Tokimeki memorial girl's side 3 had the wonderful idea of getting rid of the rival feature. Instead the MC has *real* gal friends who are very lesbian coded and give you the best dating advice. Also replacing rival mode with two dateable guys fighting over you was also an amazing idea. This is peak gaming
