Dating Todd is comforting. His sweet and loving nature nurtures you emotionally while his firm touch satisfies you physically.

Todd will show you his love through long and meaningful conversations. He will listen to you ramble about your current hyper fixation for hours on a row and often give you a piece of his mind as well. You may expect a few dedicatory songs as well, since it may be hard for him to find the exact words to express his feelings.

Todd simply adores cartoons. They are a comforting relief on his routine, so taking 40min a day to watch one or two episodes is a usual pick to spend time together. He gets you to pet his hair while watching it. He absolutely adores it.

Here are the ones you both have been watching lately:

The Amazing World of Gumball (and he LOVES Darwin);

Clarence (he finds it very entertaining);

My Little Pony (cause you cannot tell me otherwise, and also he finds Twilight Sparkle way out of Mordecai's league);

We Bare Bears (there's something really comforting and soothing on it and he can't quite point it out);

Seldomly, the cuddles sessions you had while watching cartoons would turn into a makeout session. Todd is not the one to tell you he's in the mood, but his delicate hands caressing your back and bringing you closer by grabbing your waist would give you a hint.

His pet name to you would be a nickname, something homey and personal.

He won't ask for it, but Todd is very attention-starved, he needs your reassurance and constant presence. Listen to what he has to say and be there to comfort him when necessary. Don't worry, he will do the same for you.

At first, he will try and push you away from his emotional side. He will tell you he doesn't need a babysitter or sassy bullshit on the same line. Not true, baby boy just doesn't feel like relying on someone is a valid choice. It will take a bit of perseverance from you to show him that it is.

Also, hug him a lot. He's not used to physical touch and will flinch to it. Be patient, and you'll realize he's very into it.

He will notice when you're upset. At first, his socially anxious ass will think it's his fault and led him to a good 20min of absolute despair. Then he will shake his head and try to approach you.

If you open up to him, he'll listen carefully and pet your hair while you speak to calm you down. If you don't, he'll respect your space, and ask if there's anything he can do to help the situation. Either way, please reassure him he's not the problem.

Whenever you're down, he takes care of you. He will have your head lay on his lap and gently brush your cheek with his thumb while cupping your face. He'll set up a calming playlist and may even sing along to Wonderwall by Oasis to profess his love to you and reassure you he will be there, no matter what.

Todd sees you as an admirable person and will make that clear all the time. His glance and attitude towards you will be nothing but comforting. It's smitten, yes, but in a calming way.

He also loves to kiss you or whispering sweet nothings while looking at your eyes. Todd is an intense person, his love will come as intoxicating and addictive. So will his kiss and touch. He will let you lead him through it and take as far as you do.

Finally, Todd loves to share his bed with you. Actually, most of the time you spend together is laying on it. He makes sure to always have clean sheets and providing you with his softest blanket whenever the weather goes is chilly.

He loves to fall asleep with you by his side. His hand will rest on your waist while you cuddle up together. He will probably fall asleep before you, so you get to watch his angelical sleepy face.

Todd has two types of kisses. The first one is just a peck on the lips when you're in public, is very lovely and sweet. But when you're alone, he will kiss you very intensely. Both hands are on your waist, keeping you as close as possible. When he's done, you'll hear an "I love you..." whispered at your ear along with his heavy breathing.

Lead him, I beg you. Todd likes for you to have control of the situation and doesn't mind being guided and told what to do as well.

His favorite and only place for makeout sessions is his dorm. Especially his bed. It's comfortable, soft, private, and safe. Todd will always lock up the door, that way he can take his time with you without worrying about getting caught or interrupted.

Your first time was... intense. Very intense. Todd likes to take his time with you, slow and always. You were his first partner. Although it was hard to believe he had no experience since things went so naturally. He built up the tension painfully slow and very lovingly, especially since your faces are always close and he can hear the loving sounds escaping your mouth.

Most likely to caress you while building the tension. His touch would be firm and delicate so you can have a sense of stability. Todd's favorite place to caress is your waist and back, that way he can keep your body pressed against his all along.

His way to make you relax is by professing his love to you. Stating things he loves in your body and personality, or simply saying 'I love you' again and again. He will not ask, but say it back, please?

Todd is a sweet partner and likes for you to have maximum comfort. So clean bedsheets and an organized room are his way to provide that. Also, if it's cold enough, his softest blanket is yours.

Todd will not tell you when he's in the mood. His signs are also subtle, like a longer peck or perhaps keeping you closer than usual. Once you're alone, ask, and he will be honest.

Finally, Todd loves to fall asleep in your arms. Extra points if you stroke his hair and let him be the little spoon.

