Here’s a chart of the hip hop/instrumental projects released in March that I enjoyed the most. I’ll include a list below with links to where you can preview/purchase these releases as well, just click on the names of the projects. Overall another great month in what’s looking like it might be the best year for hip hop in a while, seriously it’s crazy how much quality music there’s been in this first quarter alone and there’s still so much that i’m looking forward to. New Kendrick, Sadistik, Gorillaz, Brother Ali, Czarface, At The Drive-In.. and that’s just off the top for April/early may alone.
Anyway, there’s a lot of projects on here that I feel like went under the radar for a lot of people so I hope this helps y’all find some new music that you dig that & might not have heard otherwise. I know that probably goes without saying, but that’s always been the goal and the whole reason why i take the time to put these together in the first place. There’s just so much quality music out there that people are sleeping on. Also If there’s anything I missed that you think I would like and should check out feel free to let me know. Peace.

Here's an SF tale for you to read tonight: "At the Foot of the Lighthouse," by Erin Hoffman.
I am American. We are all Americans. The year is 1942. A Japanese-American girl’s life is turned upside down by Executive Order 9066, and she must cope with a life confined to the barbed wire of an internment camp in the Arizona desert. There, she struggles to weigh her continued loyalty to her country (which has betrayed and ostracized everyone she loves) against a closely guarded family secret that could change the course of history.
