Absolutely!!!

He is all for giving the Todoroki family more love, the first time it happens Izuku snuck into Todoroki's school bag and didn't let himself be known till they arrived at at the Todoroki estate. The kids are surprised but very happy with these turn of events(Aizawa and Hizashi are freaking out until Shoto brings Matcha back to school the next day). Fuyumi gets a lil buddy helping her out with chores and cooking, Natsuo gets a partner to read with and Shoto has a permanent shadow and pillow thief(not that he minds).

Also since finding out where endeavor lives Izuku will show up at random hidden within the shadows ready to attack.

Enji is 90% sure he is being haunted by a vengeful spirit or in this case cat. It's honestly freaking him out, this cat is in his home, his son's school, he even thought he saw the green menace at his agency once.

3: hajime and nagito. ive kinda fallen out of the danganronpa fandom but these two kept me in it for way too long. theyve both got a ton of issues and while i do kind of wish there was more of them in canon with nagito more in his right mind, what we have is just a solid rivalry and a complicated and consistently interesting relationship. theyre also gay as fuck.

2: kris and susie. fuck you caught me im one of them. while i dont ship it in terms of "i want this to happen", i ship it in "OH MY GOD THEYRE SO WHOLESOME LOOK AT THEMMMMMMM". i dont want it to be canon i just think they improve each other as people. kris cares about susie more than noelle or even ralsei, who has been far nicer to them, and susie trusts kris to hell and back. i want them to team up to fight god and/or you. yes you. local deltarune player get beat the fuck up by krusie. i want them to make out for fun and get married for tax benefits.

Dekusquad with a reader who shoplifts because they have no money

I didn't know if it was the whole dekusquad platonically or every individual in the dekusquad romantically but I tried and I hope you enjoy it anyways!

The first HC! Because I couldn't think of a flowing short story.

Dekusquad with a Shoplifting S/O

You were far from wealthy as a kid, and although you didn't steal anything too big, you were very accustomed to snagging small portions of food from a convenience store, or the occasional shirt.

Of course, you were aware that stealing was a crime but...anything's legal when the cops aren't around, right?

Your family was always a little tight on cash, so not spending a couple bucks on a (usually thrifted) hoodie seemed acceptable.

And you didn't want to be a hero, so you used your powers to steal instead of to save lives.

Your quirk was called "cube". With a simple touch, anything you wanted would turn into a tiny cube, no bigger than a marble. You'd "cube" your objects in the store, walk out with them in your pocket, and "un-cube" them when you got home.

Izuku Midoriya:

"(Y/N)! That's stealing!"

Initially, he didn't understand why you did it. For the thrill? You wanted to use your quirk?

You didn't want to tell him that you had some small financial issues, but eventually, he got it out of you.

You burst into tears, embarrassed and ashamed of yourself. Sure, shoplifting was kinda boring since you had done it for so long, but it's not like you enjoyed it!

He tried to make you stop and let you use his money despite your vigorous refusal, and you taught him a couple tricks to shoplift efficiently without quirks.

Izuku Midoriya is a terrible thief. Good thing it's not the first time you've had to charm your way out of a police station.

Tenya Iida

I'm not even gonna put in the dialogue here, because he just started ranting about how shoplifting impacts the economy.

When he went on that rant, though, he had no idea what kind of financial situation you were in. He just thought that you were having some fun (bc ur a bad bitch in his eyes).

He found out the real reason when he followed you home one day. It wasn't creepy, he was just confused as to why you kept refusing when he wanted to come to your house.

When he saw it, well, it wasn't in complete shambles but it was far from luxurious. And then everything clicked, the reluctance to let him come over, the shoplifting, the shyness. It all made sense.

He felt bad for jumping to conclusions and tried his absolute best to make you stop. And you did...mostly.

So, you'd rarely snatch a pack of gum or candy bar, but that's as far as you'd go! You wouldn't want to upset your hero in training.

Tsuyu Asui

"So that's why you have an unlimited lollipop supply."

You were sheepish after being caught "cubing" a bag of lollipops. Asui shook her head, before making you "un-cube" them and paying for them herself.

She disapproved of it, but when she saw you convince a security guard that you had indeed paid for what you had bought without ever showing him a receipt, she was very impressed.

Did she want you to stop? Of course. Did she want to join in (just a lil bit)? Hell yeah!

She offered to pay for most things even though you told her there was no need, and since she was always pretty frank with you, you were okay with telling her about why you shoplifted (though you tried to avoid it).

But that one time where she launched her tongue out, covering up the perfect spot on the CCTV feed, you couldn't help but wonder if she did it on purpose. Thank you, Asui!