Todd had been dating you for a while, and everything was going perfectly fine so far. At least that was what he was thinking while walking to his dorm room only to see you crying.

His first thought was "what did I do wrong?". But once he shook out the fear, the boy walked towards you and sited by your side.

"(Y/Nn)? Are you okay?" he immediately mentally face palmed himself. You clearly weren't okay. You were crying. "Do you want to talk about it?" he proceeded as his hand gently petted your hair.

You took your time calming yourself and told him about how you tried some piece of clothing, and it didn't look how you wanted to. And then how that made you spiraling to your insecurities towards your body.

He knows what it's like to have insecurities rooting your brain. He had his own couple of insecurities keeping him up at night.

Todd listened carefully to your vent. Once you finished, he pulled you closer as he set some music in the background. He lay down and brought you near his chest, caressing your back.

After a while, he looked into your eyes and say calmly, "These... things, these insecurities, they will rot your brain. They will corrode it until you're so caught up on it to the point where it becomes your entire reality. And I wish that there was some magical advice or word I could say that would make them go away completely, but there's no such thing. But I can, and will, say that I will love you no matter what. I will love you, and this pretty brain of yours, no matter what or when." he used a thumb to dry out a tear on your cheek. "You see, (Y/Nn), you're stuck with me. I want to be here to dry your tears and take care of you. I want to be your safe harbor, and I'm glad you saw me as one today."

As your face started to get teary again, the boy got worried about what he had said wrong. He got nervous, "I-i'm sorry if that was in-" "I love you." he blushed hard, "I-uh, you're crying...?" "It's from happiness, silly..." you said burying your face on his chest and giving a half-smile. "Oh... nice," said himself, giggling.

After that, he made sure to bring you snacks and cuddle you while you both watch a light episode of Steven Universe ('cause, according to Todd, "No one teaches better self-acceptance than the Crystal Gems.").

Most specifically, 'Mindful Education' (season 4, episode 4), and you get him to sing 'Here Comes a Thought' to you :D

He would probably notice you the first time when Mr. Keating made him improvise the poem;

After he was finished you were the only one clapping and, oh well, his anxious ass couldn't tell if you were doing it out of heart or just mocking him up;

He was almost sure it was the latter;

So in the next few days he started to notice you noticing him, and everytime he would stare at you and you were staring he would just blush hard and look way;

If you're shy as well, you would do the same, if not you would just probably smile at his sweetness and going back at the talk you were having with you're friend;

In a week or two of this scenario going on and on again, Neil noticed how frustrated Todd was in general and what was actually going on, but he would just probably watch it in silence... waiting for Todd to notice himself he was developing a crush for you;

But oh well, Charlie is perceptive as fuck as well, but instead of keeping to himself like Neil, he would just tease Todd A LOT, like really, A LOT;

"wOULD YOU PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE" "PEACE IS NEVER AN OPTION IN THE MATTERS OF LOVE, TODD" -Todd and Charlie, at some point and you could hear Neil gigle in the background;

That same day, they came back to the dorm and Todd was just.... absolutely angry/annoyed at Charlie, he starts to vent with Neil about how this was all absurd and how he hadn't even talked to you yet;

Until he notices Neil smiling mischievously at him, "wHAT?" "Well, if it bothers you so much, you're at least interested... if you wasn't, the tease wouldn't make any difference." and then Todd's eyes go wide and he shuts down for the rest of the night in his little head;

As he didn't was sure about your intentions yet, act on the situation was complicated. He decided (probably by a light pressure of the other poets) to take the risk nonetheless;

He needed a prompt to start the conversation though, and he goes by "What's your favorite poet?";

He was sweaty and couldn't look you straight in the eyes at first, but then you answered "The sweaty-toothed madman, what's yours?", and now he knows you wasn't mocking him when you clapped;

He smiles shyly and let the conversation flows, of course he would choke on words now and then but, oh well, this was much better than the public humiliation scenario he imagined in his head;

As soon as you guys gain some intimacy, he shows his defensive/sassy side more often, not because he considers it a flirting thing (aHEM Charlie) but because he feels comfortable enough to draw his lines without fear of being judged;

He starts to wonder if it is really love what he feels, since is ever described it as a thing that makes your heart beat faster and, when he's with you, he feels a huge comfort and tranquility;

He realises it that love has various forms and decides to finally ask you out in the next day;

He handles you the poem written in a notebook ripped page and the "Would you go out with me tonight?";

You would say yes, of course! The date would be lovely and you both would hold hands during all of it;
