking (Yn)!’ you scolded yourself.

Then, you sigh.

Might as well read a book, that’ll probably get your mind off of him… hopefully.

~𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲~

You were currently going around the park, helping your mother out with new customers. As you did you took orders, served food, and interacted with a few customers here and there.

“Hija! Please get that customer's order over there! They’ve been waiting for a while now!” You turned to the said customer and took their order.

‘Dame it! Where the hell is (TBN) when we needed him here!’ You thought in frustration. But quickly cold off trying to focus on the task at hand.

‘Crap there’s no time to get frustrated, I gotta get these orders done and then-‘ As you were running around with your thoughts in mind, you were suddenly cut off. You had just face-planted on something rough and wet….

Oh shit… to totally just spilled a drink on a customer….

You gasped, flustered; quickly bowed your head, and started apologizing to them... “Oh, I’m so sorry! Are you alright?” With flushed cheeks, you were far too embarrassed at your mistake to even look up at them…

“It’s okay!” He says as he started to bend down, picking up your mess.

“Oh no! It’s okay you don’t have to do that. I can clean it up!” You quickly cut yourself off, when you finally looked up at him. Oh my goodness… his strawberry blond locks fall upon his face, as his delicate features focus on cleaning up your mess.

Oh my gosh! He’s-

“Beautiful…” unbeknownst to you… you had said your thoughts out loud.

“Hm? Excuse me?” He looks up, and raises his brow in confusion and surprise…

“Hm?”

“Huh? Did you call me..… beautiful?”

‘,… oh shit… I said that out loud??!!’,

“Yeah, you did. Just like how you said your statement out loud too.” He softly chuckled at your quirky behavior.

“Oh gosh! I’m so sorry!” As you apologize, quickly tried to get up. Although; in the process of doing so… you bumped his head…

Ah….today is just not your day is it now (Yn)… first you bumped into him.. spill the drinks on his clothes. And then call him beautiful!? And now you’re bumping heads too!?? Can this day get worse and more embarrassing!

Your face was flushed as you continued to quickly clean up the mess. The “beautiful” man didn’t pay any kind to your flushed face. He didn’t want to embarrass you any more than you already have. Or at least that’s what you thought.

‘Cute’ was all the thought, before he smiled softy, and helped you up the floor.

“See ya later!” He cheerfully states. As he walked off.

Ugh! How embarrassing! You kicked your feet.

Manjiro kept thinking about today. He slightly hopes that he gets to see you again. With a smile and a small chuckle. He turns off his lights, and yawns before falling into a deep slumber.