Ochaco Uraraka

"You really shouldn't do that...but I do understand..."

Since she also wasn't from a very wealthy family, she knew where you were coming from. She knew about your situation beforehand since you weren't too hesitant to share it with her, since she was in a similar spot (you weren't that keen on it either, though).

You once really grilled her and she blurted it out: "Yeah, okay, I shoplifted once! But it was the only time and I just wasn't thinking and--!"

You couldn't care less. In fact, you were proud. Come to the dark side, Ochaco!

You weren't necessarily evil or "dark", but since she was so pure and sweet, it just made sense.

She wasn't in a position to be buying everything for you like the others, so instead, she implemented some tips to save money when the two of you went shopping or on a date.

Shoto Todoroki

"What? Why? You can always ask me if you need anything."

You almost choked while he just sat there, utterly confused.

He didn't understand why you didn't want to rely on him. You kept telling him that you would feel bad using his money since you did nothing to earn it, but he just kept coming back with "but we're dating" to retaliate.

Eventually, he grinned and told you that it was fine to use his money. When you asked why, he just grinned even more.

So what was the reason? To piss off Endeavour. It was actually his money, so that was a good enough reason to spend all of it.

How'd he get you to stop? He just ended up paying for everything so often that you didn't even think about shoplifting until you were out of a store. You were too busy apologising for spending his money, even though he didn't care.

And then there was that one time when you did shoplift something, and ended up hiding at his house while his father was home...you started running again.

OKAY some little tidbits on trigger cut for @xobitouya without getting TOO spoilery

the entire idea came to me through adhd osmosis because I came up with this dialogue:

"D'you guys fuck or something?"

"No," Dabi says at the same time as Tomura nods: "Yes."

Jin and Himiko share a look.

"Ah, so not anymore..?"

"... It's complicated."

"Seems it! No, it doesn't."

sadly their characterization has changed so much from my initial planning stages that I almost definitely will not be able to fit that particular dialogue in, but the general idea went

"what if dabi and shig were exes? / what if they were exes and also childhood friends? / if they were childhood friends, would they still be murderers? / if they aren't murderers, what do they do? / what if they were PETTY CRIMINALS???"

so, as you can see, very coherent, but that's pretty much how the whole au was born!!

the heist itself was plotted in one eight hour long discord call with @girlbossfuyumi in which I yelled at them to make sure there were no logical inconsistencies, or things I had forgotten (there probably are, but y'know what, whatever)

one of the hardest parts of planning the heist was working around the fact that 1) everyone else ALSO has quirks, and 2) those quirks and support items, would absolutely be used in security measures to protect against things like this

moving away from the planning side to the actual Lore,

dabi and tomura's backstories are basically the same as in the manga, obviously up until certain points. for tomura, this is when instead of afo coming to pick him up off the streets, he makes, and then sends kurogiri instead

for dabi, it's when he is saved from the fire by kurogiri

speaking of kurogiri, he's the single most important character in the fic, and finding a way to write/characterise him was a NIGHTMARE, because I had him remember at least parts of who he was loooong before he did in canon

but he has essentially been acting as tomura (and later dabi)'s parental figure for close to 20 years

tomura doesn't actually have a last name, so he's not actually shigaraki! he's literally just tomura because I could not for the life of me come up with a logical reason why kurogiri would give him afo's name lmfaooooo

dabi named himself dabi because he's a lil edgelord like that and he wouldn't know subtlety if it hit him in the face

dabi is an EXPERT at three card monte and tomura has more than once had to threaten to disintegrate people dabi has swindled with it

I didn't really think too hard about the other league member's backstories, but one of the things I knew I wanted right from the start was for toga to be a nurse at a blood bank, and essentially use it as a cover to sell her services as a thief (along with twice). it's two for the price of one - she can become anyone who's donated blood, and she has a fairly steady paycheque regardless

as I think is made abundantly clear in the fic, dabi and tomura have Issues™, and they all stem from one event, that being the last job they ever did together before dabi's arrest, where everything that could have gone wrong did

I don't want to get too into it cause it will be revealed in later chapters, but if you think dabi is fucked up, wait till we get to tomura. the mental gymnastics this guy is pulling right now.......

dabi is into card sharking/cardistry/card mechanics 1) for plot reasons, 2) because I fell ridiculously in love with it while plotting this and I think it's sexy, and 3) because For Reasons, he will not use his quirk for tomura anymore, so I needed a reason for him to be a part of the heist lmfao

shouto makes an appearance 😌 and all the todoroki's (minus endeavor) visited dabi in prison when he was revealed to be touya
